 Clare sat up, stifling a yawn. "I'm Clare. Thanks for telling me that. If you hadn't I'd have starved." She took the items from the boy. "Thanks." She stood up and followed them to the table. When she sat down her plate filled with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and waffles. "So, have you been here before?" ((yeah, me too. And its ok. I was watching The Hobbit earlier, you know the new one? And its past midnight now, I just can't sleep.))

Aki Sasaki Daughter of Apollo[Wearing] "Same." Aki chimed in. "I've lived here for seven years." Her accent kicked in a little on the word 'lived'. She was normally good with English, but 'L's were still a but difficult and now and then would come out as 'R's. She took another bite over her tomago and picked up her bowl of rice, shoveling it slowly into her mouth. A lot of people found the way and things she ate strange and she believed she was the only Asian person there, even if she didn't look Asian in the slightest since she took after her dad in looks. Suddenly her ears twitched under her bandana, which made her worry a bit that one of them may have noticed two little moving lumps on her head. She quickly adjusted her head wear to cover her ears better, but she couldn't help that her instincts made her ears twitch to hear things better. All the fox girl to do was hope the other two didn't notice.

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Bastion, Son of Khione Bastion was nearing the end of his precious pile of pancakes, so he slowed his eating. This gave him the opportunity to catch a glance or two at Aki. -She sure fiddles with her head covering a lot-. Being the bold fool he was Bastion then decided to ask "So Aki, why do you keep fiddling with your bandanna?"

Aki SasakiDaughter of Apollo[Wearing]Aki was shocked and surprised by the question. So shocked she accidentally inhaled some of her orange juice and started coughing it up. "N-nani!? W-what are are you talking about? I don't fiddle with it that much. There's no reason to. W-why do you ask? Is there something wrong with it if I did?" The fox girl wasn't the best liar, but she was pretty good at getting defensive, probably her natural animal instincts.

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Bastion recoiled as Aki sprayed him with orange juice. He quickly and urgently cleaned all of it off of him with his napkin. -Dammit what a lame allergy. Who's allergic to orange juice? Oh yeah me, of course-. Luckily it wasn't a lot and he got it off of himself quickly. Bastion the went to Aki "Are you alright?" he asked with a genuine look of concern. After he was sure that Aki was okay, Bastion answered her questions. "Ypu do fiddle with you bandanna quite a bit, but there's nothing wrong with that" He said, "I was just curious is all."

Aki SasakiDaughter of Apollo[Wearing]Crap. She was so horrible when it came to her secret. Sometimes she questioned why she even bothered. Oh yeah, so she wouldn't be turned into some kid's science fair project. "W-Well it's a dumb thing to wonder about. And I don't fiddle with it very often." She said, her ears twitching a bit in anger, so she had to fiddle with it again to keep them covered, being completely contradictory. "I-i-if I do fiddle with it, it's just because...because I feel like it's falling off and I don't wanna loose it. Yeah. I don't want it to fall off." She lied so obviously through her teeth. She hated having to lie to people, but what else could she do? There was no way she could let others know she was some foxy freak thanks to a Hecate child mishap.

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Bastion knew she was hiding something, and he was very curious so he decided that he would offer her a deal. "I don't know you that well, but here's a deal for you" he said, leaning closer to her. "I'll tell you my deepest, darkest secret if you tell me yours" He smiled wide, then held out his hand to her, pinky extended to signify that he was serious, and that he wasn't lying.

Aki SasakiDaughter of Apollo[Wearing][Thinking:s**t! This is bad!] The fox girl jumped up, getting even angrier that the boy wouldn't drop the subject already and let out a low growl as a fox would. " Grrrr...I don't have a yipin' secret!" s**t! She quickly covered her mouth when she realized what had come out of her mouth. She had just growled and yipped like a fox to this boy. No, no, no! She couldn't let this get out! "I...I mean...I don't...have a...secret..." Aki stated, trying desperately to calm down. She had to make sure not to slip again. Why did her fox half have to be so temperamental?!

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Bastion said, smiling, "Just know that my deal will always be there, ok?" He then went back to eating his food, though his mind was still troubled. He had noticed some strange tendencies in Aki, like the growl and he even thought he heard her yip. Growling, in Bastion's eyes, wasn't that strange because he was very animalistic and sometimes growled himself, but the yip. The yip was suspect.

Stupid tail!] Aki cleared her throat and went to sit back down, but let out a small yip again when her tail got in the way, quickly she wrapped it tighter around her leg so it wasn't noticeable, in the way, or uncomfortable and cleared her throat again as she sat back down. "U-u-umm...r-right...well...I have nothing to hide so...uh...your deal will g-go un-taken. S-sorry." She lied again through her teeth and forced a smile. "So hows your pancakes?" She asked, changing the subject and hoping that it would never come up again.

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Bastion was a tad bit hurt that she would continue to obviously lie to his face. But, he was sure she had her reasons, plus he didn't really know her too well yet. So he resolved to find out in due time, but in the meantime, he was going to have some fun. "My pancakes? They're delicious!" he declared. Too bad you turned my deal down though, my secret is pretty crazy," he chided playfully "Oh well".

Aki SasakiDaughter of Apollo[Wearing][Thinking: Right. Your secret is crazy. -.-"] "Doubt it beats mine." She mumbled under her breathe to herself. "That is...I mean...If I had one." She 'clarified'. "Which I don't. Ever tried tamago? It's my favorite breakfast. Real traditional Japanese style food. It's an omelet, but it's sweet and juice and fluffy. Not like a fruit though. The sweet tastes more like a dessert." She tried to explain it, but she wasn't very good at descriptions, so she cut a piece with her chopsticks and picked it up to hold it to Bastion's mouth. "It's easier to just had you try it. Here."

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Bastion decided to finally drop the subject of secrets, plus he was curious as to how tomago tastes. "I would love to try some!" he said beaming at her. So he gently grabbed her hand and guided it to his mouth. He bit down and pulled the piece of tomago into his mouth, then he released her hand. He chewed and savored the fluffy sweet eggs. Also he suddenly became painfully aware of how red his face was. He was blushing again!
