While Nami continued to ponder what her new home decor could be, a boy walked into the furniture store and made his was over to one of the back corners, where he proceeded to slump down. Sighing, she made her way over, and then sat across from him. "You know, sitting in the furniture from Amegakure would probably be better for sulking in." With a soft smile, Nami tried to send a bit of a positive vibe towards this boy who had something serious bothering him.

Nami smiled wider this time. This boy was a lot nicer than the last youth in this village she had met. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ruu Saito. My name is Nami Mokuzaibara. I am from Tori no Kuni, and I am now acting emissary between there and Sunagakure. I just became a Kunoichi for the great Suna!" She seemed to be almost gushing now. It was nice to be talking to someone else that wasn't a complete brat like Maki is.

While running a hand through her auburn locks, Nami continued to smile. "I must say, you are a lot more pleasant than the last young shinobi I met. That boy....he was such a brat!" After realizing she was starting to look less like a lady and more like a angel of revenge, Nami recomposed herself and smiled once again. "But I'm sure I will not run into him anytime soon. He doesn't seem like he'd keep good company such as yourself."

Nami blushed a little with how he was being so kind. He didn't even pry about the issues she had early with Maki. When the question was brought up about Tori no Kuni, she began to beam. "Oh, where to begin about my homeland! All types of birds under the sun migrate there, and the lakes upon which some of the houses are built around and on the islands in the middle of them are so beautiful." While reminiscing about the home she left behind, Nami wondered how her family was doing.

Nami smiled softly, and nodded. "Thank you for your appreciation. Lord Darello was kind enough to thank me as well. As for my trip, it was lengthy, but not too terrible. It was interesting to see the desert for the first time." Nami began to recall the trek through the desert, and all the mini adventures she had been through with her two escorts. The most fun she had was when one of them had to try and take his hat back from a camel that passed by with a caravan.

Humming softly, Nami began to look around at the furniture once again, trying to figure out what type of style she was wanting for her home. There seemed to be far too many choices that were so appealing! Still, at least she had some nice company.

Nami turned her head back to the other when he mentioned showing her around, and then smiled a bit. "That's a very nice offer, Ryuu! I'll have to take it into consideration. Right now I'm debating on what furnishing style I want for my new home. So many choices!" With that, Nami arose from the lounger and began to look about the store once again, stopping in some places for longer than others, still unsure of what to go with for her new home.

Looking back over her shoulder, she motioned for the other to join her. While standing in front of a loveseat from Kirigakure, Nami had an arm wrapped around herself while the other hand was against her cheek. "I'm really liking this color of blue, but there is still that lovely couch from the Land of Honey...." Nami was beside herself with indecision.

Nami turned around and went towards where Ryuu was showing her some furnishing from the Land of Vegetables. The colors were indeed bright, and the style was appealing, but it just felt like it was lacking something. "These are nice and all...but I feel there is just some element that is missing from them...I wonder if.." Before she could continue, she saw a furniture set that made her smile immensely.

The furniture had a tropical yet very refined appeal to it. The furniture set had shades of purple and blue. The Land of the Moon had exquisite tastes! Turning quickly, Nami hugged Ryuu and laughed. "If you hadn't of pointed out the furniture from the Land of Veggies, I never would have found this amazing set! Thank you!" Once she released Ryuu, she made her way over to the salesperson, and then had the receipt for her new furnishings. "Thank you again, Ryuu. That really did help me out!"

Nami smiled at Ryuu. He was being so hospitible that it was touching. "Thank you Ryuu, but right now I'd rather treat you to something!" Taking his hand, Nami rushed out of the store with him in tow, expecting her furniture to be delivered later that day. As she pulled her companion towards the destination in mind, Nami was grinning. She felt like she had already made a new friend and a good acquaintance with one of the important figures of the village from earlier.

As Nami began to eat her ice cream, she couldn't help but let out a relaxed sigh. Ryuu sat next to her with the ice cream she had insisted on paying for him, and couldn't help but wonder what had troubled him earlier. As she took another bite of her rainbow sherbet, Nami noticed that some of the villagers were whispering and looking in their direction. "Is it me, or do they seem to be looking over her intently?"

Nami frowned slightly when she heard what he said, and then took another bite out of her ice cream. "You know, if you have something on your mind, you can tell me about it. Since I will be protecting Suna now, taking on the problems of villagers and it's shinobi is something that I would be honored to do." She smiled once again, that smile that could melt ice. She really wanted to help Ryuu out. It seemed that whatever was bothering him had something to do with the whispers.

While taking another bite of her sherbet, Nami began to wonder what was going on back at the Kazekage's office. She remembered that Maki was there, and that made her cringe just a bit. But she also wondered about the stand in Kazekage, Darello. He was very kind to her, and seemed eager to have her as a part of the village. But that brought to mind the question of where the true Kazekage was. Did he go on a trip? Was it a training mission? Important questions, these.
