Millie was killing the small things quicker than the other times. Practice makes perfect maybe?

She wouldn't lose this time. Readying herself, she needed to hit a few small points on the creatures head and appendages. If she was lucky, this would unravel the thing holding the wings together and it would fall.

Of course, this meant she needed to get past the sharp, deadly wings and stay within range to do so.

Millie dashed in, hit the point in the hunter's "leg" with Esu's sharp blade, then retreated out of the wing's range.

The wing had grazed her shoulder, but so far so good.

Hitting one of the points near the head was a little trickier and the creature did not let Millie go unscathed as she retreated out of range again.

She missed the next spot and barely got out of the way in time. The creature was now trying to grab her, so hitting a spot on its arm would be her next move.

The arm dissolved as she hit it, proving Millie's theory that she could just unravel the creature was working.
The other arm grabbed her tightly. She had no way of retreating this time.

Stabbing the creature's arm that held her, it let out a howl and dissolved, the wings frozen in time for a few moments before it collapsed in on itself, sucking the bright colors in with it.

A tiny object where the creature was hit the floor. Picking it up, the object cracked in half and dissipated into nothingness.

Millie was back in the white classroom and the hole was gone.

"What kind of class was that?" she asked. Which was silly because there was no one around. Deciding that she desperately needed a long nap, Millie wandered back to her dorm room.
