"Well... yeah, all things considered. Sid, we're involved in a lot of stuff you know. With the white coats, the horsemen, and if I was a boogie, if I went the same way Red did." She grew quiet and squeezed Siddie's hand harder.
"If something ever happened to me, I'd want something to be left behind, something...." She grew quiet and seemed to choke up a bit. "Something that you know, you could love still, and remember me by..." She looked away then at Siddie again, "I just don't want to risk something happening and leaving you all alone."

"I - I guess. I hadn't thought about it like that." Siddie squeezed Sammy's hand. A slight shine of moisture shimmered in black-on-black eyes. "Yeah. I understand." She smiled a little shakily at Sammy. "Okay. When we're - when we're out of school, on our own, then we can see when's the best time."

The world tinted ever so slightly purple, Sammy could see the slight shift between eye and shadow. Or at least the tear that marked it. The tightened grip on her hand caused her eyes to flare again. She moved around the table getting closer to Siddie, an arm wrapping around her tugging her closer as they held hands.
Cold lips pressed against a warm, and slightly more damp cheek. "When we get there... and... Siddie... I love you. Don't ever forget that." She kissed her again on the lips, lingering as long as Siddie let her.

Siddie cuddled against Sammy's side, giving her a little, gentle smile. "I love you too."

Sammy rested her head against Siddie's smiling softly into the seemingly endless shadow that was her ghoulfriends face. She didn't feel the need to say much more, instead she picked up a roll and playfully put it to her lips.
They did come for tea and cakes after all; sammy would get tea and cakes.
