OKAY OKAY YOU GUYS. Hi. These are the contests I have down right now, and we really should start with ACTUALLY planning these. If you still want to host a contest, let me know what contest you have in mind. And if you no longer want to host a contest, let me know as well so we can change things up. But basically, we should start making threads and stuff now. (:
Also, to anyone hosting a contest, you should start coming up with prizes. I've invited you all to a guild that we will be using for contests and such and there are threads in there that should help when creating a contest and about prizes and all that. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! (:

★ I actually sort of thought of an idea to connect my contest to other well-known H.G. Wells works, namely The Time Machine, The Island of Doctor Moreau, War of the Worlds, and The First Men on the Moon. Basically, Griffin has this machine that he doesn't really know what it does, he just sort of... found it... and you have to help him figure out what it does.
The guest then rolls the dice/generates a number, and based on what they get, the guest then will get sucked into another place by the machine. Yes, it turns out the machine is used for travel - however, they're now stuck in this place. From there, it then turns into a choose-your-own-adventure thing, only they're rolling the die to move on through the place to get to the traveling machine. For example:
Oh no! You've fallen into a hole! However, there's some red vines you can grab onto... maybe you could climb out! (Roll a 4-sided die)
If you got a 1 or a 2, click here. (This would lead to a failure) If you got a 3 or a 4, click here. (This would lead to the next stage).
It would require five threads at least, though - four for the scenario threads, and one separate rolling thread.
The failures would get a small prize (something 1k - 50k, maybe) and the Wins would get a large prize (500k ish?)
Some basic rules: 1. You can only play once a day. 2. Once somebody has won a scenario, that scenario cannot be played anymore. 3. Post what you're rolling for when you roll. (For example, when you're starting, post "Rolling to decide what button to press", and when you're in the scenario, post "Rolling for The Time Traveler Stage 1") 4. Once you fail or win, quote Kez Mani and tell me which page your final roll was on for the day.
