It took a few moments at staring at Zephyr with a 'Are you f**king serious' face before Ariel actually reacted. Sitting up on the other's lap she then took a hold of his face and brought it closer to her face. About three seconds after staring him straight in the face she began to pout before pinching and pulling the boy's cheeks. "Are you stupid or somefin? How wouldn't someone care when there is someone who is sick and doesn't know how to cure it. You big doofish." After her little rant she released him before she stood up and walked a little forward. "Buoys are really stupid not understanding that someone should worry about them." She crossed her arms and kept her back to him.

He let her play with his face and walk off before he stood, running a hand over his cheeks with a slight sigh. "When you're as old as I am and don't remember things you should.... like if you had a love before you lost your memories..it seems useless to have people care about me when I don't remember those who used to care."

Ariel's arm soon went to her sides. She really felt sad hearing what he had said but what hurt most was that she thought he was giving up so easily. "That's why you try harder to find out somefin. Give it your all no matter what. Don't just throw in the white flag." That was when she looked back, looking like she was almost in tears. "If you won't try then I will for you!" That said she turned back around and rubbed her eyes with her arm before she tried to walk away. The odd feeling in her chest was back again and it was all due to that boy, Zephyr.

Zephyr stood there as the girl started to walk away, his mind working away on what had just happened. She was in tears, but why....because of him? The dragon shook his head, but the more he thought about it the more sense it made. That's when it clicked.
Rushing after her, he gently grabbed one of her wrists with an odd sort of smile on his face, "There is a saying that blank pages are meant to be written on... And I'm a blank book. Would..." He paused for a second before continuing;
"would you like to help me write a new history?"

Heart skipped a beat from the sudden words the boy told her. Face deepened in a purple like blush. Her mind even went blank. Had what just happened really happened? Was she suppose to take what he said as a confession? Her heart beat only quickened which made her nervous. Ariel rarely did get nervous. Heck she was always seen as the bravest and one of the first to jump into something. To actually feel nervous, it scared her.
Snatching her hand away she went on to push Zephyr away or at least try and fail miserably. Frustrated she turned back around and began to walk away again in a much quicker pace. Right as she was a few yards away she stopped but did not turn around. "Fin, I'll do it and you betta be grateful, doofish!" She shouted then continued to walk away grumbling but then stopped as she placed a hand over her heart. "Stupid buoy," she whispered as she had a soft expression on her face.

Even though he was pushed away, the dragon followed her like a lost puppy, wanting to know what she meant, but he never went in front of her. "Does.. that mean we're dating now or something?" Zephyr asked curiously, unsure if she took his words as a proper confession, as cheesy as they were.

"H-how should I know you doofish?" Putting her hands on her ears she began to run. Her face felt like it was burning from embarrassment. How could the other say something like that out loud? She actually wish she was heading towards the lake so jump in and hide in the water but she was running in a random direction. She didn't really care where she went. All she knew was that she wanted to keep running, not wanting to be seen in the state that she was right now.

Frowning, the Dragon watched the girl run off, leaving him alone to think about things, though his quick conclusion was to follow her. Which he did...but not on foot. He followed her by flying, staying a decent height up and following her before swooping down and picking her up, taking a couple second before adjusting her so she was being held bridal style, and carrying her off as he flew up a little bit before hovering. Smiling down at her, he couldn't help but chuckle, "Why do you keep running away?" Zephyr asked softly.

A little squeak like sound came out of Ariel when she was suddenly picked up. She was beginning to hate how the boy did that even if he had only done it twice. Though she didn't have time to complain about that as she tried to hide her flushed face from the boy. She first used her hands then just went with using her hair to cover her face. "Calm up. I-I can run i-if I want to you doofish."

"I just want to know why you keep running away when I ask you a question about ... what our relationship currently is. If you don't tell me that it is what I think it is hen I'm just going ti have to assume." He frowned, though his frown almost looked like a pout which was a little odd for him.

Really? How was she suppose to deal with someone like this? After screaming into her hands she removed the hair from her face and looked to the boy with a mean look. There was still blush on her face but now there was no running or hidding. "You don't just go asking a gill that. You have to do it with more romance. Oh cod and you're suppose to be old as heck." Instantly she planted her palms to her face and muffled another scream.

The dragon tilted his head, confused by how he age gap was an issue - they were both technically the same age physically - he was just older from the standpoint of how much time he had spent living though he didn't remember most of it. "I don't see how that's an issue..but if you want romance.." Zephyr looked around quickly and spotted the highest tree on the grounds and sat on a sturdy looking branch, straddling it so they didn't fall as his tail wrapped around it as well to provide extra support as he surrounded them both with his translucent wings.

Now she regretted saying what she said, well not completely. "W-w-water you d-doing?" Her heart beat so fast it felt as if it would jump out and run for it. The suspense didn't help either. All she could do is stare at the dragon with wide eyes and mouth slightly open while she waited for her answer.

Zephyr smiled softly before he leaned in for a kiss, gently pressing his lips against hers as he still held onto her, not letting her go as he closed his eyes. It only lasted a couple seconds before he leaned back and looked at her, still smiling, "Well..?"

Ariel looked as if she was in a state of shock, not believing that what had just happened actually happened. She did not say a single word for a long while until she opened her mouth to say, "Wow." That was all she said as she went silent once more, her right hand even hovering over her lips.
