iNk_mAy I think one of the main reasons that we're hung up on the idea of "teams" or "sides" is so that not everyone is playing the same type of character. Mix it up a bit. Everyone being bunnies or Jack Frost-esque characters is kind of...dull? Or at least that's why I'm hung up on the idea of sides. Its not so much about forcing people to choose an idea or plot point they like so much as forcing them to think a little bit more on the character they do make. Inky rant is finished. You may continue on... Hmmm . . . I see what you mean. Everyone being "bunnies or leprachauns" would not have much variety of character -- just like what happened with "chaste or lusty". I remember that most of the characters started to act very similar to the others from their group during the V-Day celebration. But then again, we would have the same thing happen if everyone wanted to play Jack. People would want to be like him, even if they don't play him . . . and that bloodbath . . . I don't know how we'd deal with that. We could have the fairest contest in the world and people would still bicker . . .

Ohh! Idea!
What if the chocolate bunnies and marshmallow chicks suddenly came to life? They would probably be mad at people for trying to eat them.
Just a random thought . . . Thought I might as well put it out there.

Haha, if we do the RotG theme, I actually want to play Pitch. Antagonist, what what. 8D
But yeah, that'll be a concern.
Of course, sides is not bad, not at all. I was just worried about if that's too often, and if anyone's getting tired of sides. Like, it's so common now, and all that.
If no one minds, though, it's not a bad idea at all! (:

I wouldn't want to play Jack either. And it really doesn't have to be sides if you do it the RotG way. I mean, there's only 1 (super-powerful) bad guy and lots of good guys. I really like both ideas. I guess it just comes down to which one everyone else likes. If they want sides, I think that's fine; if they don't, that's fine too. . . . I guess that means we should get everyone in here to see what they like.

Hey y'all! Voting time for the theme! <3
If you need more information, check out the front post. Sari has everything basically listed out there.
The two themes are a "saving Easter" theme (associated with RotG, if wanted), and a Easter vs. St. Patty's theme. Again, a more detailed summary is on the front page.
***reminder, not matter what theme wins, this is the Easter event. It will be held in the Easter subforum.

We won't be following the movie plot; at most we'll only use the characters and their personalities. I'll keep this in mind when we do things in the future.
