The smell coming from the kitchen was amazing, but it was nothing compared to the surprise of a spread that George had created. Her eyes were wide as she took in what was offered and she shook her head. "This is... shocking." She limped over to her plate at the table and pulled the chair out.
"It'd be better to eat first and let the wound breath a little." The growl from her stomach gave her away for the fact that she was just really hungry. Pink tinted her cheeks a bit, but she said nothing as she forked a piece of bacon into her mouth. The flavor of the cooked meat only confirmed that she was starving.

George smiled at her, "Thanks, its a pretty good breakfast. The Omelette has 2 eggs, some onion, mushrooms, ham and green peppers in it. Maybe I should grab some fruit for the table as well. Some grapes would have been good." He looked it over and shrugged as he started to eat the omelette sighing happily. Apparently all the spice that he had added to it didn't bother him at all.
"If you say so Princess." He picked up another piece of bacon with his fingers and munched on it happily. He looked at her leg quickly to see how it looked, it was red but it wasn't too bad. He looked up back at her, "You have some yummy food here, I could easily make a lot of good food for meals."
"Now later, I suggest you don't try training your Aerodactyl without help. I can come by later in the afternoon to help if you'd like." He continued to eat as he watched her reaction to his food.

Koorie shook her head as he took a bite out of the hot sauce-doused omelet. She didn't know how people could eat so much of that stuff, she hardly ever used it herself aside from small doses in large sauces and soups. Taking a bite of her own, she closed her eyes and enjoyed the flavors. She could cook, but most of her meals were quick and more for subsistence than for flavor. This? This was far better than what she normally made.
She opened her eyes and raised an eyebrow at his first comment. She didn't say anything, but wondered if he was making an offer to continue to come back to help her- something she still wasn't quite sure she believed. At his second comment, she shook her head. "I don't think training her, even with help, is the brightest idea while I'm still healing. I'll probably stay here and try to get some music written and practice the song set for the concert coming up."

George had primarily concentrated on enjoying his meal but nodded when she talked. After he had finished the omelette he sighed enjoying the burn that went along with the hot sauce. He grabbed his third piece of bacon and started munching on it while he she was eating.
"Well thats a good idea. When you do plan on training her some, give me a call. I will come by, give some of my guys some training and hopefully teach yours as well how to behave. Kill two birds with one stone."
He smiled and nodded, he thought this was a great idea, his guys could get some good experience and her Aerodactyl would learn that it paid to listen to her trainer. Maybe after getting beat by smaller pokemon that had been trained she would learn that Koorie was her friend. Some pokemon needed that display to see that they were not all powerful and needed some help.
"Do you want me to stick around or come back? I don't mind coming back to help out. How's your leg feeling right now?"
After he ate the piece of bacon he spread some strawberry jam on the toast. He began to munch on different pieces of the rest of the food.

Koorie opened her mouth to inform George that his assistance wasn't necessarily, then closed her lips and shook her head. "I'll think about it. Maybe I'll let you come." She turned her attention back to her omelet and continued eating. She didn't get too far along with that when George began to ask for her answers again.
She lifted an eyebrow and tilted her head a bit. "You'd want to stay? There wouldn't be much to do in the means of chores or otherwise. I'll be working mostly on the piano."
At the mention of her injury, her leg immediately throbbed and she frowned. "It's well enough that I can take care of it." Some habits died hard.

He was finishing off his food as he thought about what she had said. Looking at her leg, he went and grabbed some bandages and 2 ice packs. "Ok Princess, I will get it wrapped up so you don't have to worry about it for a while." He moved his chair over next to her but still in front of her and pats his thigh to motion for her to put her leg on his lap.
"I would only stay here though if you needed some help. If you are going to be busy doing other things and keeping out of trouble then you should be fine. But if you need or just want my help and/or company, give me a call." He smiled, looking at her.

She was soon done with her own meal, and she watched as George got up to go through her freezer once again to get the ice packs. "I can wrap it myself." Her argument when on deaf ears as he plopped himself in front of her and motioned for her to put her leg up. Wincing, she lifted her leg onto his thigh to let him tend to her again.
"Oh, I'm supposed to keep out of trouble? You'd better tie me to the bed then." She responded sarcastically, then instantly regretted her choice of words.

George had started to wrap her leg gently so it wouldn't be hurt. His hands were gently wrapping it and running his hand over her calves. He had placed the ice packs and started wrapping the ice packs in place.
He stopped wrapping her leg when she said her last comment and raised an eyebrow. "Well...That can be arranged." He smiled just playing along and not intending on doing anything of the sort. Just going to make her squirm and embarrassed.

Koorie could feel the heat creep to her cheeks at George tenderly took care of her. She looked down and away to keep from watching him, and irritated that her heart rate was starting to spike a bit. This was so unlike her, and she wasn't sure what to make of the entire situation. It wasn't like she allowed people to take care of her normally, and George certainly wasn't a nurse or anyone of the medical field. So why was she actually letting him help her?
At his banter back, her head shot up and she gave him a frown. "You wouldn't....!"

George had a big grin on his face, "Well who am I to deny the request of a beautiful woman? She wishes to be tied to her bed, who am I to argue?" He smiled, he knew this was getting to her.
If he was honest with himself, it was getting to him as well. It was funny but also interesting that she wasn't discounting these type of things or punching him yet. Maybe that meant something and that possibility was messing with his head and heart a bit.
"So what would you prefer to be used? The gause or do you have handcuffs or maybe rope to accomplish this? I take it this wouldn't be the first time either." He smirked seeing how he was pushing some good buttons on her. His hands still resting gently on her calf, holding the ice packs and bandages in place.

"You know damn well I was being sarcastic." The heat continued to rise to her cheeks as Koorie did her best to calm herself. Why was she even feeling this weird? Why wasn't she slapping him for what he was doing? Her injured leg most certainly wasn't an excuse for letting get away with this sort of stuff. And why was she asking herself so many questions about this?
Still, something about this situation was setting her stomach at unease, making it flip and flop like a magikarp, and sending prickles through her skin. There had to be a way to make this stop.
Leaning forward, she placed her hands over the other side of the packs, holding them herself. "I've got these. You can stop going out of your way."

George raised his eyebrows faking that he was surprised/shocked and now understanding. "Oh well if you are only being sarcastic, no harm no foul."
When she reached down and grabbed the ice packs he smiled at what she said but gently ran his left hand across her calf to one of the ice packs her hands were holding onto. He gently grabbed her hand and lifted it off and up. He leaned down and kissed the back of her hand gently. He didn't let go of her hand but still held onto it lightly.
He looked up at her and right into her eyes, "We both know I am not going out of my way Princess. So you relax and let me finish up here, that is unless you want this to take longer and for me to stay here longer." He raised an eyebrow as he looked into her eyes trying to figure out what she was thinking.

His words told her to relax, but his actions in the last 20 seconds had her completely paralyzed in shock. If he could read her mind, he would have received either a busy signal or 'the number you have dialed as been disconnected, please hang up and try again' because at the moment she was more stunned than she'd ever been before. What was even more surprising was that she was starting to enjoy this.
That had to stop.
"I can't do this." She whispered softly, and then repeated it in a stronger voice. "I can't do this." Her pulled her hand from his and despite the pain, rushed to get her foot on the floor and stood up. Her heart was hammering and she was convinced that her chest was going to bruise.

George was a bit shocked at the sudden change but couldn't help remember the way she also reacted the previous night when he tried to be charming. He nodded when she stood up and then stood up as well. "I see, that's fine then."
He pushed his chair back into the original spot and picked up his dishes setting them in the sink. He didn't feel like doing the dishes now, he cooked, she could clean up he guessed. Especially if she was good enough to not require his help and was able to take card of herself.
"Well since you do not want my help anymore, I will take my leave." He turned around and walked out of the kitchen to go grab his stuff.

And somehow the way he'd reacted only made her feel worse. The words to tell him to stop bubbled to her mouth, but never passed her lips and she watched with an ache in her chest as George went about gathering his things. She watched him with pain reflecting in her eyes as he headed to the door.
Koorie finally found her ability to move, and she reached out to grabbed George's arm. "George...." she took a deep breath. "I'm not someone you want to get involved with. Not like the way that I think this was leading to." Especially if he were to find out what had happened to her, what she had left her home and come here to put behind her. For his safety and sanity, she couldn't get involved with him.
