As he allowed his head to remain bowed, awaiting a reaction, Kouen couldn't help but begin to feel nervous. Just what would her reaction be? Several scenarios began to play out in his mind. But the simple concept came down to one final decision. Either she would accept his proposal and return his feelings in a happy but possibly formal manner. Or she would reject him bluntly and exit to go about her business. He would have accepted either choice but still love her no less then what he already had. But as the silence began to strengthen, for the first time in years, nervousness began to build within the Phoenix. Had he been too straight-forward with the girl he had fallen in love with? Too blunt? Too formal? He began to silently curse himself. The very situation that they were held in, despite the seeming return in affection; felt extremely delicate and fragile. Kouen was terrified of doing something wrong in this pivotal moment and shattering it. As it seemed sure that Lacie would have rejected him and outright break his heart; Kouen's eyes widened at the turn of events. Laughter...her laughter had quickly reached his ears. It was melodious, as amazing as he could remember. His heart fluttered slightly when he heard it. It was amazing and one of the best things he loved about her. Beginning to glance up to apologize for the moment of awkwardness he had possibly created, he was instead met with his first kiss. Eyes widening in sheer surprise, a tiny of red quickly spread onto the cheeks of Kouen. Lacie's lips were cool and soft; warmth quickly spreading between the pair. He wished they could have remained in such a position for a very long while, but after several moments, Lacie eventually broke the kiss. Proclaiming that while his way of asking her out was very formal, old fashioned and generally a little odd; she fully stated that she would be glad to go out with him while positively responding to his feelings. Rising from kneeling, the Phoenix found himself gently gripping onto Lacie's waist before spinning her around in a short burst of excitement. Even while having matured greatly; Kouen still seemed to be able to express immense happiness just like he had when he was younger. Just a part of him that would never change. Setting her back down, Kouen laughed as he responded with clear joy in his voice.
" I feel as if I have so much to say to you. I feel as if we both have many tales to exchange to one another, but there is one thing I wish to do right now. To thank you... "
Quickly regaining composure of himself, Kouen gripped Lacie's hand softly, giving her a light tug as he stepped forward. Placing one hand onto her waist while the other intertwined his fingers with hers, he proceeded to lean in and steal another slightly long kiss from the woman he had fallen for. He had hoped that his new girlfriend would not have minded; for this was one of the happiest days of the young Phoenix's life. The joy coursing through his veins and being couldn't be described by mere words alone.
" ...for responding to my feelings, Lacie~ You're an amazing woman; one that I am eternally grateful of being able to receive the affections for. I'll make sure our first date is quite the fantastic one~! "

✖With suddenly being lifted off the floor and spun around Lacie let out a surprised yelp. It seem he was just as excited probably even more at the turn of events. Lacie felt touched in a way by his actions. She really didn't leave his mind when he left two year ago uh? and it seemed as he was her motivation she turned out to be his. About to go into another fit of laughter Lacie was forced to hold it in as her boyfriend decided to steal another kiss from her, not that she didn't mind. The feeling of his lips against hers was something she knew wouldn't get tiresome of if anything It would get better. As he went on to speaking of how happy he was and the story's the two most likely had to share with each other, Lacie nodded her head agreeing with him 100%. This reunion was for the new couple was a joyous one and a day to remember for as long as fate allowed them to live. Lacie couldn't wait to hear his adventures of training. To this day she was a sucker for them and still went on small ones when she could, which was rare. Being a captain sucked, so much responsibility, paper work, and don't get her started on the conferences. With having to do all that Lacie was hardly able to go out and explore or have fun even. The only time she got to was when her twin brother Isuma would sneak her out. Speaking of her brother Lacie wondered how he would react to this, she assumed he knew she had a crush on him, and he was probably the only one that knew that the three actually went rouge and weren't in the Zaibatsu territory like she explained to everyone including her parents. "I wonder how Isuma will react to this haha. Heck I wonder how my whole family will, this will be fun and interesting!" Realizing she had unconsciously voice her thoughts Lacie froze for a moment thinking to her self on how to advert his attention from her last statement and mentally slapping herself for voicing her thoughts."I-I-I-I I mean yea cant w-wait for that first date! Haha....wait can we go on a adventure please~ I haven't been on one in forever and its no far that you got to for two years straight." Puffing her cheeks up at Kouen Lacie crossed her arms over her chest and turned away from him, pretending to be angered with him. ✖

At first beginning to chuckle at the sheer amount of affection that had passed between the couple; Kouen's eyes soon quickly paled when it was mentioned on how her family would react. He was sure that Isuma, being the wiser one of the entire group of rising rookies they had once been, figured out their mutual crush on one another very quickly. Her Mother, the First Lady of the Zaibatsu; was kind enough as it was. But her /Father/...now this was another matter entirely. The very thought of facing an enraged Xenon brought a nervous laugh as the Phoenix's face paled to an extent. It was one thing if they were facing one another in a training match or even a true duel. But to face off an enraged, overprotective Father was another thing entirely. It would be like signing a death warrant but it was something he would have to risk. Besides, surely the situation would not escalate to such a level. Or at least, hopefully not. Kouen was confident in his new abilities and massive improvement in overall power. But even he was not foolish enough to believe that he could take on a CEO of Xenon's level.../yet/. Hopefully, as her new boyfriend, he could talk this out diplomatically and appease whichever demands he might possibly be faced with. Though Lacie's enthusiasm for the situation was sort of cute; even if scary. She /wanted/ him to face her Family? Dear God, he'll need help for that. Though when she mentioned going on an adventure, he could only smirk. It seemed that the responsibility and weight of being the Captain of the Mystic Industries had finally begun to wear down onto her. Perhaps this would be a better date after-all, hmm? Wrapping one arm around her shoulder gently, he smiled happily as he spoke.
" Then let us satisfy that lust for adventure and exploration, shall we? This shall be perfect for our first date. Come. Allow us to go for a bit of sight-seeing. Though when we do return, I would greatly appreciate if you gave me a bit of a tour to find some of the others. I had greatly anticipated seeing them as well. "
Intending to venture out with her, Kouen proceeded to quickly leap from the rooftops, knowing she would follow. They had much to catch up on and for now--seemed to have all the time in the world. The beautiful sunset behind them only enhanced the gorgeous scenery as they exited. What irony...for this is the very pivotal day Fate had created.[Exit]

James stood gallantly on top of a near by building. He had watched the entire love filled moment of Kouen and Lacie. Of course, he didn't like moments like this, simply because it was like watching a soap opera. All it was missing some extremely chaotic twist. But he had to be there for his friend. Hell, he'd be there for him and rooting for him just as James was doing. Two years and his feelings never changed to herHe smirked and spoke to himself, "Way to go, man." he then, disappeared to the Divine Zaibatsu Town Square. [Exits]

✖ Hearing Kouen agree that their first date would be a adventures one got Lacie so excited she couldn't help but shiver. It hade been a good while since she went out on a good adventure. Without hesitation she agree to the deal with her Boyfriend. Though if you really thought about it, it wasn't really a deal even without him asking her Lacie would've shown him around and reunited him with everyone. It would be rude not to really and very selfish to keep him away from everyone. Then again it wasn't a bad thought it would keep him away from all the flirts in the division. 'Wait!, stop Lacie don't be a possessive girlfriend!' shaking her head side to side in a aggressive manor she couldn't help but agree with herself. For Kouen gave her no reason that he would look at other girls or anything of the sort, even if he would flirt with girls from time to time when they were younger. So there was no need for her to have such thoughts. Bringing herself from her thoughts Lacie found herself heading straight for a metal pole. Not sparing another second she quickly side stepped avoiding it completely. "Phew! I really need to stop over thinking crap..." Letting out a sigh of relief Lacie turned her gaze over to Kouen, well his back, and couldn't help but smile in excitement as they got closer and closer to the location of their 'adventurous' date. ✖

As the rain would sometimes fall ever so lightly, a girl with her hat tipped over on her head would walk along the rooftops of this city that she abandoned a long time ago. Finally, she returned after a long time of waiting at times, and she's no where excited to do anything at the moment with the inhabitants. Some would either be too scary, too strong, or too damn smarter than her just for her to play along without getting them getting serious and cutting her in half. It's not like she won't grow her pieces back though, so she'll be fine as long as her brain is still good. She twirled a little in the a circle along the rooftop, raindrops dampening her cropped tank top as her jacket was wide open. She held her tongue out, but gotten very little to make her give a refreshing sigh like when you see someone drink some good tasting tea or other drink. Falling onto her back as a small splash was made, she groaned. "Awww....man! So.....so....hungry.......I need food....BADD!!!" She cried as she held her "abs-lacking" stomach and could feel it rumble. Closing her eyes, she was depleted of energy for the time being. "Oh well....somebody might come and save me. For the meantime, I'll sleep till I die up here." She closed her eyes and instantly was snoring herself off to sleep.

Tatsu jumped from building to building. All this back and forth from Doma and the Zaibatsu was taking a toll on him. He jumped on a building and landed to rest. He looked over to a kid that sat there sleeping. Why would a kid be sleeping on a rooftop? Where was her family? Did she run a way or something. He slowly approached her and lightly moved her with his foot, trying to wake her up. "A rooftops not a good place to nap, kid. You could fall off." he said musingly folding his arms.

Aside from the fact, she was spilling drool from the corner of her mouth as she slept, a faint giggle escaped her lips. Snoring a little as she was sleeping, the presence of another person and approaching didn't phase her from waking up one bit. Until the fact that something pushed her lightly, her eyes squinted a little at the sight of a male saying something in a garbled up voice. "Hm? Who.....a kid?" She questioned as she rubbed her eyes. It stopped raining earlier, so she didn't know how long she slept. She yawned lazily, and scratched her belly before looking around. "I was tired from jumping and climbing....and soooo....soo....hungry? You got some bread I can eat? Anything." She said as her stomach rumbled a little.
Tatsu smirked a bit when she asked for food, and seeing her up close made him notice she was much more older than she looked. He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out 2 snickers and handed them to the girl gingerly. Though he was cool guy he also didn't have a problem killing someone without hesitation. He liked helping others. It made him feel good inside, there was any good left in him. He turned and looked around in the area and sensed one of his crows had been killed. He knew someone had been following him. He turned to the girl once again and spoke in a icy tone. "Can you fight? Or that is, can you defend yourself? I fear you may be in danger with me also." he said stretching. He never fought one on one with a good opponent in a while, so this would be a good way to test his limits with his Crows Curse power.

Carrot wasn't exactly focused on many things besides ending her hunger for a day now. She could last a lot longer if she has something to keep her energy up, so when the 'nice' man gave her 2 Snickers bars, she gasped and took them almost instantly and bowing her head lightly. "T-thank you! My favorite!" She said and she pulled on the wrapper to expose to the top of the chocolate bar and she bit into it. She just LOVES chocolate and sweets, and it makes her a lot more hyper and volatile when she gets really excited. She finished her first bar in almost a minute, but her head turned her head to face the male who's tone just changed and spoken something about her if she can fight. Looking around, she wondered for a bit before nodding slowly. "Mmhmm..." She verified to him. Danger is normal, but she's quite used to it now and being harmed specifically. Blowing up though, she would adore just to do. A grin sinisterly started appearing on her face as she giggled. "Danger? Danger......hehe....Danger danger danger.......No need for fear." She stated and started on her second bar now.

He tosses the dead crow at Tatsu's feet as it burns in black flames. He ignites his scythe in the same black fire. I truly hate those who can't keep out of the affairs of others. Prepare to be crushed. Grim rises into the air. ⌉

Tatsu saw how quickly his enemy had showed up and simply rolled his head back and spoke. "Why is it they always jump into the fight." he began. Then quickly grabbed his twin scythed pistols and pointed them at his enemy. "You could at least buy me a drink before you try killing me." he said rolling his head back around to where it normally sat and began firing rapidly at his wings. He looked over to the girl. "If you're gunna' do it now, kid." he said still firing at Grim.

Carrot's eyes moved from her feet all the way up at somebody who appeared rather threatening and somewhat scary in appearance. Glancing at the crow on the ground that was burning with flames as black as night, her eyes would take her back to her life in a "cage". She'd wince as she held her head before laughing as Tatsu when she was called a kid by him. "Wait." She would say as she ran out of the way from the two throwing attacks as each other. Grim is too far up high for her to attack with her baton. Sliding it out and extending it, she'd wait for the moment to strike when he land. Thus, she began running once more and threw a baton all the way up to Grim to try and hit his back. "Nice wings, didn't knew chickens could fly! Can you dance like one too, b*tch?" She'd taunt him as well.
