The way the mare gawked at his form drew a light smirk on Minos' face. There was this touch of inocence about her overall posture, the staring, the amazement at the grandeur of the occasion, it was just absolutely adorable. It'd most likely prove to be a challenge to restrain himself as the night unfolded, the last time he'd seduced such a delicious female has passed for far too long. Still, this was a stallion who enjoyed the challenge. Why else would he delve into this part of the land?
"It's alright, I'm used to the gaze of others. Glowing markings and four eyes aren't a very common sight. Though I'll admit a clothed mare isn't very common either." the stallion jested, hoping to make her more comfortable. Odds were the pure curiosity would give way to horrified terror or awed confusion in a few hours, but Minos did enjoy drawing out this state of ignorant bliss for as long as he could. "Daehisie of Dorthonion." the black stallion repeated, feeling it roll off his tongue. "A beautiful name. My name is Minos, Daehisie of Dorthonion. I'm very pleased to make your aquaintance." His head lowered into a small bow, in a very gentlemanly way that Minos found somewhat ironic in his mind's eye.

Paimon frowned and shook his head as he read her words. "That is horrible." The small smell of burning sand reached his nostrils and Paimon looked down, to see that in his irritation of the ones that scorned her, he was burning the sand. He kept the flame low, sighed and looked up at her, his coal eyes, so much like his father's, burning softly in the light. "I can understand why you would resist. So you say sound? Is there anything special you do, instead of talking?" He asked.

Now that they'd been brought to her attention, Ca stared at the stallion's flames curiously. It was so interesting. She shook her head to his question, then erased her previous writing to reply: "I've never had to. My adopted family simply knows what I want to say. If I need something told, one of them translates for me." She lifted her head, staring curiously into those coal-colored eyes. They were interesting--Paimon was interesting. She'd met many strange Azrien, but this was exotic. He could control flames that erupted from his body! She couldn't help writing one of the questions that were brewing in her mind. "Do those flames hurt you?"
Paimon smiled at the female. She really was intriguing to say the least and he was enjoying her company. "No, they do not hurt. See?" He demonstrated by letting the flames dance all over his body, harming nothing around him, but giving off more than the subtle heat that already emanated off of him. "I can let them harm things around me, or let them dance across even you, without harming you. It was a gift that has been passed down through my family." He said. "Where are you from, Ca? Do you mind me calling you Ca?"
Sebastian made his way over to the food counter, deciding that he could use some food. Paimon was hitting it off well with some leaf colored female, and they had moved off somewhere else. As he approached the counter, the boy looked behind him, in cautious habit, to look at the faces and see if he was around. Not seeing the tormentor he turned back to the food and tried to decide what to eat.

He could keep it from hurting her too? Too bad Sumac didn't have a trick like that for his poisonous leaves. Ca nodded in acceptance of the nickname, then turned to answer the other question: "Father says that my herd was in the neutral lands. I don't remember it. I've lived in the south for most of my life."
Smiling Kev nodded to the gentleman, butler but he was still respectful, offered a drink. Taking a drink while listening to the draft speak with him he sipped it and finished it off quickly. It was a rather tasty cider. It warmed him right up for certain. "Well sir you are doing a great job of serving drinks. Thank you very much." He smiled at the butler before grinning at the draft. "We would be honored to have you travel with us. You can see what we do and what I do with my bonded. Perhaps you can join in our gypsy dances and fesitivities." Laughs feeling alot more relaxed, joyful. "Perhaps....Why don't we dance?" He asked the draft stallion grinning with mischief.
Zephri: "Really? I'd love to dance! That is something I'm pretty good at." Zephri says happily and begins to dance aside Kev "Hahaha but don't expect anything exotic, just the commons style of dance from these parts"

Laughing Kev danced with the draft stallion, matching to his steps to not make it complicated for him. Then again perhaps he could teach him a few moves. "No how about you try something exotic. As Kali says, it's all in the hips." The painted stallion began to move his hips, his tail swishing from side to side smoothly and stepping to his own natural beat. "You dance very well!"

The gypsy grinned wickedly at Miss Softpad. "Now I wouldn't say that, my lady. I'm very sure that you will dance like an angel." Leaning close to her ear. "If you like you can step on my feet and I'll do the dancing for us." He breathed softly, his lips brushing lightly against her earlobe before pulling away with a smile. "Either way I intend to dance with the prettiest young lady at this ball." The only one that really did interact with him. Not that he was going to pout or anything, even if he did pull off a pout really good.
Mentally shaking himself he motioned for them to go onto the dance floor where a lively waltz was playing. "Come Miss Softpad, we'll be the envy of everyone here."
Al held one child in each arm as her searched for his troublesome wife. He adored her free spirit but she was hard to keep track of. His darling liked to be out and about.

Dea soon saw her husband's form and saw their two little ones nestled in his arms. She took ahold of the edge of her dress and walked quickly over to him, knowing her Azrein would see where she was going.
"Oh my darling, it is so very good to see you. I hope the twins have not been any trouble for you,"Dea spoke, kissing each child on the head, then capturing her husband's lips.
Yvar chuckled. "I'm not familiar with these parties either, so I guess we'll just have to wander about and decide what we want to do." At her question, he nodded. "He'll be fine. If something's wrong, he knows where we are."
"I wonder why he didn't want to come with us today." Eir frowned slightly. "I could have sworn he would have liked these sorts of things. Though I could be mistaken." The elf was still learning about Mico, as she was taking things slow with being bonded once more. After losing Aurori, she hadn't been ready to just jump into a new relationship like that. In fact she spent a good long time just trying to avoid anyone and everything, until she 'met' Yvar at Halloween. Thinking about the Halloween event she leaned her head against his shoulder and gave a small sigh. "Let's hope that this time we have a good time?"

Iris mostly kept to herself as soon as she landed attempting to appear invisible if that were ever possible. True, she had always had issues conversing and socializing, but she was hoping that tonight she could be able to cure that social ailment. However, she was still caught by surprise at the sudden greeting from the large, golden, and floofy male. She had no room to talk, however, as her mane and tail were very full of hair themselves. Iris blushed more so out of embarrassment than anything as her wings shifted upon her back. "...T-Thank you. Landing can be difficult...so I appreciate the compliment..." Her smile was small but there as her dark eyes stared into his teal ones. He was indeed a golden child with luscious dark brown locks that seemed to encircle his frame. His markings reminded her of jungle cats that she had seen in her travels before she had come to King Azreth's domain. Her nostrils flared as the sweet scents of perfume from the environment around them seemed to waft about. Did that have something to do with the whole celebration? "....Excuse the dumb question but....what is this party for?" Her head tilted in question, bangs slightly hiding parts of her face, her eyes peaking out from the 'cracks' in her bangs.

Shadow gave a brief snort of laughter as he nodded keeping close to the mare. "Of course! But there were some things such as you were quote the hermit. Reminded me of Athari so as the reason she is here." The stallion gazed over at his human companion with a loving teasing which she met with a playful glare mockingly reaching for her arrows. "I would hate for one of my arrows to find its way into your arse, Shadow." Athari teased then turned toward Reoakee with an interested gaze. Her head tilted a little at the other's dress. Did she undress herself again? The Amazon mentally sighed knowing one of these days she would have to indeed invest in actual clothing rather than make it herself. Without hesitation, she reached out and took Reo's hand to accept her greeting giving it a firm shake. "As Shadow said, my name is Athari. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Reoakee.." The human girl gave a fanged smile and a wink adjusting her quiver and bow so that it wouldn't fall off her shoulder too terribly much. Her head turned toward Luin, the beautiful mare that she was. "I see now why Shadow was so damn determined to get here. You are quite the beauty, dear Lady." At Luin's remarks about her, Athari only gave a gentle chuckle running her fingertips through her hair. "Yes well bears are still dangerous even with our warm and fuzzies." Athari looked over to Reo and gave a wink of support for the other female. She then expressed there was nothing wrong with one being true to herself alerting Reo that she could take whatever Luin threw at her as Shadow continued to nuzzle and preen over his beloved. It was obviously that he was completely devoted to his Lady Moon. Athari laughed gently at Luin's comment of her bonded's cooking. She shook her head waving her hand, "You should give Reo more slack. Cooking is difficult. 'Tis why I have others do it for me if I can help it....which most of the time I can't...so...I usually eat charred and inedible things..." Athari teased as Shadow snorted toward her to behave. Athari scoffed and waved him away telling him to pay attention to his filly and quit pestering her. Shadow obliged. "Oh I will not have it! My dear shall not be abused and neglected for I shall shower her with all the love in all the world which is more than all the stars in the heavens above us." He then turned back to her with a smile gazing lovingly into her eyes. "Have I ever told you how beautiful you look, my darling? Exceptionally exquisite. I dare another stallion to attempt to steal you from me. I would fight and give my life for you, my beloved Arwen Mallen."
Athari turned over to Reo sticking out her tongue a little. "Maybe he really does need an arrow in his arse."

Paimon read intently at her words that she had lived in the south most of her life. "I too had connections in the south that I have since severed. What is your dad's name, perhaps I know him."
Daehisie looked back into those deep red orbs. “No it’s not a common sight, but I think your coat is amazing and your eyes are incredible. I am simply sorry that I was staring so long without speaking.” She looked at the garments on her legs. “My garments are soft and I quite enjoy them. They were a gift from a friend of my mother who had some contact with humans at some point.” She beamed at him. Her garments were her pride and joy along with her volumous tail. When he spoke her name she had to stop herself from taking a step toward him. She didn’t know why she had the reaction or desire to be near him. It was as though he was mesmerizing her, but that was just silly. He just gave off this aura that she found comforting. There was still that little tickle in the back of her mind telling her something was off but it was so easy to ignore while standing before Minos. He was so very regal and gallant. She found it enduring. “It’s a pleasure to meet you as well Minos.” The air was warm and Daehisie was glad that she and Minos were a way away from the large group of Azerin in the party. It would undoubtedly be to warm were they in the midst of all the bodies.

She giggled at his comment knowing that she was not the most graceful bell of the ball. She shivered when he whispered in her ear. Reaching a hand up she held it to ear amazed at how his whisper made the hair on her delicate rabbit ears stand up. It felt odd. She giggled not sure if he was serious about her standing on his feet or not. It was a nice offer but even though she had a slim frame she was worried she might step on him wrong and hurt him. “If you want the prettiest young lady at the ball then keep looking, but if you’ll settle for me I would be happy to go for a whirl with you.” She placed her hand on Cameron’s arm gently ready to follow him out onto the floor for the waltz.

“An arrow in that end would still let him talk of all of those feelings and chase her down, aim for the legs.” Reo winked at Athari. She heard Luin giggle and coo with Shadow. “We could leave these two bears to wrestle together while you and I go count stars for each little bit of love that you promised me.” Luin looked at Shadow with a completely innocent face compared to the suggestive tone she used. The result of that was Reo nearly choking on her drink for a moment on the drink she had just brought up to her lips. After a moment of trying to find oxygen again Reo rolled her eyes and made a shooing motion with one hand to wave the pair off. “Really it’s fine to get all hot and bothered, but could you not do it right next to me?” She smiled at Athari finding that she liked the other woman. It had nothing to do with the fact that she couldn’t cook either, well maybe a little. “As for you and I perhaps we could take advantage of the fact that a good number of others did some cooking so that we don’t have too?” She gestured off toward the food tables with a glee in her eye and her stomach telling her it should have some company besides the drink she had claimed. She would probably stick out like a sore thumb in her travel clothes but she really didn’t care. The holiday was enough of a pain without trying to fit in when she didn’t’ feel like it.
On her way to the table she saw Mei heading out to the dance floor with a man. That surprised Reo more than she found herself feeling less down after meeting Athari. Moving off toward the food Reo spotted some strawberries and moved over to find them half covered in chocolate. Wondering what they would taste like she picked one up and bit into it. The chocolate cracked but she managed not to drop any. It was delicious she hummed in pleasure and kept devouring it until there was nothing left but a green little stem. Licking her lips she moved onto the next one. “Better than I would have thought. The combination is very sweet.” Reo had a small weakness for sweet things so this was right up her ally. In her mind she could hear Luin gushing over Shadow. That was one thing that was a bit too sweet for her taste. Reo didn’t close the link between them but she narrowed it down so not as much of the situation would get through to her.

Following Dea Eri grinned when he saw Al. He noded his head at the man. He snuck up next to the little ones so he could gently nudge them with his muzzle. Human children were very cute when they were small. Ugly in their own way, but cute in that way too. He could see a lot of Dea and Al in both of the children even as small and undeveloped as they were.
