Conversations fluttered past her, most of non importance or of nothing new; after all, making clothing wasn't her only job like so many of the other denizens of the Silver Kingdom. The small thin girl's passion was really in cleaning, so being a maid in various houses really got her the juicy gossip. It was hardly a living though, and her knack of sewing was what brought her more physical income.

It also brought her more face to face with the majority of the populous, as every Market Day did. Olivia blinked for a moment, brought out of her bought of staring - she had been watching a couple a few stalls over and was curious what they were talking about (well, after she had heard some really loud gentleman wander near them loudly proclaiming.. something or other). Someone.. was talking to her.

It wasn't an uncommon thing, but she had been keeping to herself for the most part today.

"Oh," she nearly whispered, turning towards Molan. Her blue eyes locked onto him, only briefly glancing at what he was most likely referring to before sticking with him. "Oh, sometimes... I suppose, yes. Though, I lot of times I don't really catch that I am, I just.. look at things a lot." There were so many people milling about, especially on Market Days, that it was hard to jumble the mess of clothing details. Words were one thing, appearance was another.

His gaze was more fixed on the delicate stitching embroidered into a piece than the woman. Though any stare, if steady drew a look with time, and as such he lent her a moment for such as he spoke before turning to his casual browsing. It was true, the days such as this lead to a variety of options, even just their fellow members who returns from travels for the Market. Perhaps soon he'd find himself as one of them, seeming out of place in his own lands.

The thought alone almost made him chuckle, but Olivia's presence stifled it as he merely gave her a nod in response as she sifted through things. "It is effective enough." He replied, aiming for something that might fulfill the roll of pleasing those, as the Trash King put it, pompous types from the Gold Kingdom. If he was to garner their interest, he should blend in well enough, to a degree. Being an exotic foreign thing, that understood their ways would be best.

Something as regal as they all hoped to be. "Edric, do you have anything for such a place? White and gold robes?" He gestured to the simple white robes he wore briefly before casting another look over the wares. "I've heard they like red as well?"

The staring hadn't really stopped, even after he started to shift through the clothing on the line beside her. Her blue eyes followed him, wordlessly as he rattled on and even a few brief moments after he asked her a question. It was like her mind didn't register it at first, or she was thinking about how to answer it. Either way, she was silent until she hummed a note.

"Edric," The girl repeated. The Gold Kingdom. Here steady gaze flew from him, incidentally as he was even gesturing to himself, to look to the other side of her little vending booth. Robes. Robes. "Like really long shirts..." she muttered to herself. The girl pushed herself forward towards the rack, her small hands getting to the fabrics first to push aside a few pairs of pants. There was a robe hidden between a few articles of clothing, but more blue than gold.

Olivia pulled it out and up to him still, "I don't usually.. I think this is all I have," she replied in a cool tone. "I have some gold sashes, I think." Maybe that would do? She'd never been to The Gold Kingdom before .... well, much less any of them so it was hard to say exactly which ones would benefit the other land.

What do you mean? This is groundbreaking stuff, man!

His expression was rather flat at the constant stare, not sure if she found him odd, or just had nothing better to do. He didn't bother offering it a reply though, merely going about his work of finding something... worthwhile. He wasn't having too much luck. He preferred loose clothing, longer and a bit more flowing. Which meant the typical shirt and pants duo didn't fit his tastes. Alas, being the odd one out wasn't of much use in a kingdom like theirs. How he loved it, how he loathed it. Mixed feelings at all times.

Particularly today it seemed, as a shard of doubt reared it's head again at the thought of loathing his kingdom. No, it was nothing. He brushed it aside once more, following the voice of the girl as she trailed off to another part. "That... is one way to put it I suppose." He replied at her description of the clothing, brows knitting at what she found. Blue seemed a terrible choice, he'd heard of extravagance in those lands. Blue seemed too mellow, as if it would drown him out. Or make him stick out like a sore thumb as the only one not as bright as the sun. Either or.

Hopefully his expression was enough to silence the thought of offering the item further than she had as he shifted to look for a sash she'd spoken of, and perhaps just something made of a fine cloth in white. "Perhaps." He added as a final though, digging his way through a pile again, thought neatly. Leaving anyone's stall a mess was just bad manners. Even if you did intend to buy.

"-No you watch where you're going!" The loud clatter of more pots and pans might have attracted the attention of some, though the character in mind took almost no time at all to sweep all his lost items together in both arms and bodily carry them away from the fair grounds.

He did however, leave a long trail of cards in his wake.

Anyone could pick them up really, and some people already were, the Fair grounds enforcers, sighing as they swept a pile of the cards to one side.

Watching his expression over the blue robe, and him turning to look at her table of sashes, made it obvious it wasn't in the cards today. Too bad, it was a rather neat piece, wasn't typical of what people of the Silver Kingdom wore ... and obviously not something the Gold one did either. Olivia pushed back the pants again to place the article of clothing back where she had found it. Another customer perhaps, someone was bound to like it.

If she remembered it was there again. Well, she'd find it when she packed up. Maybe.

Olivia moved herself back towards the middle of her area, as she had been when Molan had started talking to her. She watched him, as she watched everyone, for a moment, looking at the items on the table. He at least had the decency to be neat about it, and not just throw things around. "I heard the Gold Kingdom is a very tidy place," she told him as he went about his digging. As if it really meant anything. Well, maybe it would.

"There should be one with a little bit of orange," she then added as he continued. "If that's okay," well, maybe it would help if she looked as well.

Watching Trash King leave the area, Rosmiera couldn't help but shake her head. Maybe he was crazy after all, and she almost stop him so she could ask him a question or two. Turning away, she shakes her head before a few people near the ground make her blink twice. Pausing in her step, she glance down as she spies a few strange black cards all on the ground. Were they dropped by the Trash King? Her brow arch slightly as she carefully kneels down to pick a card up to look it over.

Numbers, what did they mean?

Looking down at a couple more of the cards, just to make sure they weren't different she stood back up as she glance around. Whatever these were, they certainly were drawing attention from everyone.

Tucking her card away for now, she turns back towards the marketplace. Her dark eyes searching once more for the familiar face. He had to be here, she knew he didn't really have a choice at this point. Not to mention she go find him, if he didn't show up soon.

Yes, certainly not to day. Perhaps if he was ever going to another realm.

From what he knew they were extravagant, but.. regal? They didn't like gaudy, just elegant. He wasn't entirely certain himself. He merely knew that what he was wearing would stick out like a proverbial sore thumb. Which, he wasn't sure if it would be good or not. He wanted their respect so they would consider his wares worthy of their time, but if they were as proud and... well pompous as he'd been told. Then would they merely dismiss him without a second thought as he was? He grimaced at the thought, thinking of the failure that would follow if such occurred.

He couldn't allow such a thing to pass.

He turned to look at the mention of orange in time to see the rather noise creation wander by, his mouth opening to say something, but closing again instantly after as he was gone once more. Paper fluttered along after him as the white haired man wandered over, kneeling down curiously to pick up a few of the sheets before they were taken away. "Curious." He mumbled under his breath, looking over to the woman he'd just entirely ignored in the momentary outburst of noise. "Cards." He help one up, offering it to her as both matched entirely down to the number, looking at it confused. He hadn't the faintest as to what it meant.

"First that comment... and now these?" Perhaps he was a lunatic, but there went that sinking feeling of dread he'd been trying to hold down bubbling up again. Rearing it's head like the nasty beast it was as his brows knit.

"...miss, what is your opinion of the King's absence these days?"

Thannas had, from the moment he had arisen this fine day, that he would be deciding upon his course of action, picking out a new kingdom to shadow.

It was a matter that he had thought upon at some length, and had eventually decided that he would traipse Red-wards...the very whisperings he'd heard entrancing the dark-haired youth, speaking of dreams and illusions. Than, after all, was quite fond of dreams. If the dreams of the denizens of that kingdom held any such wonders as his own imaginings did, then he thought that he would be quite content there. At least for a time. Oh he didn't intend to say! Oh goodness, goodness no! He wanted to see ALL the kingdoms before he was through! With a happy, trilling noise, he dashed through the hallways, using his small stature to his advantage so that he could weave between the denizens of the Silver Kingdom.

In his excitement, he almost missed the cacophony of dinnerware hitting the ground, and he winced for the surely dented state of the pots and pans, the slight boy something of a cook, one of the things beyond gardening that he was excessively good at. Paddering towards the commotion, he noted that the cause of the calamity was already retreating. Mind, he'd left a few things behind. "He was all dropping the cards around..." Than mused, bending to pick up one of his own.

Almost thoughtlessly he tucked it in his pocket, adding to the collection of odds and ends that he'd gathered in habitual curiosity. He'd sort them out later, once he had a spare moment. Even the simplest of things could be a treasure, after all. "Ah, ah, but Than does not look good in reeeeeeeeeed...." He whuffled rather unhappily at the thought, but maybe...maaaaaaaaaybe he wouldn't have to wear the color, even if he was going to be gallivanting around their kingdom.

Bobbing his head in a private nod, only Than in tune to his absolutely enrapturing mental conversation, he made his way (only a touch more slowly now), to the scribe, so that he could stand on tiptoe to lean over and sign for his choice. "Red is sounding like an adventure!" He stated delightedly, "Than has always thought an adventurelike would be veryveryverynice."

But youngling, adventures are only adventures if you aren't in the middle of them.

Than's going Red Quadrant. I mean Red Kingdom. I WELCOME CHAOS.

Arynek didn't determine which kingdom she would like to shadow, all the kingdoms around them seemed so different from each other. The girl was now wandering around the Market, with some cats following her around. They are not owned by her, just they love her. A loud clatter scared the cats and drew Arynek's attention. She went to have a look and found cards with numbers on them.

Cards? Numbers?

They did look like those they play from the King's Curse, but those didn't have a series of code-like number. The girl picked up one and put it inside her cloak, maybe her parents may know?

The strange 'King' is going away while leaving a trail of strange cards. Interested, Rei picks up one of them.

It looks just like a regular card, befitting for use in King's Curse game...but instead of characters or usual symbols, there are string of numbers written on that black card.

"5865-5464366?"

All the cards scattered shares the same string of numbers on them. Rei pondered for a while about what meaning that string of character holds. A simple observation tells him that that string of numbers is composed by five kinds of number: 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8. Is there any meaning?

"S...B...G...S-SAGAEGG? No, that wouldn't make much sense-"
Even after turning those numbers into letters, it still didn't make sense. So Rei decided to pocket that card and look for more clues about that 'King'-

Maybe residents from another Kingdom would know something about this?

*BUMP*

"Oh! Sorry about that." said Rei apologetically; his usual stealth and agility against crowd is useless when there's something in his mind-namely, the card. He offered a hand to a girl who he knocked down without knowing...while suppressing his curiosity about why did all the cats around him started hissing and making scary faces?

Sigrún had almost sold all of her wares, the only thing she had left was the smaller of the pheasants and some of her assorted pelts. Hearing the crash of pans she turned her head slightly to see what the commotion was. With all the bustle going on she really couldn't tell.

Tired of standing in one spot she quickly packed up what was left, she could always use her items to barter with later she went to make her rounds in the market. Shouldering her pack she abandoned her place and went to investigate. Sigrún never liked staying still for too long anyways. Unfortunately by the time she reached the spot she though the loud crash had come from there wasn't anything going on. With a disappointed shrug she glanced over back towards the busy markets stalls and caught the gimlet of something out of the corner of her eye. Sigrún bent down and picked up a card. She turned it over in her hand slowly taking in both sides.
"Strange" she muttered but tucked the card away for safekeeping before turning to head back down the market stalls.

Hungry? Why yes, yes he was. It may have been that he was always hungry, or maybe he just really liked to eat. It was how he dealt with pretty much everything, if he could fit it in his mouth, he was going to eat it. After all, if he ate it, he didn't have to deal with it, right?

A smile as his head turned to the one he had spoken. He inhaled deeply, the meat certainly did smell delicious. No, no Rex, we do not just take and scarf the food, be nice! He was trying, he really really was. Instead he only nodded.

It was then his attention was caught by a movement near him, his head turned curiously at the trail of cards strewn across the ground. Hmm... Bending down, he picked one up, and contemplated it as hard as his tiny little mind could. The question he contemplated? Was it edible.

He was a blacksmith and a hunter... but you probably wouldn't guess that by his appearance. He was a smaller sort of man, lean, and didn't seem to possess the appropriate musculature necessary for the task of such hardy jobs. But he kept himself covered up for the most part, asides from a wide neck shirt so as not to feel too claustrophobic. Small bone wings adorned on his back kept folded only flaring or flexing in a sort of idle manner, such as one with a tail might leisurely sway it without really thinking. Vaska was currently stationed at his booth in the busy market, setting up and tending to his wares, providing plenty of examples of his handiwork with metal, as well as pelts and meats from his hunting trips. In fact, he had a thick fluffy wrap around his shoulders that was of a prized creature he'd been lucky enough to catch. The beast had been larger than himself, and that showed with how it often sagged to rest in the crooks of his elbows, the back resting just along his lower back. But he was fully concentrated, blue eyes on black scelera sliding from one object to the next on the wide set table he had out.

When he was satisfied with his set up, the young man turned to see if there were any wandering eyes that might have noticed his goods, sleek white ponytail slipping over a shoulder in the motion of turning his head.. however.... his attention was grabbed. Just a few paces in the street from his stall were some cards scattered about. He noticed a few people already taking some, and he was intrigued to see what they were all about. Stepping out just a few strides, he bent and plucked one of the small pieces of parchment to inspect, turning it frontwards and back to make sure he didn't miss anything. It... seemed cryptic...

Whilst mulling over what this sort of scribbling could mean, he overheard a few ladies that passed by whispering hushed words to one another, his pointed ears picking up on the low voices,

"She made a terrible choice, and keeps in the Observatory her most terrible secret..."

Instantly his eyes snapped to follow the pair, watching them warily. Were they referring to the king...? his gaze stayed on them for a good long while before he turned to head back to his stand, inspecting the little scrap of paper once more before tucking it into a pocket.

People were discussing about kingdoms to shadow. Gold? A kingdom owned by humans, heavily ornated everywhere. Arynek though she might learn some of their fashions and be inspirated? Green? A greenland exists harmoniously with the nature, sound peaceful enough. Black? A place which daytime never visit, full of shadows, yet, she also heard that their citizens were master craftspeople......Violet? She had no idea, really. She had heard rumors that the kingdom was a jail itself, but one thing she was sure, it was in her favourite color of purple. Blue? A high-tech city filled with mafia, Arnyek wasn't sure and it didn't seem familiar at all. Red? A kingdom stresses the importance on traditions and rituals, but from images from books, she knew it'a a wonderful place. Last but not least, White? Arnyek knew it was a large large spaceship and she was interested in their anti-gravity technology and robots.

It was a very hard decision to pick one, the girl held the card she picked up with a frown. She looked at the little gemstones she always kept in her little velveteen pouch. Oh nice! She got an idea. She sat down on a bench nearby, drew out an amber, emerald, obsidian, amethyst, sapphire, ruby and a diamond, put them into another little pouch and ready to draw from it. Because of her carelessness, one of them rolled onto the floor so she tied up the pouches and chased after the tiny gemstone.

Ouch! She got knocked down and fell onto the ground. The girl heard a boy's voice and looked up, taking the boy's hand. "I am alright." She replied, dusting her clothing a bit while putting the gemstone into her pouch. "It's alright, it's alright, calm down." She picked up one of the cats and fondled it. She gave the stranger a shy smile. "Sorry about that. They are a bit over-reacting."
