The houndour licked Zak's face and stuck out its tongue stupidly. Oh boy, this wasn't the smartest one of the pack.
(( If you are stuck in the trap, or have made a try at saving someone in the trap, you may try to catch houndour. Giving you a chance to post/roll if you haven't done so yet. ))

Cara called up a response to Zaki. "Oh Im just perfect. I'm making some dinner, planning on watching a movie with my pal here..." She said being totally sarcastic, "How do you think I'm doing Zak?" She said, with a slight bite to it, rolling her eyes. She turned her attention back to the houndour, trying to figure out how to lure it over to her...without having it fall in the pit.

Tyg raced through the forest following Peanut who seemed in a hurry. They were greated by a chaotic scene. "What happened? Does someone else need some help?"

"At least your not hurt." he responded to Cara's comment. Zak giggled as the houndoor licked his face. It was quite cute. He reached out his hand in attempt to pet the bone headed canine.

"Is there?" he asked, looking over his shoulder in time to see it lick Zak. He wondered if it was already owned.

Peanut edged close to the trap and Tyg followed, "We'll see what we can do...:"
Tyg grumbled as she slipped and fought to keep from being trapped herself. She circled hoping to find a better angle to try again...

Cara reached for the offered hand and then helped Lexis pull her up. When she got up Cara knelt on her knees next to the woman. She smiled and nodded her thanks. "Thanks a ton. I think I'm cursed to keep getting stuck in holes." She said with a laugh before turning her attention to the wild pup who had happened upon them. She got up and walked over to where Zak and the houndour were and knelt down next to them. "Hey there cutie, what are you doing here?" Cara said in a calm and soft voice.

"Yeah, I still need to get out of this pit." Lizzie said. If only Psywater wasn't paralyzed, she would be able to fly out of here with no problem at all. "And it would be nice if that could happen before that Houndour decides that I'm dog food."
Another trainer had popped by and tried to help her up but again, her hand was too far away for her to grab.

On his way back to the campsite to get help, he ran across a large number of people missing about in a forest, including sounds from down in another pit. Looking down, he saw someone had fallen in. "Hold on, I got you," he said. Playing it careful, he lay down on the ground for better balance, then reached into the pit. He was able to get hold of the girl and pull her out.

Lexis unbalanced and slipped into the pit with a omph. "Well, this is disappointing." She grumbled and sighed. "Pits are nasty things, aren't they."

It stared at the one still in the hole, looking sad.

Peanut sparked to create some more light.
Oh no one of the other would be rescuers fell in, but it looked like Lizziewas being pulled to safety by another.
