Freya kept her heels there even as she leaned in, and realized just how dangerous a slip would be. So she pulled away, giving him a cheeky smile that had her tongue sticking out between her teeth. The food was waiting for her after all, and she leaned over him completely to grab it, bumping into him as much as possible. Because it was important to bother him at a time like this, in a conversation like this.

Plopping back down into her seat with her meatloaf and her chips and her water, she started opening things. Pop went the bag. Twist went the cap. Crackle went the plastic cover.

And then the smell of microwaved meatloaf hit her, and her face turned white with absolute dread. All jokes were off, as her stomach turned - that smell was just too much. She wasn't ready for it.

Her white face turned green, and she slowly pushed the meatloaf away.

"No good." She repeated, while trying to hold her breath. "I think I was maybe a little too ambitious. I love meatloaf.. but this is very powerful. Ach.."

Try something else, huh? The first thing she went for was her chips. They were delightfully not disgusting, and as soon as she began munching she felt better. Her face turned back to a normal color, and she gulped down her water happily.

Then she eyed Kettil's sandwich..

Well he did say to try something else.

She started flickering her gaze back and forth.. from Kettil, to his sandwich, to Kettil, to his sandwich..

When Kettil handed her the sandwich, Freya's eyes watered up as though she'd just been given the gift of life. She leaned forward and her lips brushed softly against his cheek, lingering far too long as she kissed him, not once, but multiple times. "I loves yeh." She whispered against his skin, her nose pinching up in delight before she finally leaned back into her seat and brought the sandwich to her face.

Edible. Not smelly. Still had meat. Life was good.

She took a big bite, and sunk into her seat happily as she chewed.

Freya took another bite, and savored it. She ate slowly, and each bite was chewed so many times, that Kettil was done with his meal before she'd gotten through half the sandwich. In fact, eating half the sandwich made her feel so full, that she had to stop. She put it down, and sighed happily, patting her tummy. She rested her head against his shoulder as he fret about their plans, but his idea had her content expression fading.

"Mm." She muttered the sound thoughtfully, her voice low. "No hotels. Let's.. let's just stay with your parents the whole time. We'll have plenty of time together again when we come home." Her lips jutted down for a moment, as she stared out the window, and watched the scenery fly by.

Freya's introspective moment was ruined by Kettil's delightfully inappropriate comment. She gasped, turning away from the window to look at him with an exaggerated look of shock. "Why, Mr. Blacke, I don't thinks yeh has proper intentions with me!" She cried out, her attention now fully on him again. It seemed impossible to remain in a bad mood around Kettil, which was why she loved spending as much time with him as possible. He always made her smile, even at the worst of moments.

"That sounds like fun." She wanted to see everything that meant something to Kettil. Hunting grounds sounded dangerous, which of course meant she was excited to go for it. "No corners. Remember? I wants teh sees everything!" Her hands flailed out at the words.

Kettil's promise was starting to plant a seed of impatience within her. She'd initially planned to be completely chaste while she visited with his family, but he wasn't doing a very good job of keeping her thoughts clean. Her skin started to flush a healthy shade of red, and she turned her head so that his lips met her ear. "Okays." She murmured playfully. "Tells me a few things yeh intends for me, Mister Blacke. I am curious about yehr intentions."

It was a terrible idea. Getting her all riled up on the train was just asking for trouble. But she figured it couldn't hurt to just talk about it for a minute.

..Right?

He had a good point. She wasn't going to concede it to him.

"Nope." Freya breathed out shakily. "I am not anticipating anything at all because I don't thinks yeh actually has anything planned. So. Oh wells, is okay, I knew yeh were just all talks anyway." She went back to looking out the window.

But the expression that faintly mirrored back through it was absolute smugness.

It was enough.

"Okay okay. OKAY. I gets it. Yehr terrible." She turned to kiss him, stealing a quick peck on the lips before turning back to look out the window. Now, she watched the scenery with a calm sort of content, feeling the warmth of his body beside her as it soothed her and kept her from getting anxious. She reached out slowly and took his hand, pulling it up into her lap and clutching it between her smaller, cold hands. She tried to warm her fingers up with his heat.

The world flew by in shades of gold and white. Her eyelids fluttered as she let the colors meld into one another and swirl into unrecognizable shapes.
