His soul proved that, it looked much more complex than a normal wolf's.  Max, what a perfect name! Iko said, scratching behind Max's ears. Niko sat and also pet him He's a bit strange, but I like himIko looked at Lucian and asked He has to be a smart dog, does he know any cool tricks?

 Lucian chuckled lightly at the girl "Oh you have no idea." He said, referring to how he could talk and understand humans. He stopped petting Max with them and stood up, looking around at the deck of the ship.

Max
 Max's tail thumped repeatedly against the deck as it wagged. Yes, why? He asked curiously. It seemed almost everyone had decided to remain on-deck. He watched as Trey walked off with the rat. He warily watched the other rats going about their tasks. He hoped they would leave everyone alone, though somehow he doubted it. He sat protectively between the two girls and the rats as they walked across the deck, growling in the back of his throat every time one came too close.

Lucian looked at Max when he heard his voice in his head "Because, I just need to send a quick message to Atticus, nothing threatening or whatever." He thought to him, smiling. He had an idea, one that wasn't necessarily smart but might be fun for both himself and Atticus.

Rat Crew The rat led Trey to a room inside the ship. It was open and sparsely furnished with barely enough beds for all of them. The beds were decent enough though they were nothing to write home about. The rat turned and walked out once he had led Trey into the room, closing the door behind him.

Max
Max didn't like the idea of Lucien and Atticus having a private conversation, worried it would probably lead to a fight. But against his better judgment he opened a link between Atticus and Lucien. They would both hear a slight buzz in their head as the link opened.

chadjo97 Lucian closed his eyes and focused, he had never had a link with anyone except Max. He focused on Atticus and finally got his thoughts through "Testing testing, can you hear me?" He asked. Before waiting for an answer he thought to Atticus again "Listen, this is Lucian and I know you don't really like me and all but I have an idea. It's been a while since I've had some real fun considering how serious Max is, and how he keeps me in check. So I was thinking, we should wait until everyone else goes to bed and then start a fight with the rats. I think it could be really fun." He thought to him, excited that he may have found a person that although didn't like him, would be willing to have some fun and start a fight.

If you are trying to speak with me privately, that must mean that it is very important. Just what is it that you wish to say to me, Lucian?" Atticus thought as he kept his composure and just sat there, pretending that he was just watching everyone. Once he had finished listening to Lucian's proposal, a smile would appear on his face, "You wish to start a fight with these weak creatures?" he asked. Lucian smiled faintly "Well it isn't like we are going to be killing them, just you know, beating them up." He thought to him, keeping the link open but not really communicating because he had nothing else to say.

She started to grow impatient, wanting to do more than just stand there and wait, there was little she could do about this though since she would most likely get a earful from the captain if she so much as said a syllable wrong.  Trey laying down on the bed looking up the ceiling I could Die Tomorrow Trey looked down at his pocket watch showing a small picture of what everything was like before He went to Dwma I left everything Behind that day As darkness will soon overrun the world knowing that a few pieces of hope can stop it A small voice in his head whispered What am I thinking I'm not going Die not until my goal is complete im going to make a death scythe Trey's said not knowing That The Rat's might hear him as he slowly drifted of the sleep

Max closed the link to Atticus. I smell a group of rats congregating near the mast of the ship, he told him, eager to beat up the rats as well. Let's take it over there. I don't want Niko or Iko to be put in any danger. He began thumping his tail against the deck again as the girls petted him. He looked over at Shira briefly, wondering what she was thinking and how she felt about the whole situation. He could smell her frustration and annoyance though he didn't know why she would feel that way.

Rat Crew As Trey continued to sleep, slowly the door to his room would open. Seven rats entered the room one right after the other. They stood by his bed, some holding cutlasses, some holding black-powder pistols and some holding wicked looking knives. They watched him silently as the door closed behind them, their beady red eyes gleaming in the darkness. Slowly they advanced towards his bed, weapons at the ready.
