Family huh? That much is quite true. A family that saw to every last decadent and sometimes depraved little desire. Life simply wasn't worth living if she couldn't have all she worked so hard to earn. Rin's heels clacked softly against the flooring as she approached the stage. It was quite possible the woman should have washed up a bit from her last... uh... job. Blood still stained her otherwise white apron, at least it kept her dull blue knee-length ruffled dress quite safe underneath.

"I apologize for my appearance... I was busy.. uh.. extracting some royal blue from the gut of someone who forgot to pay for it," a smirk passed across her lips momentarily before she killed that too. "My name is Rin, but they call me The Butcher. For reasons I am sure you are able to recognize. Want someone to eat their own liver? I can make that happen for you, and I'll gladly watch to ensure it happens."

Rin suddenly stood slightly straighter as she felt a hand fall on her shoulder. Her head spun around to see. ******** Byr. Such a creeper. The tall tanned man stood behind her, smiling quite contentedly. Unlike Rin, he took a detour to get dressed in his fine blue tuxedo and pull his golden locks back into a loose ponytail. He was also holding a rather large raven in his free hand. "You forgot something," he offered as he held the bird up to greet her with an affectionate hiss.

"And.. uh... this is my nurse, Byr. He might not look it right now. But he is a very useful assistant," Rin offered before stroking the raven in his possession affectionately. "And this is mommas widdle eye nommer. Yes he iiiis." She reached out to take the bird before scurrying over to the buffet to have a looksee.

Byr smiled warmly at Harrison, "I will do anything to see to it that we win. Anything." He stepped down at this point to give the others their say and maybe just maybe to grab a drink and to check out the eyecandy abound.

Gargantuan had hastily doffed his hat once more to the Boss-man before he'd slunk off into the background, mopping his sweaty face with the arm of his shabby coat. He'd done his best to dress well, but the clothes were well worn and certainly from a lower-end store.

Exhaling slowly, the big man cast a sidelong, almost wary look at the tiger and his handler at the bar before he stepped closer to the tables lined with food. If there was one thing G could be proud of, it was his palate. Of course, he could--and would--eat anything. There had been days where he'd gone hungry, unable to afford food to eat and too ashamed to turn to handouts, of all things. Times like that made a man appreciate simply having a full belly, no matter the taste of whatever you were shoveling in it.

Still, he'd always had a real knack for taste, and secretly he'd always harbor a special sort of pride for it. Distracted, he picked up a handful of those fun little tiny hot dogs, shoving a few in his mouth and chewing even as his eyes darted from here and there. This was his family. To think he'd ever be involved with such important people was almost laughable, but here he was.

It was Ferros' size that really caught his attention, for it wasn't often that he met a guy as big as himself. Made him a little uncomfortable, if he was bein' honest about it.

That cat, though. G'd always liked kitty-cats. Never seen a kitty-cat quite as big as Massacre before, but his thick fingers still twitched as though wanting to run themselves through that fur. He forced himself to chomp on another hot dog. Nerves, that's all. Just nerves.

Jerry sighed, staring deep into his rink. Why were girls s hard to talk to? And why did they all severely outclass him here? He unzipped the top of his uniform, revealing the blue patterned shirt underneath. There wasn't time for relationships, not with the problems Harrison had warned them about looming over them. They all needed to be on their toes.

He drained the rest of his glass before slumping forward to fiddle with his lighter with a sour expression.

Mass finished his milk and grumpily swatted the bowl off the bartop which meant more picking up broken crockery for Tracey whose night just got better and better. Rep however was too busy watching Rin make her speech to Harrison, and incidentally her sexy nurse assistant. The woman put the fear of god into him but the nurse sometimes made it all worthwhile.

He gave Byr a finger wave and a smirk.

G got a curious glance from Rep as he sipped his drink. The redhead seemed to be all erratic dramatics and indifference, but anyone paying attention to him would note the keen interest he showed in other people. Mass was eyeing G because he had little hotdogs, Rep's intentions were anyone's guess - but he looked no less hungry.

Tracey glanced down the bar at the rather more dismal Jerry.

"Cheer up love, it might never happen", she said.

Having said his piece, Nuk had long since wandered back through the crowd to the table he had been loitering at before, ignoring the dirty looks some of the more ritzy patrons flashed him when he brushed too close. Like he might get their pretty silks dirty, or being seen too close to him might crumble their delicately-laid facade. It was another difference between the Underground and the Inner Circle; they had spent so long pretending to be law-abiding citizens, they forgot entirely about their own moral corruption. Some, the ones who reveled in their deceit, just saw themselves as better than people such as himself. And for the most part, Nukpana could not have given two shits about those sorts of individuals. He rarely interacted with any of the Inner Circle -- there was far too long a string of lackies to get their drugs for them for him to much of an impression from them. But here, in this crowded room, it was beginning to be just plain annoying. Just for that, he made a show of bumping one lady's chair as he walked by, her horrified gasp as she proceeded to spill her entire drink on her lovely champagne-colored gown satisfying.

He didn't necessarily harbor any resentment towards those who basked in the luxuries provided by Harrison's empire. They just happened to be exceptionally irritating most of the time.

The loud redhead at the bar, for example.

For a few minutes, Nuk just watched the train wreck which was going on around him, skepticism now replacing the indifference he had been sporting before. On one hand, across the room, a rather twitchy looking man was lighting something on fire, much to the bartender's chagrin. The lady, whom had not seemed all that impressed by the fireworks display, had quickly moved on, leaving him looking despondent. Nukpana was a little put out when he noticed that Senator Serafina was here; it was hard not to recognize the political figure, especially when she had a hand in the promise to 'cut down on crime' political bullshit. And then there was the redhead again, who was doing a marvelous job of attracting nearly all the attention in the bar. Between his flaming red hair, the illegal tiger fur he was sporting around his shoulders, and the live one he had claimed as a pet (which was now perched atop the bar,) he easily was drawing the most eyes. Nevermind that he was covered in jewels and was all-but announcing he was porking it with the Boss.

Well, it was more interesting than lurking in the shadows, at least.

The transformation, as always, was smooth, a serpentine slide into a form that seemed almost as natural to him as being human. Where one would have expected popping, crunching, tearing of flesh to be replaced by something completely inhuman, Nuk's shapeshifting could more aptly be compared to sliding into water. The moment he began to move forward, there was a rippling around the air by his head, sweeping along his body as he leaned forward further, and within a few seconds, a lean, black tiger had replaced the young man which had stood in its place not seconds beforehand.

Meandering through the crowd, which seemed entirely too at ease with tigers roaming the plush carpets, Nuk meandered towards the bar, skirting far too close to the tables and the other occupants. Now that he was a sleek, likely kept animal, the patrons seemed to mind far less if he got closer to them than what may have been comfortable. As if to emphasize this, he made a point of running his tail across Riyo's legs as he passed, anticipating no sort of reaction from her. Leaping nimbly onto the bar, the black tiger proceeded to sprawl lazily across the glowing surface, watching as his mirror opposite lapped up the milk with mild interest, genuinely curious of Massacre.

He'd never actually seen a tiger up close before. They weren't exactly native to the big city.

Ferros might be big, but he was remarkably quiet when he wanted to be. He appeared at Jerry's elbow without warning. "No fires here tonight," he said quietly. "The Boss wouldn't be happy."

Byr might just have a bit of a death wish. He unashamedly smirked and finger waved right back before just coincidentally taking a spot at the bar right next to him. "How's the tap today?" It was booze. Booze was always good. Asking that was more like asking how the weather was...

Rin eyed delicate little puffs of deliciousness at the buffet before popping a few in her mouth. She let her pet down on the table and it proceeded to peck up all the good shrimp greedily before grabbing a great big shrimp in its mouth and swooping over to the floor in front of the bar where it dropped it and placed a taloned foot over it. It's beak clicked a few times before it spoke in a deep but somehow mocking tone, "Ki-tty Ki-tty."

Despite it being a rather fancy like function of great importance, there was one figure still dressed in his rather everyday work functioning clothes. A long white coat with a rather well made tailor suit, a light purple shirt underneath with a rather butterfly pattern plum colored tie that matched rather well with the golden butterfly necklace that hung around his neck. For the most part he had remained lounging in one of the chairs with his leg crossed to one side as this leather shoes bobbed to the music. A grin was lingering on his face as he watched a few of the other members go up and pledge their alliance to Harrison, not that he didn’t doubt their abilities they were just so, well the matter of speaking some of them could have used his services. Matt was not a hack saw doctor, no no he wasn’t there to give some simple aid of merely fixing some drug dealers little knife cut wounds or stitch up their pathetic bullet holes.

No he was in the business of making things beautiful much like the Greek artist did in their sculptures and paintings fantasying the most perfect body. The only difference was his were actually living and he had the ability to touch, a little n** there, a little tuck there, sometimes there was a little more of adding to certain areas like a handful of perfect marble.

Besides did he mention he liked things that bounced.

Anyways, at this point he had bid enough time lingering at the table swirling the almost warm drink in his hand. Getting up he made his way towards Harrison, keeping his hands tucked into his coat pockets. They had a particular habit of wandering, not in the sense of grabbing some tightly sequin a** but the need to run their hands on some sort of imperfection searching for the beauty that hid underneath. Standing in front of the somewhat familiar man, he gave a rather short bow unable to resist the urge to keep his eyes focused on his.

“Dr. Mathias Jane Duffy, or Dr. Matt by most, in the particular business of making things pretty, prettier or if need be giving a new identity to those that are handpicked for their skills and well of course their sensational skill of getting into danger.” He replied giving a flourish of his hands before tucking his them into his pockets of his purple pin stripped pants. “ Always at your services regardless of the right price or the few guinea pigs to play with when need be. Also have this odd skill of shocking people with my hands, helps when someone dies on the table you know, or silencing someone who wants to know where a particular well wanted man is. Let me know if there is anything I can do, I’m sure I will be of some use.” Giving him another short bow to show his appreciation he grinned at Harrison and then to his close friend who kept his eyes on the black box before turning his back. This was going to be fun, he thought before thinking he could use another drink as he headed towards the bar.

He hated the Watch.

The organization that had its greedy little fingers into everything and held everyone in its vice-like grip by their neck. Some were willing placed into its grasp, and some like Jing, found themselves there by fate.

Life was simple, just trying to survive and dream. Surviving wasn't an easy thing to do however, bills had to be paid and things had to be bought. Now to make ends meet he had to sell his soul to the watch, running supplies of Royal blue to whomever was dealing with them covertly while openly acting as a blackjack dealer in the casino. While it sucked, it kept money in his sister's pocket and kept Ying as far away from the watch as he could get her.

Jing kept to his seat and the glass with a paltry amount of sparkling water in front of him. The ice cubes began to dance their dance in the fluid, as it began to eat away at it in its slow, agonizing pace till it was part of the fold. It was almost ironic, finding foreshadowing in his drink. It was Vegas, so in hindsight, it was to be expected to find clarity in whatever a person ingested. The notion brought a sneer to his face as the crime boss continued in his speech, informal and blunt.

Like a sledgehammer.

Ying wasn't far from his side, if he had his choice, he didn't even want her present for the meeting. She didn't belong here with this crowd, seeing all this; the people he had to work with, those who he had to obey. It was shameful for her to see this. It brought nothing but dishonor to him.

The meet and greet continued as he began to request fealty to the watch, and as much as he didn't want to, appearances still had to be made. He was the one signing their checks after all. I can't bite the hand that feeds me, not openly in public at least. "Well, I have to go do my sworn duty, I'll be right back Ying." he stated, giving the girl a pat and a sour grin and placing his mask back in place. The shadowy visage that enjoyed working for the watch as their dog.

The walk up to where Harrison sat at his table was agonizing, the waiting and watching of people waxing poetic at his feet was enough to make him retch, the fact that he was going to have to act the same in a matter of minutes following soon after.

He had to make sure his mask was in place. The male pressed out the imaginary creases in his shirt and brushed back his hair as he waited to greet the mob boss. "Jing Sir." he replied in his honeyed tone and boyish grin. "My abilities as a scout & spy as well as my blade are yours to command." he assured the king. "I have people I want to protect and would be honored to take part, my king." he finished and took his leave from the other man's overwhelming presence.

He had to go wash the lies from his mouth with the glass of water he was nurturing earlier.

"I will get Ying out of this place, somehow. I swear it." The glass however gave no acknowledgement of his ambitions.

Jerry was about to turn to Tracey to answer when the voice over his shoulder sent chills down his spine and a small squeak from his throat. "It... it was just... a little science experiment, is all! Oxidizing steel threads and.... Yes, sir." He fumbled with his glass before timidly putting a few bills on the counter top to cover his tab.

The big man didn't quite start as he realized Rep's bright eyes had met his own. Oh. Some people got prickly about their possessions, especially if someone of lesser status was taking in interest in them. Best to be diplomatic in a situation like this. He didn't want to offend no one, but family was family--right?

Sucking in a deep breath through his nose, G carefully lumbered a bit closer, unsure whether he should keep his eye on the tiger, or the tiger's master. "He--uh. He like hot dogs?" It was an effort to keep his voice steady and a casual, though he did jump when another big cat prowled past to join the first.

More kitty-cats. He tried not to grin like a dope, forcing his face into almost a scowl in an attempt to look like, well, like he belonged in an organization like this. Shuffling a little closer, he was wise enough to keep his hands to himself, but oh, how hard it was not to reach out and play out with those big, curly tails!

"Uh," Gargantuan blanked for a moment, meeting Rep's gaze for a moment before he doffed his hat respectfully. As far as he was concerned, he was the low man on the totem pole, and that was just fine with him. "I can, uh. Get some hot dogs too if you'd like them. Uh. Sir."

Meanwhile, his mind continued on a constant chant of kittykittykittykittykittykittykitty.

Had Riyo seen where the big kitty spawned from, chances are she would've kept on her merry way and tried not to think about the great big fuzzies that walked past her.

But she hadn't. Between the slots and her wine, her attention had been evenly divided.

Then it bumped her leg, and within an instant she forgot about both things completely. There were no people here. No distractions. Just her and tigers.

It was an immediate change, her indifferent red eyes practically melted and reformed wide, almost hypnotized ones. She had one objective: pet the tiger.

Her glass was set a decent ways away from the large beast before she took a brief moment to admire it. There was no hesitation. No fear as she removed one of her gloves to stroke the animal's fur.

And just like that, she was in seventh heaven... Possibly thinking of good names to call him... And if she could sneak him into her apartment. Where he would sleep. If he would eat the other cats...

"Just a reminder," Ferros said, and patted Jerry's shoulder with a big hand, careful not to pat too hard. "Sure he'll have something nice for you to burn soon. Take a video. I like fire." His smile turned beatific, perhaps slightly disturbing to anyone else, considering the subject.

Rep had his attention grabbed by the handsome man that worked for Rin, so at first was oblivious to the other tiger which had crept up along the bar. He was too busy grinning and leaning into Byr's personal space. "Expensive as ******** as always." he purred. "How are duties? Still giving sponge baths for a living?"

Tracey was almost relieved that Rep had distracted himself, even if he he was now worried he would irritate Jordan or Harrison with the open flirting in public. At least he wasn't breaking more glass, which was in some ways, progress.

Mass on the other hand, stared at the big tiger opposite him, he'd never really seen another tiger either, raised believing he was pretty much just a little Rep that walked on all fours. He didn't like it and some primal jungle instinct stirred in him. Even junk food couldn't overtake the call of the wild as he bared his fangs with a bristle of whiskers and flicked back ears and flat out roared across the bar, backing up.

Rep was about to reply to G, to tell him he was busy schmoozing at the moment and that though hot dogs would be appreciated they might not help his current mood any when Massacre kicked off on the bar. He leaned away from Byr proper and looked from one tiger to the other, before in a panic, hauling the white tiger off the bar and hefting him into his arms like an oversized cat. This in itself was a feat - he wasn't light. At all.

"What the ******** who let that thing in here?! It could have ******** rabies or something!"

There was a tiger at the bar. There was a bird just eating everything on the table. There was a big man just shoving his face.

Melvin more or less was sinking closer and closer behind Saliva before he started to tug on her shirt. "We should go. We did our part. It's good." He hissed at her, but Saliva paid him no mind. That wasn't until he started to whimper when the raven or crow or whatever blackbird it was swooped down and started to tear at a shrimp a bit too close to the drug cook.

The man was already all nerves when someone put his sandwich meats in the wrong order. This place was bound to torture him, but she had hoped she could have scored a bit of social points with some big wigs and maybe some great food before that happened.

Picking the last things she wanted to eat before they were all gone and putting it on her plate, she took Melvin's arm and walked him over to a chair where she sat down beside him. "Just drink your water and we'll be gone after this is over. Okay?"

Frowning, he slowly started to twist the bottle cap off.
