"You said there could be only one..." Roch said, his eyes on the obliterated screen. It had been bad enough to ignore the scratches in the walls, or all the damage Poke's natural form could do, but that-- "And you know that way works--it worked on us," he added, although he was searching through his pockets again--and pulling out a white bottle from his pocket.
"Sir, permission t'patch the walls real quick? I'll be within shoutin' distance," he added. The screen was a goner. He'd have to dig through the supplies--and supplies were running thin, thanks to this crew. He looked at Kat, sighed, and poofed in a cloud of smoke, appearing at the nearest wall with his hand in torch mode and the bottle of white stuff to use as a weld.

"Exactly." If it hadn't been for the mask, there would be a wide grin across his face. But the feeling was still there. "Maybe I'll catch the next one. Though I'll make no promises."
A pause.
"If you mean I have the choice, then no. I don't think I will." He confirmed. "You can try and remember that much on your own."
When Dakota gripped his hand, he returned the greeting, giving a slight nod of his head. "If you mean by the entire left side being without power and their panels removed with cables and wiring strewn everywhere, then yes. Its completely fixed." He answered with the usual sarcasm and shrugged. "I think some of the couplings are in need of replacement. To much--."
BOOM
A flash of light, a loud crack of thunder and the screen behind them exploded.
"Really Wilson. Strength and electrical discharges? You may want to re-consider holding your meetings here next time, or find some other way to go about this." Really. This poor ship had been through enough and though it may be grounded, someone was still going to have to repair that. But it wasn't going to him.
Marosa saluted again, now completely serious. "Oi've used et tae get information, but ne'er went entirely dat far." The Ganerie replied, glancing to Sharra again. "Moi best friend here kin vouch fer me. We've kept dis ship free from hijackin' an' sabotage by rootin' onto tha roight channels, along with my abilities, and keepin' 'er safe."
Marosa jumped visibly as Kat destroyed a bit of the shop, his wings flaring out from under his bolero before he forcibly calmed himself and looked to his Captain again.
"People will tell ye anythin' if dey believe tare in love with ye." He continued. "Oi've ne'er taken 'em against tare will." He wanted to reiterate that, just to be sure the King understood.
"Sir," he added, saluting once more, wings folding flat against his back.

Zephyros noticed the horror in the captain's face at all the sudden holes and damages to the ship. He lets out a soft snort before smiling weakly at his question. He lifts up a hand-- one situated with strings along his hand. Slight zaps sparking around the hand as well-- but he doesn't use it for anything. Not yet. "You step aside sir, however I see you don't want the ship harmed. How exactly do I show you my strength? I don't want to cause any more damage to this ship than it already has sustained. "

Renatus wasn't in a hurry, at all. He watched as others milled around him and approached the commander, he listened to their stories and their strengths. He knew some of them by sight, but few would probably remember him as anything other than a slacker, if they remembered him at all.
He was only shocked out of his silent observation when a blast of electricity took out a wall, making him jump and recoil farther back into the room. His body phased partially as he did so, the solid, dark skin of his arms giving way to a loosely arm-shaped swirl of fiery blue. When he was positive that he wasn't going to lose his head from a ball of lightning, he managed to get himself back under control and solidify himself once more.
Of course, at that point he was really questioning if he had to do this. He was pretty sure he liked not being blown to pieces. But if he went home to his father without trying..
"Uhm, yeah, hi." He cleared his throat and stepped forward through the small crowd of people, waving a dark hand half-heartedly at the commander. "I'm Renatus, but Ren is good. I'm kind of just a grunt around here, but I can.. help." He sounded more like he might be trying to convince himself than the Commander. "I'm a fire elemental, from the Pavo galaxy." He glanced quickly to the exploded screen, then back at the little gathering of people before him. "I mean, I'm not going to explode anything with a fireball but.." He trailed off and held up a hand, letting it phase to its fire state before he solidified it again. "I can do just about anything you need with fire, which I guess is probably kind of helpful."
He shrugged and crossed his arms over his chest, done with his piece. He seemed indifferent to being chosen, because at least he could say he tried. Kind of.

The Mära relaxed, letting a grin slip through, "well, I should bloody well hope so! I'm fairly good, but I'm not that good. But if it's a demonstration you want, it's yours." She glanced around but didn't see anything that immediately seemed like it could make for a good show of her abilities. Except for having at it with one of the other crew members there, but randomly attacking someone to show that she was reliable probably wasn't the best idea ever. "D'you want me to spar with someone? Or show off my ability to paralyze?"

“Saying you know defense and offense is all well and good,” he started as he observed Leo, “but I think a demonstration of your skills is in order. You may be strong, but there may be others who are stronger yet.”

"There's a freakin' wall of WIRES behind some of these walls," Roch muttered as he worked on the wiring. Last thing he wanted was for an electrical fire, if the ship went up in flames because of the crew--
He snorted, stripped and capped one wire before rerouting the electrical route. Then he welded the wall closed. This was going to take too long, he thought, and he looked like a moron to those that didn't understand, so he brought up his PDA and summoned a workbot to take over, then kept working until it got there.

Destruction reigned around him. Elliot was unfazed, amused even. So this was the kind of people that Wilson hung around with now? He wondered if Emma would like the brashness and enthusiasm that these guys seemed to possess. Electricity still danced around the screen. That was a goner for sure, but maybe later he'd help the boy patching up the wall. Or maybe he'd go talk to the blonde chick who shot the wall in the first place because she was rather good looking--
There was a ping, incoming message on his PDA.
Tell Wilson I said 'hi' if you see him.
Ah, there went his plans of remaining unseen. Normally speaking, it shouldn't be possible for a Commander to not know who was on his ship. But Elliot had the sneaking suspicion that Wilson was unaware of his presence. He'd boarded late and had been working around in first floor for the most part. But if there was one thing that could sway Elliot it was Emma, and if it made her happy, he'd be willing to do almost anything. Happiness was something Emma did not have much of anymore.
He pushed past the red-eyed blond talking to Wilson to place a hand on his shoulder.
"Oi Wilson, long time no see, I got a message for you."

At least Wilson had the decency to regain his composure. “Go ahead,” he answered Roch with an offhanded wave. He eyed the holes in the wall one more time before he forced himself to turn back toward the crowd.
He narrowed his eyes at Ryan. “I didn’t think they’d destroy the ship.” Wilson threw a wary gaze toward the other officers and dared them to mirror Vanya’s and Kat’s actions.
“I see.” Wilson would’ve been impressed by Marosa’s and Sharra’s effort to prevent hijackings, but maybe they should’ve told him earlier about it too. He nodded his head. “Alright then soldier, that’s all.”
“A wise decision,” he told Zephyros. The commander cupped his chin with one hand while he surveyed the room. His first thought was to find another willing officer and have them spar with each other, but depending on their abilities they could easily start destroying the ship. That was the last thing he wanted. “How about you just tell me what you can do? Try to keep it as objective as possible. If you won’t damaging anything, feel free to showcase it.”
“You can ‘help’,” Wilson repeated as he turned toward Renatus. An amused smile adorned his face as he took in the officer’s appearance. “As long as you don’t explode anything part of this ship, I don’t actually mind.” He leaned forward to get a better look at the man’s hand as it became encased in fire and returned to normal. “I would have you show me, but considering the destructive capabilities of fire, I’ll just take your word for it.” The commander was quickly learning that some people didn’t know how to control themselves. T:
His eyes lit up at Leo. “Ah, yes.” Grinning, he turned toward Zephyros. “Do you happen to know hand-to-hand combat? A spar would be interesting to watch. Otherwise…” He stretched out his arms. “You can paralyze me.” Wilson paused and added, “But you should probably tell me how long this will last. If it’s too long that would be…troublesome.”
Then there was that voice. He breathed out and closed his eyes for a moment as he gathered himself. Wilson knew he had been here from the beginning, it was just a matter of politely avoiding any awkward conversation. “Elliot.” When he turned toward his friend, there was the usual smile the commander loved to wear. “Indeed. What’s the message? How’ve you been?”

Lumikki blinked when the commander spoke of her planet giggling slightly when he made mention of how they didn't really like him.
"You...just didn't meet the right ones...you're strong enough...that is..."
She rushed on when she realized that she was rambling. Feeling Mitsu's hand she calmed a bit and nodded to her statement, she knew the commander would take care of them.
"I...my natural..uhm.."
Nodding she moved slightly out of the way before shifting in to a small six tailed fox, bouncing back over to the commander she puffed up slightly, proud of how small she actually became, it had come in handy once or twice.
Since she had a good view of everything now, Poke was able to see Vanyas Beautiful display of power. Her maw opened in a very big toothy grin. "That was awesome!" She shouted, being a bit louder then she intended to be. She doubted that she could pull of a similar move. While strong, she wasn't that fast or nimble. So she could ram the wall down but cuts like that? Nah ah.
Her eyes then set on two individuals, Mitsu and Lumikki, who appeared a little frightened at the prospect of fighting. Her fins dropped at the thought of seeing such kind and gentle individuals being involved. Nurses and medics shouldn't have to worry about weather they would live or not.
"Hey, if things go my way, then you guys wont get hurt at all." She said to them, her tail slapping on the floor. "Though, I'd be great to have some medical support. I may end up seeing you a lot." Because even with her tough scales, she could still get injured.
A squeal then caught her attention. The Drogiam lowered her head to look at Ami, who appeared ecstatic at seeing her form. Yeah, she was pretty awesome she had to admit. Poke was already liking this girl.
"Thats pretty cool, to be living next to one of my kind." She replied, looking over the others form. "I've heard of the Cetid's myself. There were a few on my home planet." Considering there was lots of water on her planet.
It didn't escape her notice either as Dakota was pretty much flirting with most of the females on board. She had heard of him, too. It wasn't hard when some of your colleges liked to brag about his skillsets. Because he really gave the term 'this sex is on fire', a whole new term. "Really?" was all she said to him, for now at least.
With a sigh she heard the commander talking to her again, and quickly moved to look at him once more. It was safe to say the commander was impressed, and she couldn't help but wag her tail. Yes, Poke was wagging her tail.
"Oh, I can lift about 2 tons in this form, but even in humanoid I can lift about 1. If push goes to shove I might be able to lift more." She explained. Then it got to speed. "Er, flying I can do roughly 60 miles, swimming around 40, running...about 10." She hopped he wasn't about to measure these stats, it was a very rough estimate on her part.
It was then she caught the captains shock on his face, and she turned to see that a screen had been blown up." Heck yeah, now thats what I'm talking about." As she moved her body to get a better look, her tail may have smacked into the nearby hologram projector.

Bix looked impressed, visibly, by the exploding screens and shape changes. He didn't have any such show to put on but it didn't stop the serpentine man from opening up just a bit more, his mouth cracking into a grin. A tongue darted between his fangs when he answered Wilson's question.
"I've only ever helped people with anything I've learned!" It was almost a laugh, "I'm not the kind to abuse that sort of resource." He wasn't all good and noble instincts. Bix could be bias as anyone, but you didn't tell your superior that. He perhaps didn't even acknowledge it himself. It was the sort of personality trait that someone else fills you in on. The pale alien just nodded his head a bit, "I offer anything at all, if only my bow, to the cause."
He felt the eyes of the Drogiam for a brief moment, looking from the group that he was conversing with and smiled. Drogiam's, while water based creatures, were one of his favorite species as well. They had more durable bodies, and more of a taste for flesh then other females.
He wasn't saying that he liked to be eaten but they did have a fondness for roughness? At least the ones he had 'conversed' with. As Livisians were not shy, nor did they hide their hunger...which was currently flaring with the brief taste of Madeline, he gave the Drogiam a feral smile and wink.
Perhaps that would earn him a visit later from the curious female. Plus he'd like to see the package in that repetellian body. He made sure though to keep his face high enough away from Madeline, just in case she decided for a more painful possessive mark.
Focusing back on Ryan, he sighed and shook his head. "An improvement is a improvement in the least, and with how many mechanics we honestly have..." He stopped at the power of yet another female, and whistled at the wall. "Beautiful shot gorgeous." he grinned and was going to check the wall before Roch got to it. Well that was fine by him honestly.
He was busy wondering how to get three different women in his bed.

He smiles softly and nods in response before thinking carefully. Then he glances over at Leo and this comment the Captain speaks. He takes a few moments before he responds. "I am very much capable in strength. However I am evenly matched in my speed as I am in my defensive skills. I was a strong warrior in my lands-- being able to catch those who mocked me. In fact, because of my flight, I have more of an advantage than those whom are land born. It doubles my strength when I speed into a down descent. However my downfall is my terrible eyesight.." he frowns and nibbles his lips. "Unfortunately I have to rely on my hearing most of the time. I've lived like this my whole life, without the need for glasses or such. It is fine now, but that is a big downfall. As well as the cold.. it freezes my feathers so I may not be able to fly during those times.."

"I ... All? Not ... extraordinarily well, as I was detached from my planet early, but a general knowledge I suppose?" she gave in response to Wilson. She was no magical genius, that was for certain, but she was well read and could recall basic facts at times. Some of it useless, some of it mattered. "If I had to nail it down I suppose ... I'm best at analyzing? Looking at situations, puzzles and breaking them down?"
That was the best she could offer. She sighed and looked back up at her new watery friend, Poke. "Really? As far out as Drogiam country, hm," she said daintily. Her kind never traveled far- after all, why would they need to? The most they did was traveling to other planets to pick up shipments of scrolls, books, tomes and the like- which was the reason Ami had been out. "Is it true that your kind can predict storms?" she said, head tilted inquisitively. "I could have asked my neighbor, but ... I'm afraid he's a bit grouchy."
She stuttered for a moment and quickly bowed. "Oh I'm so terribly sorry, where are my manners? My name is Ami. Yours?."
