Mitsu only watched the blade uncomfortably, though she seemed interested in the idea of stew. "Stew? From Hel?" Hel made really good stew. The kind that filled you up and kept you warm. If Shun was going to try to learn to make it Mitsu would definitely eat it. She liked the food he made now but she wouldn't turn down anything new. "Do you want help?" Though if that help involved cutting things up Mitsu wasn't sure she could manage.

"Walk? Is there somewhere else you want to go other than the store?" Mitsu could manage a walk. She didn't go out often but managed to venture out and on her own from time to time though mostly it was around school grounds. Going out into town was an entirely different matter. She only really felt safe when Shun was with her and even then she was still a little on edge with all the people.

So it seemed like there were things she could do after all. Mitsu would do her best to help Shun put together the best stew. If it was one of Hel's recipes it was bound to be good.

"I..I guess I can get Milo something." Mitsu really didn't have the urge to go to town but if they were going to go she would make the best of it. She could get Milo some more food and a toy.

The signal that lunch was done was when Shun grabbed for two bowls and filled them both with the beef curry. Watching him carefully make his way back toward her Mitsu gratefully took the bowl offered. "Thank you." She eyed the bowl hungrily, reaching in with her fingers to pull out some of the meat chunks to stuff in her mouth. While she liked sweets she couldn't deny her love of meat as well.

"It's good." Mitsu licked her fingers clean before she reached in for another piece.

Mitsu was about to reach in for another helping with her hand when Shun offered her a fork. Cleaning her fingers she reached for the utensil and began to eat with it instead. "Spicy?" Mitsu liked sweet food more than she liked spicy.

"You can taste the meat this way.." She said thoughtfully. "Maybe next time you can leave the beef rare." That was a much better suggestion she thought. There would be no complaints if the meat just only slightly warmed instead of fully cooked.

"Steak?" Mitsu's eyes lit up a little more and she leaned toward Shun. "You're going to make me a steak? When? When?" Her voice was full of excitement. She wanted to know the details about this meal that had yet to be put into motion despite the fact that she was already eating.

"Will it be a big steak? Like the size of a plate?" That was probably modestly sized considering the giant piece of jerky she had managed to find at Howling Crest.

"A surprise?" Mitsu nearly whined, her face forming into a pout. Denied her pudding and now she didn't know when she was going to get steak. She was starting to believe Shun just liked to dangle things in front of her to tease her.

Finishing off the food she had Mitsu set the bowl aside to clean later. There she sat quietly until Shun decided it was time to go. She wasn't exactly eagerly awaiting to go into town.

Getting ready really only involved one thing. Putting on her jacket. Once it was on and zipped most of the way up she made her way toward Shun as ready as she was going to be and of course shoeless. It didn't seem her experience through the snow had taught her much on the importance of shoes.

"Lead the way." She said softly, looking a little antsy but at least she didn't seem like she was going to break out into a panic. Instead she cast one last glance toward the desk where her pudding was still guarded by his blades. It wasn't going to keep forever.

The trip to town was like any other time though Mitsu couldn't help but keep a watchful eye out, peering into the shadows and regarding people as they walked by. Her obsessive staring seemed to catch the attention of a few though mostly they looked confused or even a little concerned themselves. What was going on?

As they drew closer to the grocery store Mitsu didn't let go of Shun's hand until she picked up a hand basket to put their purchases in, following the reaper to the back where the meat section was. The tip of her tail began to wag a little eyeing the expansive case of meats, her fingers idly poking some of the packages of large roasts.

"Big..." Was her only answer for Shun regarding steak. It didn't matter what kind of steak, it didn't even matter what grade. She would be content as long as it was big. "I didn't get a lot of stuff like this with Mr. Adolphus. He didn't eat very often and only kept stuff in the house that wouldn't go bad." Which meant a lot of canned goods for the most part.
