"Oh?" Kesi said, somewhat disheartened as she figured he probably had a mare back where he came from. But she got all the reassurance she needed from that mischievous look in his eyes. "And what would that be?" She asked, one eyebrow cocked as she had somewhat of a smirk on her face.

Her eyes held a twinkle as he asked his question. Kesi smiled, "Of course. You know I love you more than anything, and I can't imagine being without you." She nuzzled him gently, always careful of his wounds.

Abdul smiled, perhaps the largest smile he'd managed in a long while.. atleast since he became a soldier in the war. "And I love you too, Kesi. You make my life complete."

Kesi moved closer to him and draped her head over his shoulder, careful not to make his scabs crack. "Now I just have to make sure you don't try to die on me again." She said playfully, but with a sense of seriousness.
