The thought of getting a new power had seemed fun for the mardi gras pae'il, so she was more than happy to set up for the trip. However, suddenly she wasn't having nearly the fun she thought she was in for. Hungry, tired, and aggravated at how dark it was, she stumbled upon the area. What was she supposed to do? The knights pointed towards the platform, which she delicately raised an eyebrow to. They wanted her...to pray? It was all she could do not to laugh. How cheesy can this get? Smirking now, she delicately knelt and closed her eyes. Try as she might though, Erylia could not keep a straight face. The whole thing was just absurd. Criofan would laugh... That thought sobered her up. After leaving the area with Zana to search for Shadow...well, the golden pae probably didn't even think of her anymore. He no doubt had long moved on to a new queen and more riches. Shaking her head, she tried to concentrate on the issue at hand. Before she was regarding the thing with a bit of humor, now she just wanted it to be done with. Her mood was completely soured. Impatiently she opened her eyes just as Dylana began to glow. She had upset herself so much she forgot what she was even doing. Thankfully it didn't completely ruin things. Smoothly Erylia stood, her hair moving like liquid gold as she looked to the sky at the last remaining stars in the sky.

A bottle of wine for her spirit (I didn't mean to do that XD) a blanket for mind and a basket for heart. Was this supposed to represent her or was Dylana trying to get a picnic set up? The basket was easily found, being it's large size. Wicker gently bouncing against her slender waist, the demonic looked ahead at the springs. Somewhere around here was a bottle and a blanket. How she was supposed to discern that it was hers or another pae's she didn't know, but really didn't much care if it achieved the same end result. At the sound of a childs laughter, she turned her head to the left. There, sticking right out of the ground was a green bottle. Aha. Gently swaying to the area, she plucked the bottle right out from its 'hiding' place. Not much hiding. It was out in the open. Near children. At her age she might have tried it...shame that she couldn't leave the bottle behind to leave some fun for others.

The last of the suns rays found Erylia taking care of her nails, making sure they were even and dirt free from her little adventure. She shook her head and let her hands drop to her lap. It was about time to see if the Guardian accepted her offering. The day had been emotionally draining, and she ached for it to be over. She was tired of all the drama; she only wanted to have fun. When the last of the suns rays were swallowed, a red fairy popped into view, slowly fluttering around in circles above her head. Oh? So that was her new power? How...very interesting. She could have fun with this. A slow smile crept onto her face. Much fun.

Yukiko was a little nervous as she came up to the altars. She knelt, waiting for the sun to rise, her blue eyes shut tightly. The last thing she wanted to do was mess this up. She knew that by doing this she would be becoming a steward in the Order of the Light, that she would be part of anything they did. Not to mention she'd be able to give her son a better life in the city, she'd be able to protect him better with what she learned. She smiled at that thought. A mother to her core, Yukiko knew her son would be more powerful than she probably ever be and she still wanted to protect him.
She felt the sun rise and waited a moment to open her eyes to see Liliana glow.

She was after all, modeled after a flower. Zana looked to the beach, the waters glistening in the sunlight. She couldn't ask for a better area to do her scavenger hunt. The sun warmed her skin delightfully, and the breeze playfully tousled her hair. Just as her toes touched the smooth sand, her rosey eyes caught sighed of something nestled against the shoreline. A bright pink pail. Perhaps it belonged to some little pae, but the odds of it being pink...Well, if it wasn't it, she would certainly return it as soon as possible.

Zana watched the sun disappear into the horizon, a touch sad to see it go. She much preferred the day to the night. But it would return in a few hours, and it was necessary for it to pass for the next page of her ritual. Legs folded under her, she looked to her offerings. The cotton had a sizable rock sat on top to keep it from blowing away, so really it was more like 4 offerings for the price of 3. The little leather pouch of seeds rested next to the cotton, the bag barely the size of her pinky. Hopefully the seeds would be planted afterwards. She didn't know what kind they were, but everything deserved a chance to grow. At once the female jumped when something touched her shoulder, eyes going wide. "Oh!...It's just a little mellon. Hello there." The colorful fairy hovered in front of her face, clearly unhappy that she startled it. "Sorry...I've been in my head all day. Please tell me what you've come to share." The tiny creature landed on her shoulder, seemingly happy with her apology. Singing? So...the Guardians did know what they were doing after all. She never doubted them for a second.

The Magpie thought Shizzle was pretty too, so she bonded to him. The magpie generally follows Shizzle around, even if she's just following him in the bushes.
What are the major weaknesses your pae'il will face when using this ability? Speaking of shiney objects, Shizzle will take anything that sparkles, shines or glitters. No matter what it's made off, if it's pretty, Shizzle will attempt to theive it. He's like a crazed Kelptomaniac. He will try to steal anything shiney. Some things would be harder to resist than other. Like jewelry and sparkly rocks/precious metals would be nigh impossible to resist. But a quarter on the ground wouldn't be so interesting to him.
Also, with help from the magpie, Shizzle can imitate simple noises or short melodies simply by listening to them once. He can't imitate something complex like an entire song or other peoples voices but something like a doorbell or a few bars of muzak? That would be easy.

Being merged with the tarantula would give her more enhanced stealth and speed. It would also mildly boost her strength. She couldn't move a mountain but she can lift big rocks or other pae, no problem.
What are the major weaknesses your pae'il will face when using this ability? She thinks like a predator. She's always looking for smaller prey or defending herself against larger predators. Fight or flight instict would be in over drive. She bites when frightened. She also wouldn't like larger pae or sudden movements. Or bright lights. Or open spaces. Since Taratulas have no nest, she wouldn't feel secure anywhere or have a settled home.
She'll have trouble overcoming her insticts at first, but slowly she be able to semi-control her urges. She might never truly be in control of them tho, since you can make a spider a pet but he'll bite you if you spook him.

Wild Soul Chosen Power Name: Nile Crocodile Power Description: The captain can transform in and out of the form of a Nile Crocodile. Secondary power is to do a half-transform where he gets sharp claws, thicker skin and the powerful tail. Weakness: (include limitations, "kryptonite" if applicable, and energy requirements) Darias can only maintain half-transformation for a limited time, and full transformation for an even shorter time. While as a croc can stay underwater for 2 hours, Darias would shapeshift back into a pae around 30 minutes and need to come back up for air. Darias considered himself a bit of a businessman, and knew sometimes to make money you had to spend money first. "Oy! Belay yer greedy grubbing claws!" The male went into a jog, heading towards the group of kids surrounding none other than a chest. "Git outta here ye lil sea urchins!" They popped up from their findings, eyes wide from being startled. He drew his sword, and they immediately ran from the area. Trying to touch something that wasn't theirs, the nerve!

Setting the items down, the pirate took a step back with a smirk. All three items, just like they asked. When he took another step back, he jingled. Suddenly, all the knights were looking at him. Shaking his head, he emptied his other pocket. "Fine, fine! Shake me down, ye landlubbers. Bare me to the breeches." With that, he sat down on the ground again. Jingle. "Blimey! Can't catch a breeze." The male grumbled under his breath.

At that moment, the mellon delivered a swift kick to his hat, sending it off its perch on top of him. Gold coins rolled off the Captains head. "...You bilge-sucking rat...I see why they picked ye fer me."

Kobalt was confident as he stepped up to the altar and knelt on the smooth stone. It was cool against his knees but warmed quickly to his body heat. He had plenty of time for it to do so; he'd arrived hours before sunrise, eager to take part and be useful to the Guardians. When he felt the heat of the sun break over the horizon, he looked up to see Dylana's color glowing at him.

The power itself looks fine. However, we wanted you to be aware of something before we accepted it, to get confirmation you are alright with this.
Queen Tariel of the Naiad possesses this power as part of her overhead Siren Song ability. Siren Song allows her this and other powers as well (Healing Songs, et cetera). While holding a subdivision of her power is fine, we wanted to be certain you were okay with the overlap and did not wish for something else instead.

Pae'il Name: Naomi Power Category: 4 (Redeemer) Chosen Power Name: Pediatric Aid (open to better name suggestions) Power Description: Naomi will be able to understand infants, as well as be able to aid in helping them to heal ailments. She can also help toddlers and children. Weakness: Once the pae becomes a toddler she can no longer hear/understand them. Once they become a teen she can no longer aid in their healing. There is a small wording issue here and I want to be certain as to what you meant before I accepted this. Does Naomi become totally deaf to anyone who isn't a baby (as in, she can only hear babies) or can she just no longer innately interpret what they need (unless they tell her directly, which many would be able)?

It brought her a small comfort that he had completed the journey unscathed, so she wasn't afraid. Simply put though, she'd rather be at home curled up beside a fire. Who wouldn't? Her footsteps were almost inaudible as she made her way to the alters. A crack in the surrounding forest brought a low growl from her instinctively, head snapping to the side. Her entire body froze still against the night, she prayed she'd be invisible. Minutes ticked, nothing showed itself, and she was content with the thought it was just another creature in the woods around her. She knelt, closing her eyes, but her sharp ears remained alert. Unlike her easygoing brother, Malloren always kept on the lookout. She was the defender, and she would remain so until the end of her days. When her bright golden eyes opened, Dylana glowed in all her glory. Stormspike again, eh? Why mess with a good thing? Fluidly standing, Malloren smiled. Soon she'd be back home, and Yuki would make a celebratory feast. He had promised as much.

As the final suns rays hit her offering, Malloren sat up from her cat nap. Was it disrespectful to sleep on the platform? None of the Knights had said anything, so she supposed it was alright. She yawned and stretched, tail flicking side to side. The feline had little trouble finding the area, and had come back with so much time to spare, what else was she supposed to do? Moving into a kneeling position, her ears perked up when she spotted a little fairy on its way over. Orange little thing, it was easy to spot. The angelic smiled and held out a hand for it to land on. "We have a lot of work ahead of us. Hope you're on board."
Just for clarification, when you say "fire cats of herself," does she summon fiery cats that resemble her appearance, or is she summoning clones of herself made out of fire? I know you occasionally call Malloren a cat due to her catlike appearance, so I wanted to be clear.
Be aware that summoning fire she can't control could be ... potentially be rather disastrous. Essentially, she would likely end up burning the entire Isle down. This isn't acceptable.
Also, this power does contain similarities to a future IPC's power, and therefore if you keep this power, there will be overlap. Personally, I would suggest choosing something more along the line of a true Stormspike power (elemental control/manipulation) over what reads like a combination of Stormspike and Paragon.

Blizz was... Curious none the less. He didn't know much of these Guardians or these Knights...So why was he willingly starving himself? Why was he out in the cold morning before dawn? He...Wasn't much of a morning person after all...Though he did like the bath and just...He thoughts. Which was close to what he was doing now...His eyes were closed as he muttered the silent pray to himself. He..Didn't understand it...Maybe he'd learn in time? This was..So He lifted his head as he felt the light of the dawn on his black hair. As the light enveloped him he slowly opened his eyes. He blinked as he saw the glowing pillar, Dylana, the Stormspike Guardian. Was this his calling? He silently got up and simply stared for a moment as the sun raised in the sky. Now came the real test.

Blizz panted as he returned to the altars as the sun started to set. It had taken a bit of traveling to get what he needed. He moved back to Dylana's Alter and started to set down the items he had collected one by one. A hand crafted bowl filled with water from Mereth Falls. His mind was always of his 'sister'...They weren't of blood but she was always with him. He had cut up one of his scarfs and got a bit of Care's ribbon she always wore, wrapping them up together, just like he hoped they would be. Last was soul and well..The hardest to keep as it was. He placed down a block of ice Auva Nin Mountains. It was hard keeping it from totally melting but he had managed. He was hungry, cold, and tired. Was all this...
Even his own thought were interpreted by a little ball of blue light. He blinked at it....Was he going crazy? He should his head. The little thing was rambling but he was too tired to listen. "Look...Whatever you are can it wait till I get some chow and a nap?" The little ball of light fumed and started to pull at Blizz's hair. He groaned. This was going to be a long night.
The base of this power is fine! However, Blizzards can cross dozens of miles, if not more. Please limit the size of the Blizzard he can summon! I would suggest a very localized "blizzard" is likely what you want to go for, becoming a very large inconvenience for those in the immediate vicinity.

She can also help toddlers and children. Weakness: Once the pae becomes a toddler she can no longer hear/understand them. Once they become a teen she can no longer aid in their healing. Additional Notes: She can only understand the infant if the person playing the character makes it clear in their posts what they are thinking/needing, this is so as to avoid any godmodding. If a player doesnt want their infant understood by Naomi they can tell me in OOC
There is a small wording issue here and I want to be certain as to what you meant before I accepted this. Does Naomi become totally deaf to anyone who isn't a baby (as in, she can only hear babies) or can she just no longer innately interpret what they need (unless they tell her directly, which many would be able)?
Nono it means instead of hearing baby-talk when she's listening to an infant she can understand what they are saying. I probably didn't word this very well. Basically I was trying to incorporate Sy's power into her in some method. So I guess easiest way to reword it is IF the infant's owner says what it is the infant is needing Naomi could understand the babel. If you have a better way to word it lol please tell *brain is asleep*
