 Rebecca chuckled as she gave him some sugar and creamer. She snorted as he apologized for his language. "Don't worry about it, I have heard much worse." She listened to Michael as he said that Logan thought several of the other xmen were bonded to a certain one of their items. "I wouldn't be surprised. I wonder who else could be, aside from the xmen." She sat down on a stool, holding her cup in her hands.

"Logan's certain that Thor's likely bonded to his hammer, Mjolnir, though I wouldn't be all that surprised if someone like Magneto was... though I'd hate to be stuck with Deadpool in my head... guy ain't exactly 'normal', even by Marvel standards," he said wryly.OOC:

"And I wonder how many have been found," Rebecca said with a shake of her head. "How many more there are like us. One can only hope that the people who have found the other items aren't too bad." She smirked a little. "I know it's unlikely, but we can hope." She got up to pour herself some more coffee. "Do you need more, or do you still have enough?"

Rebecca just nodded as she pushed her cup away. That was probably enough for now. She didn't need an upset stomach later. "Well if his is around then I am sure Daredevil and maybe Elektra are as well." She brushed a strand of wet hair from her face.

Rebecca sighed as she sat back slightly. "Well I guess I wont' be seeing my parents anytime soon. I was going to go visit, but if Gaius is going to start this crap again then I wont lead him to them." She reached over to grab a bagel. She hadn't seen her parents in months and now it was going to be even longer. Well that was one of the things about the job.

Michael Callaway Michael tilted his head thoughtfully. "He won't start s**t if I decide to let Logan deal with him... knowing Logan, he'd probably put the moron down," he muttered. He had a strong feeling that something was missing, that they were missing something. He inhaled sharply, focusing on Gaius' recent foray into supposed philantrophy. He realized it was very similar to someone else. "Damn it... seems someone else is around.... if what I'm thinkin' is right, then there's a reason for Gaius' recent actions... a large reason," he muttered. Unconsciously, the tips of his claws slid out of the backs of his hands; he had a strong suspicion that Gaius was like them.... but obviously not as friendly. OOC: I think you can figure it out, considering the bonded character in question is a physically imposing person.

Kaosujin Ryu added a new character ^^ bwah ha ha..should be easy to guess which one she has.... "Someone else huh?" Rebecca said thoughtfully. As long as she had known Gaius, she had never known him to be so...helpful. There had to be a reason behind it. Like Michael, she figured he was probably like them. But whose item did he have? Her mind raced through all the good guys and bad guys she could think of. And finally she stopped on one. The Kingpin. "Ah wonderful," she muttered mostly to herself.

Michael Callaway Michael nodded slightly. "Yeah... him," he said blandly, rolling his eyes. "Could be worse... he could have a certain destructive hardhead," he said idly, referring to Cain Marko, the Juggernaut. He tilted his head thoughtfully. "Now that I think about it, it may be possible that the items are found in locations that the people that actually are bonded to them were either from or important to," he said thoughtfully. He had found Wolverine's gauntlets in Alaska, near a lake. He knew at the moment they were only hours away from New Orleans, where in the comics Gambit was known to linger often.OOC: Not hard to tell that one, lol. This post holds a hint as to the other item I had planned for Michael; BTW, Kitty Kat Rosetta likely sent a guild join, since she expressed interest in this.

"Yeah, I suppose it could be worse," Rebecca said with a nod as she looked at the watch on her wrist. It was way too early to call. She was going to have to let her parents know it was going to be even longer now before she was able to see them. They would be understanding, but she could still hear the disappointment in their voices. They had always encouraged her in the pursuit of becoming a cop, but lately she was certain they regretted it just a little bit. Considering the kind of trouble she managed to get herself into.

Rebecca looked at him thoughtfully. "I am sure there are. In fact, I may know of one." Her head tilted to side slightly as she thought about the girl in question. "She is only known by her first name, Angelina. Some people call her, Angie." She clasped her hands together in front of her. "She is quick, cunning and seems to know certain things ahead of time. Not much else is known about her except that she will work for just about anyone, so long as the price is good."

Rebecca chuckled softly and nodded. "Yeah, I heard that's her favorite weapon of choice." She stood up and stretched before taking her cup to the sink to wash it. "I've only caught a glimpse of her. She doesn't stay in one place for long. In fact..nobody knows exactly where she lives. She just seems to appear when someone has need of her."
