"I can't seem to recall...but who are you?"

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Anita could only wince when the boys jumped the gun and asked permission to stay themselves. Chinatsu wasn't used to the noise, and it totally flew over Anita's head to tell them to let her do the talking. She had to resist face-palming at her stupidity.

With a sheepish smile to both the boys and Chinatsu, Anita rubbed her green glove hands together and moved to talk with Chinatsu. She let Chinatsu give her theory, before she spoke herself. "You know how today is that day right?" Anita began, fingering the skirt of her white dress. What she was referring to was something known among the people as the False Train, which only showed up twice a year, always on time, and always empty. "Well, the Train wasn't empty this time. Those three had come off the train with actual tickets! What's a bit strange about it is that they had no idea they were on a Train to Natsu o Mashi." She paused to let it sink in as her wine colored eyes glanced over at the group that was talking. "They're human. They're men. What do you think would happen if I let them stay with me, while they waited for the False Train's next visit?" She emphasized this, due to the fact that it would answer any other question that Chinatsu could bring up.

What flashed to Anita's mind next was the writing on the tickets, but she wasn't sure whether or not it would be something the woman would want to hear. Maybe when Chinatsu wasn't in such a mood would Anita dare bringing it up, so she didn't mention it. Instead the green haired girl decided to press the matter again. "They need a place to stay until the Train comes back again, and you're the only one that can help them with that."

----------- ------ Chinatsu listened to Anita and hung onto every word that came out of her mouth, repeating them in her head with her own voice. Yes. It was the false day. Most of the time, this day would not bring anything interesting, and sometimes, there would be some new citizens that come out. . just as Chinatsu did way back when. She became somewhat distracted by the memories, but she tried to keep in her head in the game as drunken as she was. Chinatsu remembered the breeze, the clicking of her sandals, her bright, flowered kimono and her coming out of the train and coming to her new home. Her hair all curled up in that bun which was adorned with flowers that resembled her nature, wild as well as her caramel-like eyes brighter than they were now. When she heard that these recommended tenants came out of the train at this day. . well, this evening, Chinatsu was surprised, a little shocked; but she kept her cool as she opened her now dark, caramel-like eyes to look at Chinatsu in curiosity. That was why they were different, besides the fact that they were men. The first men in the city. They had good luck coming unto this place, Natsu o Mashi with the circumstances they had now. She continued listening to Chinatsu as she lay her head on her hand.

After Anita spoke, Chinatsu let a silence go by as she examined Anita's eyes. There was an odd clinging feeling to her then, as if she were puzzled about something. Chinatsu, no caring though since she was interrupted by this person, used the time to think of some things to say. In her head, she was probably thinking of a few situations. If they stayed, her apartment would bring a lot of unwanted attention from that damned journalist, what's more? More spirits would come to visit her at night because of their scent and their fresh spirit. Just great. She did wish for a few tenants to come. It was granted, but with these new tenants comes whole new world of unnecessary trouble.

"Well, to answer your question," she started, chugging some more sake, "They'd be in trouble if they stay in your cottage with the spirits that lurk there. I know, I get it. But would it not be the same if they were with me?" Well, she tried to forget the fact that she was capable of saving all their asses in her sleep and only counted the fact that she would have to go through so much work. "Of course, they will have a place to lay their heads down and be comfy," she continued, scratching the top of her head, "Unless they know a few things about spirit repelling, then what can they do? I know I'll be busy at that time." Lie. Anita even knew that after sake time in the evening, Chinatsu would be practicing calligraphy as spare time or setting out some spirit repellents around the house to keep those creatures from entering her humble abode.
