James LeoHe sat down and still watched her. Thinking tonight would be to soon to kidnap her. But tomorrow night would probably be best to do so. He folded his arms over his chest. Wanting to see what she looked like asleep.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnShe managed to get off her back. And was now swatting at the male. Rearing up he mocked her. A sharp eye would be able to spot her scar through her fur. The tiger form of Athena was knocked onto her side. Thankfully the blow was not strong enough to send her flying. Quickly she got back to her feet and growled. But the male charged her again. Only for her to swat at him again. This time she used claws and got near his throat. Now a few were-tigers got between them trying to stop the male from killing the female who did not want to mate.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Female Hunter, Jane She was with her partner only to get a back up call. Soon they could barely see the were-tigers fighting. It was clear a female did not want to mate with the male. Her fur was a red with black stripes clearly more of a Siberian tiger. As the other was an Indian branch tiger. After the female had swatted at the male again. Other were's got between them. The female walked side ways hissing and growling some more. As the male tried to get past the other were-tigers. Who clearly did not want this to turn into something bad.

Mel eventually did fall asleep. She looked so peaceful, and still clutched the book in her hand. She held onto it like a little kid would to a toy. She looked a bit younger, and by her small smile, she appeared to be having a good dream.

Roy simply watched the fight in silence. Eventually he spotted the scar, and remembered this was the tiger he injured yesterday. She seemed to have healed a bit. He nudged Jane, and whispered, too low for the weretigers to hear, "That's the one I injured a week ago. It looks like she is a resident of this city, since she hasn't gone far away." Royce knew even the most idiotic weretiger would leave town after attacked if they didn't live there, and were confident they wouldn't be caught. Still he let the fight, and attempt to stop it go on until the right moment. THey could wait until the group splits, and get as many as they could when the beasts were on their own.

James LeoHe finally got near her window and smiled. Seeing her sleeping he finally walked off. Taking his time on walking the back trails to get home. Though it was a five hour walk. He did not care. Tomorrow was one of his days off. And tonight was a night to walk.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnFinally she laid down with a couple of males standing in front of her. She was panting from stress. A sharp scent hit the Jacobson organ in her upper mouth. It was some thing to pick up on scents. A young musk scent she some how knew. Slowly her head gone up as the scent of steel dust was in the air as well. Jumping to her feet she was now growling as her ears pressed against her head. Every one else seemed to pause and sniff the air as well. A couple of the males gone looked at where Athena was staring. Her blue eyes were darker as she growled some more. Of course normally were-tigers would eat humans as a last resort like a weaken tiger or old tiger would do.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Female Hunter, Jane The were-tigers were finally slowly their fight down. Hearing Roy she nodded. And whispered back ,"Well it's always hard to find rings for were's to enter in a new town." She then noticed how the female picked up on one of their scents. Tensing up she stayed down. As two male were-tigers drew close to where they were. She had counted ten were-tigers total. Some of them standing back and pawed only to pull some kind of bundle out. Barely could she figure they were clothes bags. Which they would carry in their mouths on a run away like this.

Roy noticed the caught his and Jane's scent. He took his gun out of his pocket, and soundlessly assembled it, putting bullets in. Only tranquilizers, but he wanted to make sure they killed a few. He was set on that female dying. "Do you have your tranq gun? If we can shoot at least half, then kill them, that'll be a good day's work." he said.

========================================================= Athena BlackdawnCould hear something being put together. Of course what ever was soundless to a human was almost noisy to a were- of any kind, as long they were not deaf. She heard a few run off now with their bags. Leaving about five of them now. Carefully she slink off and gone down wind. Her stripes helped her blend into the night shadows of tall grass, bushes, and over hung branches shadows. Now it was only her and three males left over. Including the one she had fought with earlier. One of them acted as bait. Well the other two helped her to take out the hunters. Taking their time on sneaking up on them.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Female Hunter, Jane She carefully got her tranq gun ready as well. Then noticed a shortage of were-tigers. Frowning she stayed still as she could. Only one tiger was in their sight. Nervousness took her over now. A small lump formed in her throat now. Of course a tiger even a were-tiger could hide rather well in the night shadows. She did not bother with much light sources. Since the full moon acted as a guide now.

Royce noticed the shortage. "Shoot that one, and I'll keep lookout for the others." he whispered. They were hard to spot at night, but he would know where they are by their eyes. Those shone no matter where they were, and there was no way to hide it. If they relied on smell and sound alone, they could potentially attack, but depth perception would be off, and most of the time that made all the difference.

========================================================= Athena BlackdawnShe noticed the scent of rain again. Clouds moved in front of the full moon. Of course light would reflect their eyes. But now was the time to move with lack of light to show her eyes. Noticing where Royce was she now behind him. Well a couple of feet and in a bush hunched down.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Female Hunter, Jane She had put a tranq into the bait tiger. Only to watch him stumble now. Hearing some more noise she frown. Then she could not see any eyes. Realizing the rain clouds were covering the moon now. Sighing quietly she waited.

Royce frowned as clouds covered the moon. That would make things harder, but not impossible. His back was to Jane, since he was covering her, and noticed almost behind them, a movement in the bushes. They may be able to creep along, but the grass, trees, and shrubs still moved. He smirked, pointed the gun at Athena, and pulled the trigger. He just hoped he did it quick enouth. There was always a chance of dodging. He heard the other weretiger stumbling. Jane must have shot it. Probably in the side since he stumbled before crumpling.

========================================================= Athena BlackdawnShe noticed a gun pointed at her. Barely, just barely she dodged the tranq. Most were-tigers did something tigers would not do. And that was attack the pray who faced her. Some how she managed to dodge another tranq. Before pinning Roy down now. Leaning her head down she sniffed him some more.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Female Hunter, Jane She continued to keep an eye out for another weretiger. And hearing Roy's muttering she frowned. Then shifted a bit to get a better look at the were-tiger that she had tranqed now. It was breathing a bit uneasily as it laid on his side. Hearing Roy in shock she turned around and seen the female were-tiger lean down and sniff Roy. As her paws held Roy's wrists down. In shock she did not know what to do.

Royce scowled when she dodged. He grunted when he was knocked down. He tried to reach for his knife, but his arms had been pinned by the tiger. He looked over at Jane. "Help!" he said almost desperately. He needed his knife so he could kill this creature.

========================================================= Athena BlackdawnIt was clear he was her 'date' and now her hunter. Pulling her head back she looked at Jane. Who was sitting there in fear. Then she heard the guys roar for her to join them. To get away from the hunters. Stealing one last look. She unpinned Roy and ran off swiftly as her body would let her.
Soon she was at her hunter net covered car. One of the guys was shifted and dressed now. He held a bag of clothes out for her. She took them in her mouth and changed swiftly before putting her clothes on well hiding in a thicket of bushes.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Female Hunter, Jane She sat there in fear. The female was just smelling Roy, for now. But even when Roy yelled for help. Her body was tense. Hearing tigers roar she barely moved still. Now seeing the she-were-tiger run off she finally was able to breath. Looking at Roy ,"I'm sorry.", she was able to get out. She was sorry since she did not know how to react. Of course she normally took them out from a distance. Not being close enough to see the details of their shifted faces nor smell the spring time grass on their fur.

Royce was very glad the were-tiger got off, and didn't bite or attack him. What he wasn't glad enough was that Jane did nothing to help. He knew she was young, and she hadn't been on many missions, but her training should have made her react. Just standing there was what normal people did, and it was what made them targets. The tiger could have just attacked her as well.
"What the hell was that? It could have killed both of us, and all you would have done was sat there! You need to react!" he yelled, but softer since there was nobody else around. He knew she was sorry about not reacting, and it was probably her first time seeing one so close, but they lost too many hunters that very way. Hunters couldn't afford to hesitate. Especially since were-creatures could be anyone as humans. If they recognized a hunter on the streets during the day...things could get violent, and the hunter could think of that person only as a mugger or a psychopath.

James LeoHe had stopped when he heard voices. Hiding in the shadows. His ears picked up on people from a distance. Hearing some one yell he listened from where he stood.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnShe got to her car and drove out. As the guys drove their own vehicles out. Of course she had her plate back on her car. Now she was close to her house and was driving steadily as her nerves would let her. Finally she got home of course after breaking the speed limit with no one around to catch her in the act. Once the car was in the garage she bolted into the house. Only to turn the TV on and tried to find a show or even move to distract her now. Finding Resident Evil Degeneration on the TV she watched it.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Female Hunter, Jane She sat there only for tears to brim up now. Right now she was trying not to cry. Right now she felt so childish. But of course she was just a teenager. Normally girls worried of sex, getting knocked up, dances, and other things. She had to worry about target practice, sparring practice, and always carrying weapons. Most of this left her little time to be 'normal'. She had noticed how the female-were-tiger did not bother to smell her. It was Royce who was the main target of the scent. But she looked at Roy again. Not realizing tears were falling now. "I was trained as a steak out snapper.", she finally managed.

Royce noticed she was crying, and felt a little bad, but he was too angry to show sympathy. She shouldn't even be crying. She was a hunter. Though she was a younger one, she had to be mature enough, otherwise the higher ups would have never sent her out on the field.
"You're going to have to get used to seeing them up close. We tried to take them out from far away, but smarter ones like those see through it and get close. You have to know how to kill them and help your teammates in situations like that." he said, lecturing now more than yelling. "Now help me kill this one over here. You're sure you knocked him out?" he asked. Honestly he was surprised they hadn't taken him. Maybe it was every man/woman for him/her self out here.

James LeoHe heard Roy's voice and a girls. Then he walked off quietly. His foot steps were unheard by human ears. Finally he got home. Only to see Athena laying on the couch boredly watching Resident Evil some more.
