It was fairly brave of her, but hopefully no harm would fall upon Aria. The Doormouse placed her small hand over her face, only her blue eyes visable, and murmured the words, "Even in death may you be triumphant." If the King did somehow figure out that the Caterpillar was trying to trick him, then surely he wouldn't even hesitate to kill her on the spot...not to mention sending his little dogs after them too.
Kiyomi led her friends along one of the trails that was usually not taken by any of the royal guards, taking a slighty longer route to get to the Hatter's lovely home. Otherwise none as a place forever stuck in time at 6:00 where their famous tea parties take place. She pushed the low branches out of the way, making sure they wouldn't swing back and slap someone across the face, (even though that would entirely funny in her opinion), and lead them down the right pathways. She took many swift turns, trying to create a rather confusing trail for the King, leading false trails with their scent. It they were stupid enough to head down the wrong trail, then they were safe from them for awhile, if not...they'd have to deal with them sooner or later.
Finally though, they arrived before their home. It was well hidden of course, stuck in the middle of tall, oak trees that towered above the ground looking almost like buildings. These trees created a good source of protection from almost all ears and eyes of the forest, one of the many safe spots in Wonderland. A long, wooden table set out under one of the trees in front of the house and their were plenty of seats to take. The Doormouse gives the softest of sighs and turned to her friends with a weak smile on her face. "This should provide a nice place to stay for you Ace," she clicked her tongue and then gave a lopsided grin at him, "At least for awhile that is." ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ☞ Mood: Fairly happy ☞ Location: Hidden Part of the Forest ☞ With: Fellow Wonderlanders and Ace ☞ Thoughts: A tea party eh? ☞ (OutOfCompassion: ...) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

xxxxTewi the White Rabbit ❀"Yes,ofcourse when pigs fly." Tewi said and tried to smile. She was slightly offended, but if she spoke up about it she knew she was doomed. Tewi would never be so bold or rude around him,she truly was afraid of him. Well, she was afraid of a lot of things anyway, mainly because she was just a small rabbit. So ofcourse, she tried to ignore the mocking words like always and cover it with a few giggles or a smile.
Though, her smile quickly went away when the king had suddenly stabbed one of his guards in the chest. Her perky ears went down and layed against her head,as well as her eyes quickly went to the floor. She never did like these kind of things, not at all. Even if she witnessed many killings before, she always felt like it was the first time for her and was always disgusted with it.
The white rabbit placed her eyes back on Stephan, who was now asking her why they couldn't go into the forest. At his suggestion of a monster being there and slaying it,she shook her head. "No,there isn't a monster in the forest. Atleast, not one I've seen.." Tewi replied to him. "I just don't think the forest is the bestest place for a walk, your highness." She said lastly. She was trying to keep him out of the forest the best she could,so he wouldn't see the boy that went into Wonderland. Tewi didn't want anyone else getting in trouble, either.

Laughter can't only be for the insane... ♥♢Chesire Cat♥♢ Chesire appeared as her violet hued feline form on top of Maddie's hat. If it was One good thing Maddie could do was make a jolly good tea party..as insane as it was, it always entertained her. She took Maddie's hat and disappeared with then reappeared on Kiyomi's head wearing Maddie's hat. "say Maddie, this hat looks fine..but better on a Chesire. My fur matches just wonderfully..." Chesire looked at Tweedle Dee. "oh come now Dee, let us celebrate Ace's arrival..once that's done, its on to business.."...After all we're all mad here~

----------------------The ⓇⒺⒹ King ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------" Off with your head now. " ----------------------------- -------- -------- --------♡ "No monster?" he repeated, stopping in his tracks. Stephan did not seem pleased to hear that. After sitting around in that boring castle waiting for something to happen then having and opportunity pop in front of you and disappear at the same time. . . that was not a good thing to experience. Stephan almost wanted to cut her throat for "deceiving" him like that, but he was not childish. He wouldn't react that much over something that was never even to happen anyway. "I see." he said as he pulled out one of his daggers and threw it at one of the targets on the walls. Bullseye, as always. Being stuck there in that hall had given him time to practice throwing knives, most of the time, there was nothing else to do but just that. Besides, it helped release some of the disappointment and anger that welled up inside him that was just caused by a few words. Stephan was now itching to do something and you could see it as he ran his hand through his bright red hair. He then looked at Tewi with eyes like daggers themselves as he sighed, starting to speak with a different tone now, a more forceful one.
"I have taken many walks in the forest." he said, continuing his walk around her once more, his voice booming louder than ever before, making servants jump,"I have taken many with you as well. And everytime I have asked for you to join me, never once have you spoken a word back other than 'yes your majesty.' Why start meaningless conversations now?" The headache he had was gone now, more like it was burned into energy he could use to probably kill something or someone. Stephan was intrigued at how his subject was talking back to him now. It was different, out of the ordinary, something he could use. "And besides," he continued, quieting down as he finished one circle around her in silence, "Is it not appropriate for a king to visit his subjects once in a while? It is considered one of his duties . . . Did you not know?" He smiled another one of his cold smiles when he had said "subjects" they ere more like disposable toys. Once he was done using them as they grow worn and old, he can just throw them away---more like cut their heads off.
A loud noise, the opening of a door interrupted him and there came in the two guards he had sent after the white rabbit. Stephan looked in disgust as they came in with his different colored eyes, they had come back it seems. Unsightly trash that cannot even do its job. "Your majesty," they said, almost in a pleading tone, bowing down right behind Tewi, "It seems that she has come back, what is next for us to do?" Stephan almost wanted to kill them right on the spot. But that wasn't necessary yet. He was to indulge in their fear first. Stephan looked to his loyal White Rabbit once again. "Hmm, Rabbit." he said after a long silence as the two trembled in front of him, putting one of his hands on his sword, almost as if he had forgotten about their past conversation and is now putting all of his attention into this one, "Did you see these guards on your way back? Did they call you here? Or did you find your way here yourself?" The two guards kept their heads down as they trembled before their king. This answer from the White Rabbit would decide their fate, but which answer would save them? Stephan's face and tone of voice as he talked to them looked as if either way, they would die.

xxxxTewi the White Rabbit ❀Tewi's ears were still pressed against her head. She was a little scared that his voice got louder, almost as if he was mad at her for not wanting to go to the forest with them. She just listened and watched him with fear in her eyes and tightly held her dress from all the stress she had.
The white rabbit sighed when he was done speaking. It was obvious that she couldn't stall any longer and it didn't look like the red king was going to change his mind any soon. "If you really want to,we can take a walk in the forest, sir." She replied to him and sighed. She would figure something out on how to warn the other's to hide when they were close, maybe by making some noises to indicate that they were getting near Ace and them. That was the best she could do.
Tewi slightly jumped when she heard the doors open loudly and two guards ran inside, bowing next to her. She couldn't help but slightly feel pity for them, she was the one getting them in trouble in the first place. Just like everyone else,it was almost like everything was her fault. She was just glad Stephan hadn't found out anything about it. When he called to her,she looked up to him. "Yes?" She asked, then waited for any questions. He asked if the guards had seen her or even told her to come. She knew if she told him the truth, they'd probably get their heads cut off or be stabbed. So ofcourse, she would lie. They'd probably die anyway, but she should atleast put in some effort to prevent that. "I was taking my time setting up the traps, sir. I did see them come by,but I ignored them and continued to finish the traps so noone would come into Wonderland. When I was finished I just ran over here. I forgot to check in with them, your majesty." Tewi lied to him with a straight face, hoping maybe she had saved their lives. Though, she might've actually put her's in danger. "I apologize for the trouble, your highness." She said lastly and bowed.

The petite girl who had taken his offer of walking with them was now holding with a firm grip meant to keep the taller boy from taking any steps in the opposite direction. Ace looked between the two girls, I'm a human tug-o-war toy! he laughed though somewhere in the back of his mind he knew that the situation would probably get ugly. "Aww, come Dee it can't all be bad right? I'm sure there are sweet cakes..oh and tarts! Ace however wondered if they should be celebrating his reappearance since they were all in danger. He leaned forwards with the bulk of his lean weight and tugged the shorter girls along to catch up to the Door Mouse. The catching up part atleast was the easiest for his long gait carried Ace far rather quickly. As the brown haired boy walked, heels digging into the soft earth he hummed out aa tune. One that had been present withen his cranium for years, a quirky one he had woken up with one breezy morning. But anywho.."We can wait there for Tweedle Dum..and the others. Tweedle-Dee still questioned the idea of stopping for a Tea Party. She had hoped that they would find him a hiding spot first before anything else so that if he walks in, they have a routine plan to get Ace to safety. But a tea party is what everyone wanted at the moment and feeling outnumbered, she sighed and only nodded saying, "Only if I get to sit by you." taking the chance she had to get closer to him. Of course she knew some others would be sitting on the other side of Ace unless he was sitting at the end of the table. As she was dragged to go get the doormouse, she looked around, hoping that there was no one that was following them. A presence familiar though was nearby---Tweedle-Dum. That sly girl was probably observing Ace and I. But what was her grudge against him? What made her so angry at him? He did nothing wrong. . . Was she jealous of his popularity like Tweedle-Dee? No, that couldn't be, she isn't the type to run away. "We better find a spot where the King won't even get near. . ." she sighed, looking around cautiously at everything she saw. Tweedle-Dee was on edge, as if she was running away from something that endangered her life. She couldn't help but notice that she was much more nervous about this than Ace who was the actual target and victim of the things.

----------------------The ⓇⒺⒹ King ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------" Off with your head now. " ----------------------------- -------- -------- --------♡ He allowed a gap of silence to enter as Stephan started to think a little. The only sounds people inside could here were the trembling guards as they look down on the ground in fear and the servants walking in and out with work that needed to be done right past him. It was like the rabbit was putting all the blame on herself, did she want to die? That can't happen, she was the easiest to control out of all the pawns, the Cheshire and the Twins being the hardest. Maybe he would let the guards live this time. Stephan was in quite a generous although limited mood at the moment. He already wanted to go take that walk and this was stalling it, how annoying. Maybe he could kill them for that. But that would make him an "unreasonable" king just like his father. . in a way. Stephan had to make a decision soon or else he would just get irritated and kill them all right there. He had stopped walking as he looked at them back and forth and so, breaking the silence, his steps echoed as he said, "I see." with a thoughtful, "how-am-I-going-to fix-this" sort of face. They did follow his orders, but they didn't do the job fully because of their lack-of presence. They weren't loud enough or they weren't forceful enough, should he kill them just for lacking those qualities?
An idea suddenly hit him. An idea that put a cold smile on his face that made the guards tremble in fear. Stephan would turn this into a game. There weren't any monsters in the forest, and a simple walk would bore him. "Punishment by trial." he decided, snapping his fingers to a maid who quickly brought out his shotgun, "Let's turn this into a hunting game. It would quite entertain me on my walk." Stephan then threw another shotgun to Tewi in hopes of her catching it then looked to the guards again, loading it, "I'll give you an hour to go hide yourselves in the forest. Then I shall go find you, that sounds fair, is it not?" He had done this several times before and had learned of this kind of act in one of his books, 'The Most Dangerous Game'. Finding it interesting, he had sent a couple of maids into the forest and then went off. They were killed by midnight.
The guards looked to each other for a while, probably telling each other using some telepathy to go protest to their king. They started thinking that this was probably the best chance they had of surviving, but they wondered how long the king would pursue him. Both hoped that King Stephan would lose interest soon. Their king continued to explain as he looked at them like sitting ducks. "You have a whole 24 hours," he continued, looking at one of his servants who set a clock, "No rules. You may try and kill me. If you survive by then, you live. . . Starting now." Stephan waved his hand behind him which signaled the maid to start the watch. The guards scurried out quickly as he chuckled, wondering why he made it so that they could hide themselves in and hours time. Stephan was impatient, why could he have not made it 10 minutes?! He looked back at Tewi and smiled as he strapped his shotgun behind him. "In an hours time, we start our walk." he said as he walked to a door on the side, stopping to look back at Tewi. He was in quite a good mood now that this had happened. A hunt always excited Stephan to say the least. "Why don't you join me for tea now, it is a good time." Stephan smiled, actually almost warmly for the first time, "I'll even have carrot cakes if you would like." Carrot Dishes, he always hated them. But ah well, if it would keep him from having tea with only servants staring and either fearing or throwing daggers at Stephan. For a second there, he actually almost looked kind. Our ruthless king, kind?! Preposterous!

xxxxTewi the White Rabbit ❀Tewi waited anxiously for a reply from the king. There was actually a few seconds of silence that went through the kingdom. Even if it might've only lasted for a minute,it felt almost an hour for the rabbit girl. Then,he spoke only two words. 'I see' was the only thing that came out of his mouth. Nothing else. Tewi let out a sigh of relief. Atleast he hadn't yelled to get each of they're heads cut off or something. It seemed a little odd to her, that he wouldn't just let the guards off the hook.
That intuition she felt was right,it was a little too good to be true. Stephan announced that there would be a little hunting game. Ofcourse he had something up his sleeve, why wouldn't he? When the king threw the shotgun to her,she reached her arms out to catch it in her hands. Tewi was pondering why he would give her a gun. Did he expect her to play the game too? She didn't like that thought, even if it wasn't her first time.
The guards then ran past her and went out the door within seconds after he explained everything to them. Though, probably everyone would run out if they only had twenty-four hours. They needed every minute they had got. Tewi then looked at Stephan, who was informing her when they would start their walk. "Understood, sir." She said and nodded her head. Though, when he asked her for tea and smiled, she couldn't help but think 'this isn't some trick,is it?' in her head. She never really got to see him smile, atleast a warm smile. Most of the time they were cold and cruel smiles, but this one was a little different. "As you wish, your majesty." She said a little unsurely. However, when he mentioned that they could have carrot cakes, her ears sprung up and her eyes brightened up. She did like carrots, even more so when they were put into desserts. She liked them as much as a drug addict liked cocaine. Tewi nodded her head and smiled. "That would be nice, your highness." She replied to him.

----------------------The ⓇⒺⒹ King ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------" Off with your head now. " ----------------------------- -------- -------- --------♡ "Then let's hurry shall we?" he said after her replies, walking out the side door into the Castle Courtyard that was right next to the Rose Garden. Usually Stephan would have taken his tea in the Rose Garden, but not when today it gave him a headache. As he entered the flower-filled paradise, the sun shined and beat down its rays at him as if that celestial being was angered by his actions. As other people would, he shielded his face with his arm, soon not needed when a maid quickly put an umbrella over his head. We don't want our king getting burned by the sun now don't we? He looked to that maid and gave her one of his charming smiles. She was a new one, Stephan knew; so might as well give her some of his good side before she sees the usual brutal king. The maid blushed a bit, but then kept her stance as Stephan looked forward again with a relaxed countenance. He looked back to check if Tewi was following him and then knowing that she was, he looked to find a table with two chairs already made right by some bushes growing pink daffodils. The same table his father sat on when he would have tea with guests or his son. The same table where that old man sat when his life ended . . . Seeing it pulled a cold smirk on Stephan's face and the maid, the one he had smiled charmingly to stood back at the sight.
Stephan walked up to the table and then pulled a chair for Tewi to sit on. A gentleman must pull up the chair for the lady. That was the first thing that was taught to him as a child and he would always pull the chair out for the Duchess when she would come and visit the king, his gracious father. That was standard procedure for him now as Tewi sat down, Stephan sitting down on his own chair afterward. This was one of the first times he has ever had someone for tea and as he pulled up the chair and sat on his own, some guards couldn't help but stare. More rumors would spread soon and now he knew which one he would kill if that would happen. After sitting down, Stephan took off the shotgun that he strapped on his back and set it down beside him. He will make use of that later. Stephan as well removed his cloak and set it down over his chair. Long and annoying, he did not want it on his legs. He sat waiting impatiently for an hour to end as maids quickly scurried behind him into the castle to make tea.
It was going to be a bit before they come with the cake, so Stephan decided to start some conversation. Maybe he would talk about what he remembered, but that would be much too personal. Hm, maybe he could revive the memories of Ace. That was a fun subject. Stephan wanted to see his head roll now . . . . but before, he thought of Ace as a wonderful playmate and friend. "I wonder. . " he started, looking out into the distance as he thought of the times him and Ace played in the Garden, "It may be odd to remember it now, but I wonder how that boy, Ace, was it? I wonder how he is doing." For a moment, you could see some warmth in his face before his cold eyes came back, looking at Tewi for her answer. Thinking of how that boy did though, kind of bugged Stephan since the thought of destroying his very being always comes whenever his thoughts are cast upon the name. It was odd since before they were the best of friends and you would wonder how it could have ended up like this.

xxxxTewi the White Rabbit ❀Tewi nodded her head and followed right behind Stephan. She looked around as she followed him, looking at everything that was around them. She recognized the place they were at was the courtyard near the garden full of roses. She wondered why they didn't go in the rose garden, but it didn't really matter. Though,he did say earlier he didn't want to go to the rose garden when she insisted that they walk there instead of the woods. The courtyard was still lovely, anyway. Even if she disliked him for being ruthless at times and chopping people's heads off,she can admit that he had a nice kingdom. The garden and the castle in general was nice, everything was elegant. She might've been over exaggerating a little, though when you live underground in a hole who wouldn't be amazed by this? Certainly, anyone would. Tewi smiled and sat down in the seat Stephan had pulled out for her. He was acting a little weird today, abnormally different. They had never actually went to drink tea together or anything of that sort. She wasn't to used to it and felt a little uneasy about it,she still had an intuition that something bad was going to happen. Probably during their walk or something. She then heard him talk about something, something that made her uncomfortable. Stephan brought up Ace,even questioned how he was doing. He was in Wonderland right now, hopefully hiding somewhere. Was it just a coincidence that he brought him up as a subject? Whatever, she just had to remember not to let anything about Ace being here come out of her mouth. Simle, right? He proably didn't even know yet, probably was just pure coincidence. "Ace..? Sorry, sir, but I'm not exactly sure who that is." She replied to him. It was true, she didn't know about him. Atleast, before she met him today. "Well, despite me knowing him,I think he's just fine now. I'm just assuming,ofcourse.." Tewi replied to the king.

But anywho, "Whoa, look at all of the tea sets." the ever goofy boy exclaimed while his feet came to a halt once entering the Hatter's hidden Estate. Tea pots and cups of all sizes were layed about the table in seemingly random order. Pots with three spouts and cups missing half its bowl were to be seen. Jars meant for jam or sugar were present along with the colorful collection of chairs all pulled out waiting to be occupied by guests thanks to Kyomi. "Wish my table was set with these niffty stuff." he joked, poked at Maddie lightly with his elbow. Any dark thoughts that had been clouded his mind mere moments before were seemingly banished as a more childish side pushed its way through. Ace was becoming comfortable around these mix of characters so it was only natural his unpedigree side showed a tad bit. Ace stepped forwards a bit bringing the nervous Dee and happy Maddie with him as his need to touch the crazy drinking glasses tugged at his wondering mind. They are still warm! he noticed, the pad of his index finger resting on a tea pot while he crouched to peek at its nearly smooth surface. They didn't admire the container long though as Kyomi and Cheshire dreww his attention away. "You should see the hats women where to the ballrooms they're huge! Decorated with feathers and berries or lace and sparking ribbons...they don't look as good on me as you guys though." the last part was humorously mumbled while he flicked his gaze elsewhere for a moment. It was true, Ace had indeed "borrowed" one of his brother's fiancées hats to try on. It had been a game of dares that his clever brother had begun one afternoon in search of passing the time with a bit of humor. One thing led to another and both men were caught in the girl's room aligning the rather heavy hat upon his head. She was not pleased and Ace was later found scrubbing tile floors as punishment for his play, the maid that day was happy and thanked the brown haired boy even. Carmel hued eyes peeked back up at the little Door Mouse as she spoke, peering through the handle of the tea pot to gaze at the blonde who was resting her head and arms on the lengthy table. She wants to sit by me too? the male pondered, running through the possible outcomes to the situation. He assumed that the offer was going to be given multiple times this afternoon..or morning? Maybe evening! Who knows.. Ace stood up and hooked his fingers into his pockets, "Well dear ladies, I can't sit by anyone if no one is sitting." he cleverly pointed out. As a trained gentleman he would seat all the girls first, pushing in their chairs for them, before he was to seat himself. Something he had been taught to do and couldn't break out of just because his family was absent. Ace gestured to the chair infront of him offering one of the girls be it Cheshire or whomever present, to sit.
