If Shin realizes there has been a problem then he knows that the problem is someone who can end us all if he chooses. Ashton crossed his arms and changed his facial expression to something more serious,"If you must know...A little while ago, Me, the Kazekage, the Kage of the Rain Village and a few genin confronted a new group of akatsuki and they were stronger than the previous akatsuki because....and bare with me here". Ashton took a deep breath,"A green haired rouge shinobi is a Dark jinchuriki and has captured the Nine Tails....". This was the last thing Ashton wanted to think about because of the situation they were put into. It is a dark age alright and it was about to get worse.
Ashton leaned his head to the side to get a look at who entered the room,"Ah yes please step forward".Ashton was pointing at Setu to step forward so that he can get a better look at him. "Why have you come to my office? Is there something you request?", Ashton had alot on his hand, but adding one more would not hurt him.
The walk from the apartments to the Tsuchikage's office had been, as normal, uneventful. Villagers were going about their normal daily routines, children ran through the streets playing tag, or whatever other game it was that kids played these days, and young Genin, or those soon to be, came and went in their respective groups and pairings. That made the blond frown softly under his half mask, he could possibly be given a group of Genin to train this year... Hopefully the Tsuchikage wouldn't do that to him... Though who was he to refuse what was requested of him by the man? If that was the job he were to be assigned, then as the man's dog and servant he had no right to say no. Not that he could actually say that in the first place. He could shake his head, stamp his foot, waves his hands and even write the word in all capital letters... But he couldn't vocalize his refusal. Not to mention how would it look for the Tsuchikage to have one of his Jounin refuse a task that he gave to them?
He gave a light huffing sigh as he neared the building that housed the man's office. He paused outside, looking up at the large structure that could easily overlook the entire village. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing to have to train a group of Genin... It would give him something to do to pass the days, maybe even force him to cut down on his nightly 'activities'. A slight smirk pulled at the corner of his mouth, Doubtful. They would only be a nuisance.... His mismatched gaze slowly traveled down the building to the set of stairs that would lead him up and to the Tsuchikage's office. The man was probably already swamped with work and business... As the leader of Iwagakure, it came with the territory to stay busy. That would mean that the blond wouldn't be able to tease or play with him... Such a pity. After the haze of last night, he would have enjoyed a bit of reprieve from any sort of memories that might try to surface from the guilt of his actions. He silently shook his head, his long hair bouncing against his shoulders and hood before he started forward again, slowly beginning his climb up the stairs.
How best to approach this... Should he simply walk to the office and knock? That would be the polite way to go about it, but even now, Kiel wasn't known for being overly polite. Sneak in? No, he didn't feel like someone thinking him an intruder. Simply waltz in? He was about halfway up the stairs now, the door to the office nearly in sight. That sounded more like what he would do, just walk in and stand in the office. Bow of course to show respect to his Tsuchikage, then stand and await further orders. But that would be rather boring wouldn't it? Maybe I am in a boring mood. he mused, listless eyes shifting outward from the door to what of the village he could see beyond the stairs. It was truly a magnificent sight, homes and shops, living and working places all carved from the very earth itself. The people of Iwagakure were strong of heart and soul, hardy people that weren't afraid of a good day's work. Or at least, most of them were. There were always that handful that liked to slack off and try to skirt around an honest day for the easier, quicker dollar or reward. He paused on the stairs, watching as below him a group of what looked like academy students ran through the street, laughing as they chased after one another, their faces bright and joyful, their hopes and dreams for the future still fresh and growing... They had yet to see the reality of what being a ninja truly meant, the harshness of what the world really held, and the emptiness that an existence could actually hold. They would learn soon enough, he was sure of it, turning away he continued his way up the steps, his foot falls silent as a whisper as he moved.
As he came to the Tsuchikage's door, he paused, finding it open already. He arched a slender brow, stepping closer and pausing as he heard voices from within. One was a younger male's, demanding information that he probably shouldn't have, and the other the Kage's, willingly giving said information to the other. Kiel rolled his eyes and gave a soft huff, honestly, sometimes the Kage was too open for his own good. Stepping into the doorway, the blond paused, mismatched eyes looking over the room and those within it with a cold indifference. There were three, including the Tsuchikage. The other two were, if he remembered correctly, Genin. The shorter, dark haired one was Seto Aubaun, and the taller was Shin Urameshi. The Jinchuriki... Hmm. His gaze finally settled on the Tsuchikage, Ashton Uchiha. Why does the Jinchuriki want to know what's been going on... What does it matter to him at the moment? He should be focusing on training, not on matters he has little power over at the moment. He bowed respectfully to the Tsuchikage, his long blond hair falling over his shoulders as he did so before he straightened once more, waiting to see the outcome of events, and to see what else the Jinchuriki wanted from the Kage.
Seeing many of the people enter the office Setu kept quiet thinking to himself mostly in anger of thoughts. 'To many people, to many people, to much noise, to much to much,.....' trailing off in thought as his appearance was a bit on the ragged side of things. Keeping watch of things as he thought to himself his weight shifted slightly to the right as he was then talked at. "Were am I supposed to go?" Asking direct on the subject as he hadnt the slightest of idea on what team he was with and who he was supposed to be with. Not to mention the fact his mind came back to the idea of being in teams with other people. Shuddering at the thought a bit he let it subside as he was keeping focus on the Tsuchikage. Having loyalty to the land at the very least compared to his mother, and even less so to others around himself it was obvious he was not suited well for much other than physical combat as it showed from how ragged the cloths looked around his legs and arms. Having coming from his own house the cloths were still on the clean side, but still showed a bit of how dirty he usually was compared to most days. Wondering on the possible side of things he knew that he was gonna wait for the time being to figure out where his exact being needed to be at.
After a long, diligent walk, Kurisu found himself standing before the Office of the Tsuchikage himself. What an honor it was for him; first the Academy granting him the title of Genin, and now the clan's approval to join a squad of the village. Butterflies were building in his stomach as he walked closer to the doors. What do I say to the leader of our village? What if I make a fool out of myself? Or worse the clan? What would my father have to say about that?...The boy placed his hand on the door handle as he inhaled his last deep breath before entering. It was time to make a lasting first impression before the Tsuchikage's pressence.
Tugging lightly on the door, Kurisu made his way into the main office of the Tsuchikage himself. He tried to divert his eyes from wandering about the room; seeing how it could be portrayed as nosy. It had seemed that the office was rather busy today as multiple shinobi requested an audience with the kage. The butterflies began to fester as he sat in wait; it gave him time to think about what he was going to say, and how he was going to say it. Eventually, it was Kurisu's turn to speak as he made his way forward. He had seen the kage numerous times around the academy; more so when it came to the graduation trials. He kept his head forward, and focused.
"Tsuchikage...Im Kurisu Kuryuu, of the Kuryuu Clan. I-" Kurisu froze up on his own words as the shinobi to the right of him took a step back. As the shinboi moved away it brought another shinbi into sight; Shin Urameshi, keeper of the five-tailed-beast. Kurisu locked eyes on him for only an instance, making it sound like the boy got hung up on his own words. Not knowing what to do he ducked his head forward in a bowing motion; diverting his eyes away from Shin, and to the floor. "Please forgive me, I wish to enroll myself within a squad so that I may continue with my ninja studies." Waiting for the response of his kage, Kurisu did not dare raise his head.
Shin hadn't even heard of the Akatsuki being revived, he knew the old group consisted of nukeninja. The Tsuchikage's words were shocking, that this new group started to move. They had already captured an Jinchuuriki.. The nine tail host at that, Shin's hand gripped his forearm tightly. Were they collecting the bijuu again?! 'Is that an hint of fear Shinji?..' The Gobi's voice echoed followed by an short laugh. With his eyes shut the shinobi, spoke. "Ashton I must recant my last statement, I can not run the village from this office.... I have training to do, i will protect our home while your away. But someone else must man the helm." His eyes snapped open, a very focused and determined look fell upon the Tsuchikage. Shin wasn't the perfect Jinchuuriki, and he knew this. Him and Kokūo were on speaking terms, but he wouldn't dare releasing the seal. He couldn't even lose control of his emotions without the fear of blacking out and the Gobi taking control of his body. He felt a pair of eyes fall on him, he turned in the new comers direction; Yet another genin had come. Their stares were starting to become sickening...

Ashton moved his hair away from his eyes to get a look at how many people entered his office. We have Shin, Setu,Kiel and a newcomer named Kurisu. Before he could indulge himself by speak to them, he must first go one at a time. Ashton turned his attention back to Shin who denied his request to watch the village while he was gone."Alright Shin, I understand that the situation is a bit heavy if I place it on your shoulders....I guess I have to watch over the village and not go the ther chunin exams", Ashton did smile when he said he will protect our home so Ashton felt more secure now that there some one willing to help in our hour of need.
Ashton then turned his attention to the boy named Kurisu,"You are forgiven Kurisu...I will see to it that you are placed in a squad as fast as possible". With that, he turned his attention to Kiel who graced his presence into my office,"Kiel..I see you have come to visit. How fortunate! Because now that you are here not only are you able to aid me in the protection of my village, but you will see to it that you watch over Kurisu as his sensei. I wanted you to be assigned a squad because since it was so peaceful now, there was nothing for you to do, but now the time has changed and our fate may soon fall. So I want ever genin to be as strong as possible if they are able to take care of themselves without having their Sensei strapped to their backs like an irremovable book-bag. I hope you see to it and come back to my office later because...I need to inform you about to situation that the Shinobi World is facing".
Ashton exhaled because that was a mouth full. He leaned on his chair before looking at the direction of Setu. The boy seemed nervous in some way probably because he has no idea what to say,"So tell me child...What is your request because I have to get going soon to Kirigakure".Ashton smiled at him with a calm and cool face to show that it was fine to ask what he requests.
Kiel stood by the door silent and still, his listless mismatched gaze, while mainly focused on the Tsuchikage, also watched the Genin gathered from his peripherals. They seemed on edge... Anxious even, as if they were more than ready to start their new lives as ninja of the Rock Village. It was good, in a way, that they were all soo eager, it would make it easier for whomever they fell under to train. Hopefully the would be attentive, and make good use of the current down time to hone their skills before something serious happened, and from the way the Tsuchikage spoke, that time might be sooner than expected. Another Genin entered the office, a youth with light brown hair and green eyes... Who was this one now... Kuryuu was it? The young Shinobi immediately began to introduce himself, though he quickly started to stumble on his own words. Wait... No... Sharp eyes caught the reason he had paused. The boy was looking at the holder of the Five Tails. Interesting... He wondered if the two had a past of some sorts, and if so, what was it? He could learn later... if the information would be useful to him in some way.
The boy then bowed and apologized, requesting to be placed into a squad to further his skills. All so eager... So very eager... the blond thought to himself, his face betraying no sign of emotion, not even his eyes changed from the listless glaze that seemed to nearly constantly cover them. The five tails spoke, saying something about not being able to abide by the Tsuchikage's request of watching over the Village during the Chunin exams, interesting since the male had seemed so eager to learn about what was going on before. The blond wondered what had made him change his mind... Perhaps the possible reality of the situation had dawned on him and he felt he was inadequately prepared? The question would remain unasked, and unanswered as the Kage replied to him, saying that it was fine and that he would simply not attend the Chunin exams. Now Kiel did make a slight reaction, his eyes moving just the slightest, eyelids closing no more than a fraction as if narrowing before opening again. The Tsuchikage not attend the Chunin exams? That wouldn't do, it would be like telegraphing to the rest of the Shinobi world that there was something wrong with their Village. Now was not to the time to try to speak on this point though... Not that the blond could speak anyway.
The Tsuchikage next directed his attention to the Kuryuu male, forgiving him and telling him he would be placed in a squad right away, and Kiel suddenly got the feeling that he did not want to be here with so many unplaced Genin. As their leader turned to him, he could almost already guess what the man was going to say to him, and as the Uchiha started, he confirmed it. Take the Kuryuu boy as his pupil. Train him and make him stronger. Of course... That was one of his duties after all, wasn't it? To train Genin... Kiel looked to the Tsuchikage, his face blank and eyes void of emotion as he continued, finishing by saying that he wanted him to come back later today to speak with him about the current situation. "...." Now Kiel moved, bowing deeply to the Tsuchikage, his long hair falling over his shoulders as he did so. Straightening, he looked to Kurisu, his head turning to let his heterochromatic gaze rest on the boy. He would need to pull his file from the Academy, find out what the boy had excelled in and what he had failed in. Training would find what he was currently good at and what he was weak in as well, but that would mean he would have to spend more time with the kid. What the ******** am I supposed to do with this kid... Jeeze... Looks like I won't be going out tonight... ********' aye. His business concluded for now, and with his task given, he again turned to look at the Kage, bowing in departure and starting to turn, pausing long enough to look at Kurisu and raise a hand, his index finger curling in a 'come along' motion before he started out of the room, not waiting to see if the young Shinobi was following him or not.
He started down the stairs, mentally sighing. So today marked the day that he officially became a 'sensei' then did it? Fantastic. How would he start this Genin's training? And where? The Training fields? Maybe... Perhaps by the water... What was his Chakra element anyway? Knowing that might have helped a little... Did the boy even know his Chakra element at the moment? Then he realized something as he started down the stairs. The boy didn't have a partner currently... Which meant that any and all training... was going to have to be done with him. Fan.. ********... tastic. he thought with a light roll of his eyes. Less time out at night, more time rummaging through things and missions to train the boy on. Less time sleeping, more time working. Less time alone... More time with other people. Not only that, but the Tsuchikage was bound to give him more Genin. A Jounin's squad normally ran three strong, rarely were they tasked with a single charge to look after and train. Now he would have to deal with children and the drama that they brought along. Boys and their rivalries, girls and their silly crushes... By the Gods... Please don't let him give me a girl... Boys will be bad enough... he thought. Already he figured that the children would initially mistake him for a girl, and if he got a male with a cocky enough attitude, he would probably try to think that his feminine appearance meant that he was actually physically weak and incapable of handling himself. <******** children... Now I'm going to have to prove myself to a bunch of fresh from the Academy Genin?! This is going to be tiresome... But it is the Tsuchikage's will that I do this... Who am I to argue. he mentally sighed once more, listening for the sounds of the Genin to ensure he was with him as he paused at the bottom of the steps for him to catch up.
Shin still had about hundred questions about this new Akatsuki. But he felt that Ashton had said everything he knew about the situation. At lease he had an description of this Dark Jinchuuriki, an pretty generic description. An lead none the less, "Lord Tsuchikage, if you need anything I'm never far away." Shin had to much on his mind, he needed to meditate. Before his next training session, new justu plus an chaotic state of mind never really ended ended well for Shin. The man turned and pasted the genin on his way out of the office. His crimson scarf whipped behind him as he headed for the door. He brushed pasted the Jounin standing on the bottom step. "Oh- Excuse me Kiel," The Jinchuuriki said before he jumped away, an blur of red, brown, and navy blue was seen heading towards the training grounds. ~[exit]~
Kurisu's hair draped over his eyes as he looked down at the floor. His hands, shaking ever so lightly as the boy clenched his fists; bringing the shaking to an abrupt halt. Suddenly, Kurisu received a response from the Tsuchikage. He was rather kind, and forgiving, and for that Kurisu was most grateful. He lifted his head to acknowledge his highest superior, "Thank you Lord Tsuchikage, I will do my best." With that being said, Kurisu fell back into line as the kage addressed the next shinobi. As he stepped back, the boy took one last glance at Shin before he disappeared from his line of sight. Everly little feature, every trait about him, burned into the back of the boys mind. Raw emotions kindled deep down as he waited for the group to be dismissed from the office.
As Kurisu stood at ease with the others he was surprised to find how quickly the kage was to act on his requests. For within the minute of asking to join a squad the Tsuchikage had found him a sensei to look up to for guidance. Although Kurisu's face may not have shown it, but he was excited to learn from a superior shinobi; he didnt really care who. From what he gathered his sensei's name was Kiel, and he was rather...feminine? But Kurisu wasn't gonna be one to judge; if the kage entitled Kiel with being Kurisu's teacher then it must have been for a good reason. As Kiel turned to Kurisu, he felt a vibe of disgust from his teacher as he signaled him to follow like an untrained pup.
The walk out of the office was rather awkward as well as Kurisu followed closely behind his teacher. He felt like he should break the ice, but he just didnt know what to say. After his little display in the kage's office Kurisu decided that he would just keep quite for now. Moving diligently down the steps Kurisu tried to keep up with Kiel.
What the hell am I going to do with this kid... Again the question came to mind as he paused on the bottom steps, his fingers curling slightly into his palm to let the tips of his nails play with the hem of his sleeves. What would he do? What would be the best course of action. Of course he would need to learn about what the kid could do, what his strong points were... That seemed logical enough. Then maybe work with the Tsuchikage about getting him a few missions, something not too difficult that he couldn't accomplish on his own. How well he showed himself today would give the blond a sort of base to start with. Which meant, he was going to have to take the role of training partner and practice dummy. He listened as footsteps followed behind him, somewhat glad for the child's obedience. However as he listened, he realized that there were two pairs following him. One was the hurried and slightly awkward sounding steps of the young Genin, and the other... The sound of a voice had him shifting, mismatched eyes turning to look at who the other person was. It was the holder of the Five Tailed Beast as he came around him. The man quickly ran off, and the blond watched the young Genin out of the corner of his eye. What was that... That feeling that glimmered through those green eyes... He would find out.
The boy seemed... awkward and out of place. During the decent Kiel could almost feel it, and now that he had stopped and actually turned to look at the Genin, he could see that the boy seemed to be struggling for something to say. Probably simply wanting to ease whatever tension he thought he felt between the two. Honestly, though Kiel had not really wanted to become this boy's, or any other Genin's for that matter, sensei. However it was a task that he had been given by his Kage, and it remained a part of a Jounin's job to mentor the young. So here they were. The youth was almost as tall as he was, maybe an inch more so, but that was fine, it meant that Kiel didn't have to look up at taller ninja while he was training them. Speaking of which... His half disinterested gaze shifted from the Genin as he registered that he was still with him, and he started walking again. He would take him to Crystal Lake to train as opposed to using the training grounds. There were bound to be other Shinobi using the training grounds, and the blond much preferred the scenery at the lake to the plain grassy field.
Again he didn't say a word, the only thing showing that he wanted the other ninja to follow him was his hand raising and motioning him forward. Kiel stepped out into the streets with an easy pace, his listless gaze seeming straight ahead yet watching everything he could see. Perhaps he would see just what this kid knew first. Start from there. Maybe he wouldn't even need the Academy's files after all.
As he reached the bottom of the steps Kurisu stood in wait along side his newly appointed teacher. He didn't really know what to say to his new teacher, or if his teacher wanted to talk to him at all in the first place. So Kurisu chose to not speak, until spoken to, as they walked out into the streets of Iwa.
The streets were cluttered with people on this morning; filled with vendors near, and far. It was kind of distracting, but at the same time amusing. After a few blocks of walking Kurisu could see the training grounds. I was rather large, and open, and...we were walking right past it. Kurisu didnt understand. Wasn't this where all the upper class ninja trained? "Um Sensei," he unexpectedly spoke. "Where exactly are we heading?" Seeing how they just passed the grounds it was clear that they weren't heading there. He didnt know if he would get a response from Kiel and, to be honest, he really wasn't expecting one as they continued to their destination.
((@Battle_Ram: Sorry, I adjusted my character's age/height/weight in responce to the age rule recently applied. Also, if you want to post at Crystal Lake ill be sure to catch on.))
Shifting weight slightly again, to his left side, Setu took in a bit of air as he let the words come to his mind first. It was apparent that he was trying to calm himself down as he didnt like being in large crowds. For him a large crowd consisted of anyone more than himself. "What squad am i placed in?" Asking strait out as he had not the slightest clue where to go to, or where he was meant to be at. No letter was given to him as of yet, and he was even sure where he was supposed to live at for the time being or just stay at his own place with his mother. Knowing it was acceptable in any situation for living for him he didnt like the idea of not knowing where he was gonna go or where he was gonna stay.

Another one? Ashton did not expect so many genin to ask for a sensei. Usually they train themselves because they don't need a supervisor. "You know...I think it is time for me to do something besides doing nothing. Alright child, you need a squad yet there is no squad being put together. So how about I train you myself !", Ashton chuckled at his decision to train a genin. This could be interesting for him, "However we have to postpone our training later because I have business to take care of at Kirigakure. When I return we will train...".
Nodding a bit, Setu gave his respects of a bow and then slowly walked out as he knew he had everything he needed figured out. Walking slowly to the door it was obvious he didnt give a darn about anyone in the room except for his own self. Keeping quiet and to himself his mentality hadn't changed much except to get more frustrated. 'Must get out of this building, must get out. Its to much, very to much.' Thinking to himself as he was leaving the room and went down the stairs. Grumbling under his breath as he left the room he felt very tense and was thinking on how to fix the mood. 'Might as well do some more physical work again,' thinking unto himself as he did not much care for anything else to do. Leaving the building he slowly went to the fields where he could train.
