Koras hesitated, then reluctantly made a little so-so motion with his hand, still watching the two Pikachu warily; it wasn't Electric-types that he was afraid of, more electricity in general - if it made so much as a little static, it freaked him out.
Fortunately for Koras, that wasn't going to be a problem much longer; the Pikachu glared back at Gibbs and growled, only to yelp as Jet used a low-powered Steel Wing on it, causing "Pikachu's" form to flicker before changing, revealing that it was just a Zorua trying to look like a Pikachu, probably in an attempt to woo Sweets... apparently it was rather young, too, because it looked like it was about to cry just from the one hit.
Upon seeing that there was one less source of zappy pain in the area, Koras managed to relax, his eyes softening as he looked at the young Pokemon. He leaned down and began to gently soothe the Zorua until it calmed down.

Zorua ate the berry and recovered almost immediately. Now that it was all better, it returned its attention to Sweets, a completely lovestruck look on its face as it licked the Pikachu affectionately and nuzzled it.
Koras wasn't sure whether to be amused or exasperated by the little fox-like Pokemon's antics. He wordlessly got out a Pokeball and placed it next to the furry creature, an unspoken offer to come with them if it wanted to; it was rather cute, it would probably keep stalking them in order to be with Sweets anyway, and Koras could see how that Illusion ability it had could be helpful - all good reasons for it to join their little group.

Koras nodded, looking rather amused as he gently nudged the ball toward Zorua so the Pokemon would notice it; the little Dark-type was way too fixated on Sweets to notice it otherwise.
The Zorua blinked, snapping out of its little love-daze as it turned to look at the Pokeball. Getting the general idea, it happily nudged the button on the ball with its nose, allowing itself to be caught without so much as a tremble from the Pokeball.
Koras picked up his new Zorua's Pokeball and quickly registered it in his Pokedex, examining its stats.

Kitsune - Lvl 11 Zorua
Ability: Illusion
Nature: Naive
Moves: Incinerate, Leer, Pursuit, Fake Tears

Naturally, it was at this point that Kitsune popped out of its Pokeball with a lovestruck look on its face and started trying (and failing) to climb up Lilian in order to get closer to its Electric-type crush, much to Koras's amusement; you had to give the little Pokemon points for persistence, at any rate.
Interestingly enough, it was at this point that some voices were heard in the distance.
"...got to get that Zorua back, or we're going to be in deep trouble! It's bad enough that we lost Project Chorus a while back!"
"Calm down and shut up, we'll find it; it can't have gone far, it's a twenty-seven-pound Pokemon on four little legs - I highly doubt it could cover that much distance from the lab in just an hour without having to rest."
Kitsune (and, interestingly enough, Koras too) tensed at the sound of the voices, obviously recognizing the people who owned them and just as obviously ready to bolt.

(...Zorua have shoulders? eek )

Koras hesitated, then nodded before returning all his Pokemon to their Pokeballs except Jet and Kitsune and heading a little ways away - not too far, of course, but still a fair distance. Apparently the general idea was that he'd be fine as long as he wasn't TOO close to the source of zappy pain.
Thinking quickly, Kitsune transformed into a Pikachu and got into position alongside Sweets.
Soon the voices came closer, coming out into the small clearing and revealing themselves to be a pair of Team Rocket grunts, albeit ones with odd goggles. One of them smirked and pointed at Kitsune, somehow seeing through its illusion - probably something to do with the goggles. "See? What'd I tell you - it's right here."
The other Rocket member smirked as well. "Looks like it." He looked up at Lilian, not yet noticing Koras, who had stiffened at the sight of the Team Rocket members. "Hey, girly, hand over the Zorua if you know what's good for you!"

(Well, I was trying to make a joke there, but all right.)

Koras tensed up a little, but other than that, he seemed to be fine.
Kitsune, on the other hand, was momentarily side-tracked as it rubbed its cheek right back with that lovestruck look on its face again before snapping out of it and facing the Rocket members again.
The calmer of the two (which shall henceforth be referred to as Rocket #1 for convenience's sake) looked rather amused. "Figures... all right, go, Jolteon!"
"Go, Rhydon!"
The two Pokemon in question appeared, the Rock-type of the two towering over the Pokemon. The Jolteon, however, seemed to smell something, and sniffed the air before turning to Koras and getting him out of hiding with a Pin Missile, forcing him out where the Rocket Grunts could see him.
Rocket #2 grinned upon seeing the boy. "Well well well, if it isn't the boss's escaped little pet project."
Rocket #1 nodded, smirking. "You handle the Zorua and the trainer - I've got our melodic friend here."
With that, Rocket #1 and the Jolteon headed over to Koras, Rocket #2's Rhydon using a Rock Slide attack to make a wall of rocks keeping the rest of the group from reaching the quiet boy.
Meanwhile, a strange boy was floating a couple dozen feet in the air above the battleground, examining both sides of the fight with his Shiny Duskull at his side. 'Come on, Koras... show me what you and your girlfriend there can do.'

The grunt just smirked. "Jolteon, Discharge."
The Jolteon replied by shooting several bolts of lightning... which all curved to hit the group from a variety of angles. Unfortunately, they forgot about Koras's little phobia when it came to electricity...
Koras abruptly panicked and let out a loud screech; however, rather than merely bursting one's eardrums like a normal screech would do, this particular one had enough force behind it to generate transparent shockwaves that not only blasted the electricity off-course, but also tore up the ground and caused the Jolteon to be blasted off its feet. The electric-type Eeveelution was smashed literally THROUGH a tree, getting stuck in it. It looked like it was on its last legs, though it wasn't K.O.'ed yet.
The Rocket Grunt blanched. "Crud... I forgot he could do that... Jolteon, use - " WHAM!
Apparently Jolteon wasn't going to be using anything anytime soon, because it was knocked out by a Steel Wing from the nearly-forgotten Jet, which seemed rather pleased with itself as it perched on Koras's shoulder.
The Rocket Grunt, finally realizing he was in over his head here, tried to bolt, only to be knocked out when Kitsune used Pursuit on him, the dark-type looking even more pleased with itself than Jet. It basked in the glory of its win for a moment before returning to its usual activity: following Sweets like the lovestruck puppy (or rather, fox kit) it was.

Koras nodded, though he was still trembling a little from the close call back there. Admittedly, his throat felt a little sore, but that tended to happen when you used Hyper Voice with a body that wasn't built for it.
Kitsune, meanwhile, was looking his Electric-type mate over, obviously concerned. After a moment, obviously satisfied she was all right, he turned back into his Pikachu illusion and rubbed his cheek against hers like she had back in the woods.

Kitsune smiled happily, following after the rest of the group (read: Sweets) with the usual lovestruck look on its face.
Koras gave Lilian a thankful smile as he sat down, taking the glass of water and drinking it gratefully. Noting how the baby Abra seemed concerned for him, he gave it a reassuring little grin.
"Quite the interesting little fight you had back there in the forest, if a bit short."
At the sound of that voice, Koras blinked and turned to regard the strange boy who had spoken and his Shiny Duskull in puzzlement. He was pretty sure that guy hadn't been sitting there when they came in, and he hadn't seen him enter, either...
Kitsune was even more puzzled than Koras, walking over and sniffing the Duskull's trainer curiously. He then checked the boy's pulse, much to said trainer's obvious amusement, only to look even more puzzled... which began a long cycle of Kitsune sniffing the trainer, then checking his pulse, then looking up at said trainer in bafflement, then repeat. Eventually, Kitsune just came back over to the rest of the group and plopped down, sitting and staring at the unknown boy in a way that indicated much, much confusion.
The boy just chuckled. "Curious little thing, aren't you?" he quipped to the foxlike Pokemon, the Duskull now resting on his head.
