Rowan stumbled back from the second hit, nearly falling. She stared at Frederick, tears welling up in her eyes. She trembled against his grip. His words hit like a slap to the face. Tears streamed down her face as she bowed her head, loud sobs choking her voice. He was right... A few people turned to look at them, many not knowing what was happening but seeing the light bruise on the woman's cheek.

"Just like I did before... Just like the strong for the weak. I will carry you! Even if you don't want me too!" He would pick her up by the waist. Throwing her on his shoulder. He would then grab the mouths of the raptors. "And we will make it through the days. Day by day. Week by week! I am never going to let you down Rowan!" He would start heading to the wizards sentinel guild. Carrying them all to the place. He grunted heavily as he dragged the raptors behind him.

Rowan hung helplesly, crying uncontrolably as she did. She wiped her eyes weakly in an attempt to wipe her tears away, staring at the dragging raptors behind them. She'd have to live. If not for herself, then for the person helping her.

The sentinels eyed him. "What are you doing with that woman!" They demanded as they would grab their weapons. The elementals coming to life as they blocked the entrance.
"She is struggling with internal issues. I've come bearing food." He lifted the two raptor heads beside him. "I am looking for work as well. So If your cooks can make me something quick..." He glanced up to Rowan. "I can get to work with something right away." He added as he looked back to the sentinels."
The Sentinels would think it over. The senior would nod. "Of course... please come in." They stepped out of fredericks way.
Frederick would drag everything in through the broken down door. Taking it to the dining hall. Though mostly just a mess of tables and a broken down wall that lead to the kitchen. He would drag the raptors to the kitchen. "These are for you."
The chefs nodded. Drawing out Abnormally large meat cleavers. They started chopping...

Rowan's crying had lessened by the time they arrived, her eyes left red and puffy. She stared at the ground, tuning out the world and the sentinels as her mind wandered to old memories. She looked towards Frederick. "Put me down...." she said quietly.

He took a seat on a bench. Placing her down in front of him. "I'm sorry for doing that Rowan..." He admitted as he felt her cheek. "You ok?"

Rowan flinched when he touched her cheek, a bruise welling on the spot. She nodded. "I'm alright... It helped...." she said quietly. It stung. "I...won't die. I promise. I'll live... like you did..." she added quietly, though her eyes fairly dull. "

"Nothing like I did. I turned to becoming a criminal when I lost my family." He said as he would pull her onto his lap. "You have to find your own path as well... following me won't find you anything. Please Rowan. You have to try. Try as hard as you can at everything." He held her hand again. Rubbing her cheek as he examined her eyes. "I... I want to like you, you know?" He tried to grasp onto what he was trying to say. "I mean, you we're so lively when we left. Before ruin, I don't want to give up on you, but the longer this goes on. The more I feel like your pushing me away... and ultimately. No matter how strong I become. No matter how much I try to will you to continue on. I can't... I can't do that unless you want too at least try. When I see you like this... it hurts. It hurts to watch you throw yourself away. It hurt even more when you asked me to kill you..."

Teaes fell down her face again, she nodded silently. "I'm sorry...." she whispered. "It hurts... badly... I want to scream, kick, jump off something, die.... but I will try to hang on... You're all I have left now... everyone else is gone... if not for me then I'll live for you...." she said.

"I... I guess that is the best I'll get out of you right now..." He would stroke her hair for a few moments. "I am going to go earn myself a name and get some more food. I am sure with all the holes in these walls. Ruin animals will be abundant." He placed his hand on her lap close to her knee. "Please rest. I don't want you to hurt yourself... and I don't want to come back to something crazy." He would smile to her. "Maybe I'll find something to chere you up... ok?" He stroked her hair. "Maybe a hair clip or a ribbon... I hear that is what the ladies love when they are down." He tried to joke with her now. Maybe that would enlighten her a bit.

Rowan stared at him, the faintest smile tugging at her lips at his words. "Ribbons are pretty..." she remarked, soothed a bit by him. She leaned on him slightly for support. Rowan remembered seeing the guards at the posts outside of the kingdom, as well as the ruined walls and tired men. She placed her hand over his, looking at him more seriously. "Please be careful.... " she said. "They might be lessening... but they're still dangerous... people stuggle with them... Return safely..."

He cradled her in his arms as he stood up. Kissing her forehead. He would place her down on the bench. "Don't worry Rowan. The Ruin Warrior doesn't give up that easily!" He would stop for a moment as he turned round. Unclipping his Dire Fur Cloak. He would hand it too her. "Just in case you get a little cold." He smiled again covering her with it. He would walk away. Still having his small amount of gold. As well as his weapons. He would return to her soon. Hopefully with some sort of gift. He would walk past the quirky group of heroes again. Though would stop to talk to the sentinel. "Any where with higher concentration of Ruin Monsters?"
The Sentinel shook his head. "Just stick near the outer walls. They'll find you."
"Thanks. I'll get right to smashing some ruin monsters and bringing them back for food." He waved the sentinel goodbye as he left the area. It wouldn't be long until he found the outer walls.

Prophet took notice of the commotion behind the group, and looked to see two people, one of them was skinny, with scars over her. The other was carrying ruin raptors behind him, with armor of their scales. "I will catch up, I have something to do." Prophet said, turning on his cloak, disappearing. A soft, but hearable, clang was heard on a roof, then a soft stomp was heard, gaining the attention of some people. Prophet turned his cloak off behind the woman, his large frame appearing and scaring off some people. "Hi there." Prophet said, trying to gain the woman's attention.

Frederick walked the outer walls. He moved through rubble. Freeing families to allow them to get to the central areas. He managed to save a couple of families before finally encountering a small pack of Ruin Raptors. He drew out Iron Hammers Great Sword. Looking towards the raptors. His sword and body would glow bright red as he let out a ferocious howl. His strength and power much stronger than any humans. He equaled the strength of the Ruin raptors easily. Though one thing he had that would allow him to over power them. His skill. He swathed his blades through their necks. He has become much better at fencing. Able to side stepping and slashing at the same time. His speed was twice as fast as before, able to out manuever these raptors easily. He would tie them together. Dragging them behind him. He grunted heavily as he would meet up with some Sentinels. "Hey! You mind taking these things!"
He would soon talk to them about their patrol route. "You guys take these things back and take a break. I'll take this patrol for a couple hours."
They shook hands. Leaving him alone to venture the outer walls. He freed some people from rubble while he was on patrol. Saving nearly 27 people. Though after a long while. He found an abandon cloths shop. It was refined clothing for certain. He looked into the shop. Pushing open the door. He found a bright red scarf. Relatively unscathed. He pushed over a board. Taking the scarf. He placed it on his belt. Scrunching it together. He continued the patrol for his two hours before the sentinel crew found him again. They shook his hand. "No worries. Glad I could help." They would talk for a moment. "Hey, you have a moment actually? I have this scarf but it is kind of frail. Any spell you can use to fix it up a bit?"
The sentinel nodded. "Apprentices are taught a simple spell to clean cloths. Doesn't even require words if your skilled enough." He would touch the scarf. The scarf would be repaired and the sparkles would return to it. "Hope you don't intend on wearing that. That is for women..."
Frederick laughed. "Don't worry, I have a female friend back at the head quarters." They shook hands. "Thanks for the help." He would wave to them. "I'll take that way back. Maybe I'll find some more people." Though finding more people was more than what he got. He was shocked that after fifteen minutes. He ran into the alpha leader of the pack he killed earlier. It had been stalking him for a while now...
Frederick would draw his Flaming Long Sword along with Iron Hammers Great Sword. The Raptor lunging at him. Frederick wasn't much weaker. He would jump back with it. Hiding under his body at first. When the raptor landed with him. He knew the head would be coming down for a killing blow. Though enough time of fighting with these raptors and he knew how to kill them easily. He would jump forward again. Bringing both swords up. Tips touching the raptor who stood much taller than him. "Dual Flame Strike!" Both swords burst into fire. He would dash forward. Slashing the flaming swords in front of him. The tips running through the scales and cauterizing the wounds open and shut. The intestines didn't have time to fall out. The creature just collapsed behind Frederick.
Frederick turned around. He saw an abandon school. Heading to it. He saw many children still hiding in it. He offered them a hand. "Come with me... we can take this raptor with us and we can go back to central." The eldest agreed. All of thems scared. Closer examination determined that their teacher died a while ago... He would tie some rope around the raptor. Dragging it behind him back to central. Children following behind him.
Once they made it back. He would find some chefs to cut up all the meat he had collected. They talked for a while before frederick nodded. "Just make sure some of that gets back to the sentinels. They need to rest too you know." The chefs nodded. Thanking him for the business. Frederick would start to make his way back to the sentinel head quarters.

"Alright... Hurry back. We'll be departing in half an hour." said Aster. Aster walked forward then pause, turning to look at her group. Luna was there... but Ariana was all the way behind? Was something the matter? "Ariana!" she called. "Is something the matter?" she asked. Rowan watched Frederick leave with a slightly worried expression. After he was out of sight she pulled the blanket around herself and curled up on the bench in an attempt to take a nap... Rowan was startled when a voice behind her suddenly spoke. She fell off the bench onto the ground, slowly pulling herself up. She sat and looked up at the odd armored man with her lifeless eyes. "Why...?"
