☾ Ӎӑῑұӑ ☽  ┏ Maiya was running away. She couldn't escape. It was dark, a dark windy night, and the bright red moon was shining over the bloody crescent river. She had killed all those people. . all against her own will! She couldn't move her hands and her feet, it was as if they had a mind of its own! Her own village, her own kind, her own family that had wished her off on her journey! Maiya was going insane. She runs and runs through the forest trees, injuring herself from the prickled branches and then stumbles down the hill. The man whom she's loathed stands over her like a shadow. Maiya couldn't help but bring tears to her eyes. This man was controlling her like a puppet and she could do nothing of it. She was bound to him, body and soul and all, all because she had accepted the offer of a new body. The man leans down toward her and whispers the words: "Wretch. Kill them. Kill Them All."
She jolted up from the bed sheet she lie in and held her head in her hand. Man, Maiya had a large headache. Off in the distance, above her, she saw two blurry figures who seemed to be talking to one another, using their voices, she could remember whom they were. The one that was deeper, he was them man whom she had asked to end her. The woman, she does not know. "Dammit." she muttered as she staggered out of the bedsheet, her long flowing hair reaching the shackles that had circled her feet. ┙

"!! . . . M-Maiya, you're awake!" Mori said surprised, standing straight up from his seat. He then walked over to her and looked down at her. "How are you feeling? Do you hurt anywhere?" As he asked the question, his hands hovered around her, appearing to be reaching out and touching her, but staying maybe a foot away from her actual body as if they feared they might hurt her if they got any closer.

☾ Ӎӑῑұӑ ☽ ┏ "Don't touch me!" she shouted as she staggered back, "Dammit, Dammit, Dammit!" She held onto her head more since the headache was getting stronger and stronger. "He" was starting to take over. She should have died, if only the naive fool ended her life instead of trying to play the hero who saves everyone. Now, she is again stuck as she tries to escape this grasp that keeps hold of her. She continued to stagger around the area she was in, She bumped into the wall and moaned quietly, trying not to trip on her long hair as the shackles jingled like bells. She was trying to fight him back, she had to, or else she would massacre them again. . the villagers, the people. "No. . " she muttered, "No. . ." You could see her eyes flashing from brown to red as she tried to cover them with her hands, delicate and cream-colored. One of her hands was trying to find the doorknob so she could escape, feeling the walls behind her; she had to find a place far off where she could go berserk on, and fast. ┙

♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ She noticed the girl awaken and then saw how worried Mori was of her. For a little bit, Ruicha felt threatened and jealous, but then started analyzing her behavior. This demon seemed to be fighting back something, and it was something strong too. Was it fighting back her "contractor"? The presence that seemed to be taking over was strong and boy, was it corrupt. It was the strongest presence that she had felt in her days of being here besides the elder's and the feeling of it made her tremble and shake with fear and dread. "Stay away from her!" Ruicha shouted, pulling back Mori by pulling his arm, toward her and away from Maiya, "There's a strong presence encircling her, we should get her out of here!" She was reluctant to say the last part, for she wanted both of them, the demon and Mori to stay as far away frokm each other as possible. ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓

"Dammit!" he muttered under his breath in frustration. He then pulled free of Ruicha and charged at Maiya, pinning her up against the wall. He then gently touched his forehead against Maiya's with his eyes closed, performing a special technique that not even Ruicha had seen him do before. For a slight amount of time there was an odd glow emanating from his and Maiya's foreheads, then they both collapsed to the ground. That's right, the technique he just used flung his own consciousness and psyche into that of Maiya, knocking them both out temporarily. They would not awake until Mori deactivates the ability, giving him time to figure out how to help Maiya without her destroying the village or anyone in it. At first things were muddled and foggy, but then they suddenly became clear, and he was able to witness exactly what was happening in her head right now.

♊ How are you communicating : " I'm in your dreams. "  ▄▀▄ I shall take control of you . . . ╔══════════════╗ He had gone into Maiya and was almost successful. But, the brat had decided to put up a fight. Fuji was in his mansion, sitting down in the dark room meditating while a few servants sit down and watch over him, their eyes vacant and lifeless, sure signs of their being taken over. "Tch!" he growled, seeing that the wretch he had tried to take over again bring in another one to the matter. This boy's presence was stronger than most and it peaked Fuji's interest, his yellow eyes hinting curiosity as he looked at the large mirror that projected everything in front of him. "Maybe I shall enjoy myself," he thought, his his looking about the odd Tengu that knocked over his puppet, "Shall I make him one as well?" Fuji started to meditate and closed his eyes, entering himself to Maiya's consciousness where there was work that needed to be done. He had allowed her soul to be semi-free for she seemed loyal, but I guess it was a big mistake seeing how wretchedly ungrateful she was.
From the mansion, he opened his eyes to find himself in Maiya's subconsciousness, where the wretched wolf spirit was bound and chained to a mirror, the same one he had looked though. What reflected on the mirror was not the wretch that everyone saw, but the wretch that she was back in that village long ago. [ See Here : xx ]. He walked up to the bound dog, scratched an bleeding as he took out his sword from his back and smirked, feeling that he was to have a hard time training this woman. "Why do you disobey me?" he asked, placing his face closer to the poor woman's as he put his sword in a position where it was to cut off his neck, "It was your decision to join me and your decision alone woman." He noticed that the tengu was standing a few feet behind him, his consciousness entering hers. The woman he question made no reply but staggered breathing. Becoming impatient as he waited for her answer, he moved his sword down to the side where her arm was and cut it oh so slowly, making the spirit scream and wither in pain as the reflection did as well.╚══════════════╝ And I shall finally get what I want . . . ▄▀▄

♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ Ruicha had fallen back and hit the ground butt first when Mori had pulled himself away from her. She then saw him as he put himself so close to the wretched woman and as they both fell on top of each other, the woman below him. Ruicha stood and sighed sadly, tears starting to well up in her eyes as she saw them. Mori was probably mad at her were the things that gone through her head as she wiped her eyes with her sleeves furiously. "He hates me," she sniffed quietly, "He hates me, he hates me." She looked almost like a child as she cried. Ruicha fell to her knees and sobbed a little bit before calming down and thinking of what to do. She couldn't no matter how tempting it may be to cry until he awoken, but that wasn't what he would expect from a mature Ruicha. She had to keep her image up for him, he couldn't break away now.
And so, Ruicha fixed the bed sheet that the demon staggered out of and unfolded a part of it again, making room for Mori. Ruicha was not just going to let them sleep on the floor that's for sure, they could get sick or injured. Mori's cut would be affected too as she looked at it. The injury had already been healed it seems. It was those little times where she wished she was a demon or some kind of thing besides human as well. Struggling, she was able to put both people on the bedsheet, the woman being the easiest to carry and Mori being the heaviest. Ruicha placed them next to each other on the bedsheet, for she was afraid that if separated, something would happen to either on of their consciousness. She looked down on both of them feeling jealous. "I wish. . " she said out loud, "I could be in her place. . " She thought again after seeing the woman twitch in pain and saw that one of her arms were bleeding. Was this. . a spell that bound her?! Was Ruicha's assumption correct?! In instinct, she went to the kitchen, took out the herbs, some bandages, and a tub of warm water and tended to the wound. She was reluctant to help her as she tried soaking the arm carefully, but I guess that's what mature Ruicha would do. ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓

When Mori was finally able to see clearly, he saw a strange man with black hair and a sword. Behind the man was a girl that looked like Maiya that was chained up against what looked like a giant mirror. He then saw the man cut the girl's wrist, and Moi became outraged. "HEY! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" he shouted at the man as he approached him. He then moved quickly and attempted to knock the sword out of the man's hand, standing between the man and the girl, and followed up with a punch to the man's face.

"Fool." Fuji muttered as he let his sword get knocked out of his hand. He didn't even move as the boy failed to punch him in the face, catching the hand with his without breaking a sweat. He found it impressive how this boy was able to stand between him and his puppet, but no matter. His hair waved in the sky as usual, symbolizing his aura that overwhelmed the area and his eyes were looking right through the boy to his soul, the fierce glow getting stronger and stronger. "You dare charge at me in my domain? Where I rule?" he asked tauntingly, twisting the boy's arm, "It seems I have underestimated you. No matter. You kept my precious puppet alive." Fuji stopped twisting and flipped the boy over to the opposite side with no strength needed whatsoever. He chuckled evilly as he stood over the boy like a shadow, even though the world they were in was dark and dismal either way. Fuji didn't even attempt to grab his sword again, he felt that he could kill this boy just by breaking him like a twig with his own hands. "You mustn't meddle with my plans," he warned after a silence, his voice booming and echoing in the world they were in,"Stay in your own little village and keep safe there for now, boy."

"!!" Mori was surprised to see the man stop his attack so effortlessly, then growled slightly in pain when his arm got twisted, and shouted when he got thrown. He lay there glaring up at this despicable man, listening to what he had to say.
"Puppet. . ." he repeated, "So that means you're the one who made Maiya do such horrid things." Upon the realization he grew angrier, and he spat on the man's face, jumping to his feet and extending his wings. "How despicable!" he said in outrage as he turned to face the man again. "There's no way I could leave you be when you do such horrid things! I can tell that you're a great source of evil, and you must therefor be eliminated! There is NO REDEMPTION for someone like you!!" Mori shouted as he charged at the man again, this time moving even faster so that his fist nailed the man on his face, hitting with enough momentum to knock him back a few paces. He then kept charging and hitting him all over his body.

Fuji laughed as he was punched many times by this Tengu and then afterward stepped back one step that echoes through the space like his laugh did. He was sort of bruised, his shadowed kimono was a little torn, but because of his power, Fuji started regenerating quickly and effortlessly. He wiped his face, removing the saliva from it with his sleeve and when he finished, grinned as he walked back up to the chained dog whom he was not finished dealing with as of yet. "You say that I made her do "horrid" things?" he asked, emphasis on horrid, for he did not think of it that way. With his hands, he lifted up her chin so that her face was closer to his and then looked back at the boy, whom he knew was steaming, whom he knew wanted to kill him. "What if I tell you boy," he continued, picking up the sword with his other hand and putting it to her neck, drawing out some blood, "That if you kill me, you kill this poor wretched dog? . . . Kill me if you please, just know that you will be killing her and the many, many servants that I own that are in the same situation." He smiled as the dog trembled in fear and abhorrence, the blood running down her neck and to her bosom.

"!! WHAT!?" he shouted in surprise. Dammit! I have to think of something, fast!" he thought to himself. He then remembered that his saliva was still on the man's sleeve, and he grinned.
In both the real world and in Maiya's consciousness, all of Mori's red tattoos that he had since birth began to glow as he held his hands in the shape of an upside down triangle while muttering a few chants extremely quickly with his eyes closed. Suddenly, the saliva on the man's sleeve ignited in a blue fire, and when Mori finished muttering there was a red glow coming from the inside of his hand sign. He opened his eyes and shouted "Secret Technique: Blue Fire Banishment!" while thrusting his right hand forward with the red glow at his palm, sending a red beam of light that collided with the man on his chest, making the flame on his sleeve disappear and spread around him as another blue glow, mixing with the red glow to make the man's entire body illuminate purple, banishing his consciousness from the area for a short amount of time.
He then ran over to the mirror where the girl was and looked at her. Yes, he realized, she was indeed Maiya. "Maiya," he said to her, "You have to help me free you from this man. I'm going to try to severe your ties so he can't control you anymore, alright?" He then stepped back a few paces and said "I'll start with this chain that binds you to this mirror." as he lunged forward with a magically enhanced punch aimed at the chains, intending to break them.

☾ Ӎӑῑұӑ ☽ ┏ Maiya was in a state of concious dizziness as all this happened. She was shackled and bound. She couldn't move and she could feel only pain that had been dealt through the man's sword. As a demon, she could regenerate, but because of the sword's power, its hits were dealt like poison to her body. From the side, she suddenly saw a bright flame through her vacant eyes and noticed that the man was on fire. She had a thought that he was being banished to Hell, but she shook it off, knowing that this man has done enough harm, so much harm that he flames of Hell will do nothing more than act as a heater in the cold. Maiya then heard the boy's sound again, the one whom she had yelled at before all this had happened. Why was he here? How did he get here? After a short moment, she suddenly felt a burning sensation throughout her arm and you could see burns appear on her delicate skin there as she turned to look at the Tengu with blazing eyes.
"Fool!" she breathed out as she coughed up blood because of how weak she was there, the shackles that bind her jingling like bells as they hit the mirror. The reflection through it looked at him in that way as well, "Did you not just hear him?!" The more Maiya shouted, the more blood she coughed out. Did he not realize that if he dies, she dies and through some thinking, if he gets hurt, she gets hurt as well?! [ It also seemed she was unconscious of the fact that this was her conscience and how he was only expelled from it. She thinks that the burns were caused from his spell. ] What a naive stupid boy! When he had tried to break the chains, she felt as if her soul was being wrenched out of her body, an experience painful, so much that you cannot imagine. "Don't!" she shouted in pain as she kicked his leg with the limited strength she had, coughing out more blood. The body, if the soul was wrenched out would not hold and she would end up becoming a wandering spirit. ┙

Fuji tlooked at his sleeve when the boy had uttered the spell and snickered, doing nothing to stop it as he stood there, just burning. He had opened his eyes to the mansion just for a little bit, and then smiled as he ordered one of his slaves to give him a candle. Of course, they did and then he put it to his arm, burning himself. He closed his eyes again to find himself in the consciousness. "He would learn the hard way, that boy." he thought as he looked over at the shackled animal who had started to feel his pain as well when he had burned himself back in the castle. he had activated the spell that allowed not just him, but his servants to feel the pain as well. It was one of the disadvantages, in a way when it came to attacks, but in cases like these, it was a big help. He chuckled as the boy tried to remove the shackles from her. Did he not know that those bound her soul to the body that he had provided for her? That naive fool. He just couldn't help but smile as he burned, some of the candle fire on his skin. They did not even cause him any pain. He looked at the pitiful two, unknowing of his power. And then walking up to them, with his seemingly-infinite strength, he pushed the boy with so much force that he slid a few feet when he had fallen and then Fuji walked and towered over him once more. "The power of a 1000 demons cannot kill me." he advised as he stuck his sword that he had picked up right through the boy's hand as he lay there, "Knowing that, think of yours."

Damn! Is he so powerful that he returned THAT quickly? Damn, I didn't really give myself very much time did I? But it was enough, Mori thought to himself as he fell to the ground. When the man stood over him, he just grinned and spat some blood out to the side. "Heh, I think you're a little late, I've already broken the chain and shattered that little mirror of yours! Yeah, I've already realized that that's what allows you to control her, and without it, you have no power over her! It may have taken the risk of expelling her soul from the body, but that's an easy fix for us!" he said confidently at the man with a grin on his face.
When the man were to look back, the chain had indeed been split, loosening and releasing Maiya from the mirror which was shattering into a million tiny pieces and disappearing. Mori then moved so fast that not even the man could tell that he wasn't lying there on the ground anymore when he moved over to catch Maiya as she fell, holding her tenderly in his arms. What the man hadn't realized earlier was that the hand he had stabbed with his sword was actually an illusion Mori had created temporarily, knowing that the man was going to try something. He then glared over at the man with a victorious grin, knowing that he had just freed Maiya from his rule. As a safety precaution in case the man tried to lash out in rage, he extended his wings and raised a powerful magic barrier to protect himself and Maiya, while also holding her soul there and preventing it from moving outside the barrier or fading away.
