On Kiwi's shoulder, a heaviness suddenly fell. There was nothing visible there but a giant, toothy smile.

Did he seriously believe all of that? It had all been complete nonsense! Junko blinked and just stared at Mmur, stepping back away from him. "I suppose I commend your enthusiasm..." But he couldn't win all of them, only one. Had they even come up with a rule for the volunteers bidding? She couldn't think of one.
Junko either paid the cat's appearance no mind or just flat out didn't notice it. Have fun, Kiwi.

Eisheth nearly died of laughing watching her fellow clansmen on the stage. Of course, Famine: no doubts they do indeed miss some bdsm hard hand, strict order and discipline. Kiwi was actually presented as a ghoul. Before the council president announced that, Eisheth never actually thought her cousin looking.. feminine, but now, watching the embarrassed soldier slowly yet steadily growing red, she figured that in fact he could be mistaken for a ghoul. The sheer thought of that made her laugh again. Anyway, Kiwi was still sooo young! If she was a Halloweener she could even say he's not mean for struggling and battling, but for a happy steady life, but she wasn't. Even laughing kindly at Kiwi she considered him to be a soldier, strong and harsh, if needed. Thinking otherwise would only be offending by horsemen standards. Mmur was quite cool, too. For a moment, the alchemist wondered, if her friend is insane: he was clearly overexcited with no particular reason. Eisheth shook her head, and waved to both faminers. What shall she do with them?.. And then her attention was caught by a ghoul with some really cute hair. No, her hair was... astonishing. And she was cute: in a very peculiar way, dressed similar to Conquest fashion, she resembled Mei, as Eisheth remembered her during the Prom. " KAWAIII DESU! I bet 2 silver seeds on this lovely ghoul!", she shouted and looked at the ghoul cheerfully. She could send her a smile, if she were not wearing kerchief, but she hoped Xiu would be able to see her eyes smiling. EISHETH IS BIDDING 2 SEEDS ON XIU!

TiH Student Council On Kiwi's shoulder, a heaviness suddenly fell. There was nothing visible there but a giant, toothy smile. "You seem unhappy. Confront what frightens or offends you. Reckless or insulting talk should never go unchallenged." Tea didn't sound that bad, actually. Kiwi was about to respond to Mmur's statement, when he felt something heavy across his shoulder. glancing up, he didn't spy anything at all, but a voice he strangely sensed only he could hear, spoke.
... Unhappy?? ... Well, yes, he had been unhappy with alot of things lately. It wasn't something he wished to talk about, but seeing Mara again ... had stirred to life so many feelings ... He wasn't sure how he felt, or if he was still worthy to be called a horseman ... And Riley's nonsensical announcement certainly didn't help that fact.
He glanced around again, and nodded slightly onto the air. " ... I-l'll remember that. Thank you."
And with that he turned his attention back to Mmur. "I do hope no one let him into he cider. I hear it's quite potent. But tea does sound refreshing right about now." Talking of tea while being bid off as hired hands. He almost chuckled at the thought.
But then a thought occurred to him, and taking the voice's advice, he cupped his hands and shouted into the crowd: "I AM KIWI OF FAMINE! And I challenge anyone who dares misjudge me or my clan to bid with all you have, and see what a clansman is made of!!"
He indeed felt a bit better after that rant, and possibly, it would rustle up some bidders in the crowd.

Gene looped her arm through Frost's, giving the White Wolfos a very, very wide smile, and Gave Terra a little wave. She'd put her sassy pants on for this auction, that was for sure.
"Sorry to outbid you like that sweetie, but Mr. Fluffbutt here owes me a cuddle session." She began leading him away, still smiling.
They had things to plan, and cuddles to have.

The nameless voice was pleased with his response, and in his hands a tiny little box appeared.

Frost just gave a slightly confused look to Terra and Gene, guessing it was some kind of Ghoul thing.
he also realized Demi of Shehk better not see him.
He was still an alpha in his own right

NUKPANA IS BIDDING 10 SEEDS ON XIU!
For some reason, Nuk had decided to check out the auction. Mostly because he'd initially thought that they were giving away cool s**t, (and he had definitely been intending to steal the best s**t,) but even after realizing that the prizes were actually students or horsemen, not an inkjar or minipet he could resell for triple the value, the skinwalker had decided to stay a bit. He had nothing better to do. Besides, the word 'slave' had caught his attention; usually, only demons could do that, make a 'contract' so to speak. And while this wasn't as strict as a demon contract, it was intriguing enough that he decided it was at least sticking around for a while to see how the bids went. Getting a slave for a day would be pretty jackin' sweet.
Even if all his ideas were nefarious in nature.
Stepping into the room, the skinwalker immediately skirted the wall to stand off in a shadow, eyes swiveling around the cafeteria to get a look of who the victims were, flicking between all five. He'd missed the first auction, the students stepping down off the stage to head to their respective buyers just as he'd entered. Luckily, he was just in time to hear Riley announce the second round of auctioned students. Folding his arms across his chest, he listened with a dark, uninterested look, eyes half-lidded as his gaze followed each as the mindflayer introduced one after the other. That was, until about halfway through, when Nuk realized that these descriptions were not only wrong, but they were full of complete Bul s**t.
"What the--"
Quirking an eyebrow, the skinwalker wrinkled his nose, the corner of his lip lifting as he baffled at the stage. Lifting one hand to cup his mouth, Nuk snickered loudly, calling rudely above the rest of the chatter.
"... yo Council, what's that caterpillar got you smokin'?!"
He didn't really expect an answer, of course. Leaning back on his heels, the skinwalker snickered a bit more to himself, momentarily entertained by the obvious embarrassment that must be practically radiating off of everyone on that stage. Except that's when Nuk realized that there was a ghoul up there. Not only that, but she DID look embarrassed... Seeing Xiu up there, the skinwalker couldn't help but feel bad for her. Really bad. Worse than a bully should feel. But Xiu was a girl, and even though he pretended to be really tough s**t, in his heart he undeniably had a soft spot for ghouls, one he couldn't even claim was just him hitting on them. Not that it was much of a secret, really -- Junko and Amrita had been privy to this since the first day they'd met him.
Waffling for a second, Nukpana made a face before he took a step forward, pushing a little through the small crowd of students which had gathered to watch.
"... ten seeds on the... pink fuzzy thing," he mumbled, looking away and reaching up to scratch behind his ear awkwardly, trying to look as sinister and threatening as he could. Just in case anyone got any ideas about trying to make fun of him.
Or Xiu.
He did not, however, bid on Kiwi. No matter what Riley said, that horseman was definitely a dude. And Nuk was not bidding on no dude. No homo man, he only did that for his friends.
... bid on them, of course.

TERRA IS BIDDING 5 SEEDS ON KIWI!
"Famine??" Terra said, her eyes lighting up. "I WOULD VERY MUCH--er, very much like to bid five seeds on the lovely male with wings who is from Famine!" she called loudly, waving her hand over her head. "May I bid on him??"
Because she could tell a male from a female, okay.

Well that had gone gone by fast..
Before the djinn knew it the auction had come and gone, and where as the other young lady that had been on the block with her had been warred over, Yaya had received... Not so much as a seed. It was a little baffling, but beyond that it kind of hurt.
Lips pursed, the ghoul made to leave the stage, but Junko stopped her, asking her to stick around so they could give her another go at being bid at, and frankly Yaya wasn't entirely sure she cared to go through something like that.
Had it been nearly anyone else the demon likely would have just left, but this was Junko, and Hadiyya couldn't say no to the other ghoul. With a sigh she folded her arms across her chest and slipped out of the way so the other students and horsemen could take their turns. What had already started as a trying week seemed to be going down hill, she had aleady been grumpy, but now she was slightly embarrassed and rather sour towards the people who were bidding.
(Wow, didn't even know this was going on now. o.o)

AMRITA IS BIDDING 3 SEEDS ON AYMET!
It didn't take Amrita long to find the auction spot. She had a thing against auctioning off students as servants, one that stemmed from seeing her boilfriend be one by design; the difference was, she had only seen these ones as simple fundraisers or harmless fun. So they seemed okay in the end.
She came in just as Aymet was announced, and any dislike she had over auctioning students disappeared as she listened to the little blurb about him. He...he was from the Wild West?! She didn't know where that was, but it sounded terrifying! Upper body strength of an elephant? Those bones?! Whoa! ...wait. WAIT. AYMET COULD JUGGLE?! Rabid animals, no less! Wow! There was so much about her friend she didn't know!
Xiu's attributes were announced next, and she was even more shocked over how much she didn't know about the people around her. WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT SUMMONING JACK?! *A* Xiu was awesome! Sadly, she didn't want to big against Nuk. There was no way she could bid war against her 'Big Brother'...but if he won, she'd have to ask to see the summoning done. The others she didn't know, but she felt almost compelled to get Aymet off that stage one way or another.
"Three on Aymet!" She called out, waving a backwards hand in the air to try and make herself seen.

He watched the bidding with a grin, having backed up into the shadows as Kiwi made his proclamation. Eisheth received a brief wave, then the soldier took a seat on the stage, content to remain quiet for a while, or at least until he wasn't the high bidder on, like, two whole people. That was almost enough for a boyband!
Mmur couldn't remember having gotten into any cider recently, but it was entirely possible someone had slipped him something.

Were...were people actually bidding on her? Something about this was hard for the baku ghoul to take in...and it was possibly the fact that she no control over who would win her. Her gaze slid to the horsewoman who had bid on her first, her hands clutched to her chest as she peered down at Eisheth with curious eyes. Why would someone from the Lost Clans bid on her? She did not seem to be a bad person though--the baku could see the smile in her eyes--and she tentatively offered a polite smile back.
Sliding her gaze to the side, she found that the other face was a much more familiar one. Although she had not had many chances to speak to him, she definitely recognized Nuk, especially from their encounter during this year's BotB. Tentatively, she gave a little wag of her tail and lifted a hand to wave to the skinwalker.
She didn't even seem to mind being called a pink fuzzy thing.Santime FORGOT TO QUOTE YOU GUYS asdfgg

((Proxy for Huni!)) The horse boil's head snapped towards the order, square-root brows furrowing while the corners of his mouth twitched down to a slight frown. The tikbalang did not fear any form of altercation, though he was beginning to suspect foul play was involved between the unconscious individual and the ghoul that arrived. It didn't take much for Tro to distrust Horsemen in general, and once the dagger was brought out and brought down in a swift slash, Petro nearly shifted to his real form in alarm.
The initial relief that all she'd done was slice through bandages was quickly ignored in favor of the fact that she was still holding a Jacking weapon over an unconscious individual. The tikbalang may not know who Shik was or how Shaheen was ranked in the Horseman hierarchy or the pair's relationship, but these things were not relevant to the horse monster. "Y' trying to kill 'im?" Tro asked, still crouched low, the muscles in his arms and legs tensed and ready to react at any indication of ill-intent. Where exactly he was drawing this sort of question might have something to do with the paranoia resulting from Insanity.Meanwhile, Shik remained quite unconscious, though the prodding from Shaheen made him moan softly. He was at his best here really: quiet, relaxed, and not stabbing the horsewoman until she bled out into dissipation.

The soft moan was enough to snap Shaheen out of her staring contest with Shik's god damn perfect abs, and she began pulling at the bandages that were now laying on the floor beneath him, yanking each one up and gathering them in her hands, her dagger flashing out of existence once more. "Of course I'm not trying to kill him! I'm just assisting him into having a peaceful slumber, as well as ensuring he will be up on that stage when the time comes for him to be so." She practically growled beneath her breath, shooting the student another glare. "Really, this has nothing to do with you. Why do you care what I do with him?" She pursed her lips, placing the bandages on the floor next to her then reaching over to shove Shik until he lay on his front. She then proceeded to move until she was sitting atop of him, straddling him from behind, then grabbed for his arms, pushing his wrists together and reaching with one hand for the bandages. "Trust me when I say he's much more pleasant like this then he would be if he was awake." She muttered, as she began wrapping the bandages around his wrists, tying them together behind him. There, that should make him more manageable.
