The other egg however, seems to be having some trouble determining which guardian to choose. Aisling is sure it is either DraconicFeline, or iHibari Kyoya, but the egg just can't seem to decide on one or the other.

DraconicFeline

iHibari Kyoya

You will both need to answer the following prompt. I will choose the best answer, and quote the winner.

The egg has chosen you as its guardian. How are you going to care for it until it hatches, and how will you see to its upbringing through adolescence?

The baby dragon will soon learn that Allure needs as much raising as they do. She is impulsive, childish, and frustrating.
However, the two dragons she raised (Ashlu and ???) did not turn out too badly. Both are very strong independent sorts... So clearly she did something right. Somewhere.

She isn't a maternal figure. She sees herself as a teacher, almost specifically. She isn't there for comfort. In training a dragon, she starts teaching them magic and feeding them various bits of history and advice young, and she doesn't like it when her students are forgetful or dont listen, even when she does the same. She is a harder teacher than many guardians, and refuses- REFUSES- to coddle a dragon. It won't do them any favors, so why should she bother? She wasn't coddled herself, so why should she do so to her students? A little bit of pain can be a good thing. It builds motivation. Too much can be trying, and she does praise.
In summary, she would raise them with their magic primarily in mind, then their general knowledge, and only tangentally their emotional health. Hopefully, Ashlu can assist with that.

She IS in an unusual state at the moment, being exiled and somewhat limited in her powers, but she can still teach and others can still learn... its just that she may need her student's help more than she is used to. She is adept at illusions and perceptual magic, and can cast some fire and heat spells, so she is capable of keeping an egg warm. Problem is, since her powers are limited and winter is fast approaching, she will likely teach the new wriggler the heat spell ASAP so that they can help keep her warm. She may even start dressing 'respectably' (read: Warmly).
It is unknown what changes her exile will make on her guardian-ing technique thus far... but in summary, she'll be very snuggly towards the egg, and somewhat distant from the hatchling.

Shanra the Dragon Bard
After days of visiting the Shrine, and spending time with the two eggs, Aisling has determined that FrostyPeaches has indeed been chosen by one of the eggs to be its guardian.

-politely bows down-

Black Amethyst understands the ways of raising an egg, of caring for a little one, of teaching and learning limits to one's self and those around. She has almost unheard of patience at times, unless one is being absolutely insufferable and is learning without tolerance.

With such in mind, she has space made within her raising cave, having set up various areas where eggs may safely roll over mass amounts of moss and soft grass. This also doubles as a roaming place for young dragons who have been injured. Rarely are they left alone, the oldest of her charges, Neone, being placed in charge of making sure they are well, taught how to carefully move the eggs here and there, how to portion food when there is little to be spared.

For teaching, she does what she sees fit, watching the hatchling as it moves around before choosing what she feels they must know pertaining to them. Any eggs that she cares for whom are not the young of her own dragons, she will make time to search for the parents of, and be sure they get along with.

As it goes, the little one will learn of her, not as a mother, but one who can do motherly things. They will see her as a guardian, whom watches and cares and is sure that none will harm them so long as she is seen. Emotions would be their own to figure out, and answers will be provided to asked questions, but nothing simple, nothing easy. She sees it that way, and will do her duty thusly.

Aisling listened to each guardians answers, and after giving thought to each, she made her decision. Reaching down, she gently lifted the remaining egg from the bed of sand, and walked over to Hibari. "I know you will care for this dragon honorably. My blessing goes with you dear." She holds out the egg and places it in the waiting hands of its guardian.

were blessed with eight eggs from their first life-mating. They have already found guardians for four of their eggs, but the remaining four still need to find their guardian. If you are a new guardian, and have only one or two dragons in your care, and you would like to try and convince one of their eggs to choose you as its guardian, then you have arrived at an opportune time. Come into my shrine, and visit with the eggs. Be careful not to move them, as they are still very fragile, and must remain on the warming sands.

I can tell you that three of the eggs contain females, and the fourth is a male.

Fill out this form, and leave it in the basket near the door. If you are chosen, I will summon you to return and collect your egg.

Aisling has been able to determine that this egg has chosen you as its guardian. Since the eggs are about to hatch in a couple of days, I suggest you remain here with your egg and think of an appropriate name for your new dragon. Once she has hatched, you may take her home with you.
