There was really only one way to stop the noise in her head. Beat the monster, and desummon Armagnac. She'd calm down after that.
The first part of the task was the hardest, though.

Armagnac was injecting words of approval into her rant now.
It still wasn't super helpful, but Sherry took what she could get.
She also did her best to dish out damage.

Armagnac disagreed. Though she approved of the way Sherry was actually hitting things this time.

Sherry only rolled her eyes. She could think of a million retorts, but most of them dealt with letting him attack. And that idea made Armagnac rage a little. She was having fun.

Letting Jake attack would be a TERRIBLE terrible idea.
Don't give into temptation, Sherry. Everyone would die.
... So would letting him defend everyone, but that seems to be doing decently well so far.

Armagnac had no intention of letting Sherry let Jake take over. Sherry knew what was best for the sake of her sanity.
She wasted no time giving the blade another swing. Armagnac purred, and Sherry smiled.
