Harrison crouched in the lighthouse, and wished he hadn't quit smoking. He could probably take it back up again, and B0nez would keep his lungs clean as a whistle, but with as tight a budget as they had...
He waited next to Rep while B0nez got his humanity back in order.
When they were both ready, he went back through the portal for another rabbithole hunt.

There was a whole ******** lot of walking involved in this questing thing, and despite still being in a pretty good mood, it could only last so long when there was simply portal after useless portal to trawl through.
The one he peeked into led to an empty room with a tempting roaring fire.

"Burns me up that these creeps got access to everybody's houses," It put a dark edge on even the inviting-looking rooms.
Harrison was starting to wonder if they'd never find the prison again, if yesterday for whatever reason had been the day to do it, when he nearly tripped over one next to a leafpile.
"Here we go," Harrison said, "wonder how it got all the way over here."

He looked through a series of portals, learning from the past, duck-in, duck-out, treat them like a procession, steer clear of the ones that seemed...holidayspirity, and more ones that seemed...briney.

Rep was still slightly rattled from whatever had come over him down there, half blaming it on the oppressive fear in this forest having a wearing effect on Tracey. He picked his way through the portals far far more carefully than before, but this meant that several house linked portals later, there was no sign of the one they ******** nothing over this way man" he said, gesturing at the failed portals.

He pendanted back to let B0nez catch his breath at the Lighthouse

He had no luck either, turning up all the usual suspects but no way back into the ever elusive labyrinth.

On his return, the prison was lurking in the first portal he checked.
"These guys better be real ******** grateful, us fixing their portal problem for them," he said, again stepping aside to let Rep go through first. He gave the woods one last look, then followed him through.

Rep wandered around within earshot of Harrison, checking the portals as and when he came to them. At the question he looked thoughtful.
"I dunno. Everything." he offered. "Jacuzzi, PC rig, TV with an ocean of pillows in front of it, minibar." his eyes glazed at the ocean of prospective stuff.
Oh right. Portals.
He was right in front of the right one.
"Erm. This one."

As they headed back to the forest, Rep simply continued what he'd been saying before they so rudely abandoned the monsters guarding the dungeon. "Yeah well you know how I go cliff diving? Well there's like little caves down there along the edge of the island, you can only access them like, from the sea. Some of them are pretty deep. I want to maybe like. Sort one to like, keep s**t in. In case I ever get promoted."
He ducked down to look into another portal and shook his head as he leaned back out.
"Not that I'm ever expecting to be promoted. Given my track record and s**t."

"They promoted you the first time," Harrison said with a shrug. "Anyhow, it's sorta- I dunno, like B0nez said, leveling up, it's not just a title. It's got to do with how you and Tracey are getting along too."
He thought about the cliff diving spot.
"Sounds like a pirate cave. ...It'd be a hell of a lot safer than the dorms, that's for sure. They get trashed at the drop of a hat. ...B0nez needs a break."
Harrison spoke into his pendant.
