That's really funny cause typos and grammatical mistakes drove me crazy when I was reading The Stars' Tennis Balls which is based on the Count of Monte Cristo. I actually lost a fair bit of respect for Stephen Fry just based on the extreme mediocrity of that book.
Argh. I have a love/hate relationship with book typos. Once in a blue moon it's kind of cool to find one. On the other hand, it's so annoying to continuously find them in one book. I was reading a couple Torchwood novels a few months back and there were so many problems. gonk
A couple years ago I actually had a book that randomly stopped mid sentence and restarted on the next page, sort of like it was a new chapter, only it wasn't. xp
