Asher gave a little smirk. "All right. I understand. It's a good idea." Asher was already thinking of places to go, however was distracted by a knock on the door. Asher was ready to jump to conclusions, and jumped off the bed. "I'll get it." She walked through the door and down the stairs. In all honesty, at first, she thought it was going to be Kiera. But it wasn't Kiera's aura. As Asher walked through the front door, she was met with a startled witch. One of the ones Kiera had used to help her. "Oh. A kitty. That can walk through doors. Of course." She brought a gloved finger to her lip. "You'd make a good familiar." Asher bit back a hiss. "What do you want?" The witch pulled a face. "Is darling Kiera here? She left something at our place." Asher made a confused expression. What the hell was Kiera doing in a den full of witches? She despised the things. The witch reached into her cloak and pulled out Kiera's hair beads which she wore all the time. Asher took them, and was about to ask how these got into her possession, but she forgot, she didn't care. The witch nodded. "Just make sure they get to her." She disappeared from sight. Asher sighed and brought the beads back inside. Kiera was probably planning something stupid. She dumped the beads on Cyril before making her way back up tot he bedroom, where she settled herself down on the bed again. "Well that was a pain in the a**." She yawned. "Anyway. I'll find a place as soon as I can."

*Shortstraw smiled* "Thankyou Asher. You know...back when we were in the castle i always wanted you to be freindly like this to me. I'm glad i actully got to have that chance now. youve helped me in just about ever situation, and you've always done what i asked too." He chukkled, "I'm going too soft or anything, but i'm glad i have you. I know i can rely on you. Your never stab me in the back." he nodded and started drawing som symbols, "i'll get all this figured out while your looking this way the esay parts are done. The hard part will be finding the members." he chukkled.

Asher nodded. "It'll be hard finding some that are willing, too. I've noticed that demon hunters tend to have a mind of their own most of the time." She chuckled a little. "What, with our charisma. It'll be a piece of cake."
Town was empty, stores shut, streets abandoned of life. Kiera walked, pulling her backpack on tighter and folding her hands into her pockets to preserve her warmth. Her item was still warm in her backpack, right off the anvil. Now all that was left was to give it to him. She thought the witches was going to be the hard part, but now this kind of overrode that. If you take one step into those marshes, I'll take over your body. Kiera zipped her jacket up over her mouth. "Try me." You can't seriously be threatening me? "I'm sick and tired of you infecting me with your poison." Poison? It's righteousness, dear. You knew that once. When you were little. "I was just a kid." And a smart one, at that. You took hold of that which was haunting you and harnessed it for power. "I don't care about power any more." That's where the problem is, right there. You did care. Until that b*****d shorty came along. "I love him." The feeling isn't mutual. I made sure of that. "I hate you." Your feelings towards me and Shortstraw should be reversed. Kiera ignored the alter ego until she reached the edge of the town. It was screaming at her, until, silence. Walking through the marshes, nothing was echoing in her head. It was a relief and a half.

*Shorstraw laughed* "Well of course. i already have to members i want to join. My right and left hand will be Soflora and Donte." He nodded and held up a finger, "And yes i know the consenqunces of including Dontem don't worry about that. I'll make it work somehow. And when the time comes, i'll defend him. This group will give him new freinds, put him out to explore the world and new places, it will give him something to do and a meaning. It will also make him closer to me wether i'm his real uncle or not." he chukkled, "i'm not sreu about soflora though... she's alittle too nice but i figured i could work on that." He laughed. "Alright i guess i'll start working on some ideas on how to get some weapons and tools for the members. I mean they will most likely not be equiped... and sadly i don't have any money to provide the weapons and armor for them... ad i can't ask veria to make them she wouldn't do it for other people and i know it."

Walking through the front door, Mai was instantly there with a very warm greeting for Kiera. She was happy about that, at least, and knelled down to hug him. "Hey boy. You missed me?" Mai licked her nose to confirm, then wriggled out of her grasp when Cyril was suddenly there in the doorway, watching her. The last time he saw her, she almost shot him. He was probably the most forgiving person on the planet, but he was still a little wary. Although he noticed she wasn't the same as she was before. Kiera looked up to him and smiled, eventually standing up and going over to hug him. "I'm sorry." Cyril hugged her back, and knew that things were better now. "S'alright."
Asher lifted her head from her paws, and sniffed the air. "I knew I saw her in town." However, she put her head back on her paws and shut her eyes. "She's back. So soon. Urgh."

*Shortstraw frowned, "Really?" he was seroiusly trying to forget all that, and he had when eve gave him the idea of the brotherhood. To took up all the papers and put them together and then stuffed them away in a secrite location and looked to asher as he doted some other stuff down on his normal pad of paper, "Remember no one is to know about it okay. Not yet. We're going to keep this orginization secrite." He smiled, "are you going to stay with me when she comes in here... or... would you rather not..." he figured to ask. He was alittle uneasy.*

Asher opened one eye at him. "I'm not sure. I suppose not. I'll go see what she's doing, anyway." Asher stood up, stretched, and took her time to walk over to the door, walking through it. At the top of the stairs, she watched Kiera and Cyril hugging, them pulling away from each other. Asher felt a pulse of energy run through her, then spotted the bag Kiera was wearing. It had something in it. Something that interested Asher a lot. Cyril and Kiera talked for a little, before Asher made her way down the stairs. Kiera looked to her, then made a weak smile. "Asher." Asher avoided her gaze, and looked straight through her. "I thought you were going to be longer than this. A week at the very least." Kiera suddenly had a sullen look. "Did you really think that? That I would leave you all for that long?" Asher practically laughed. "Well what else were we supposed to think, when you pulled a stunt like that back there." Kiera thought she was ready to be talking about that, but it turns out she wasn't. "It wasn't me." Asher rolled her eyes, and turned her back on Kiera. "Uh-huh. Mm-kay." Kiera looked pleadingly to Cyril before she started walking up the stairs. Cyril followed on after Asher, to maybe talk to her. He knew there wasn't really much point.

Shortstraw smiled as he finally dicided on a insimbot and held it up to get a better look at it. "Perfict. This will make perfict sense. However they will need the mark too... hmmmmm...." he thought to himself hearing heavyer footsteps coming up the stairs. he wasn't srue he was ready for this. He took a deep breath and put the pad down on the foot of the bed, staring at it as keria would have walked in.

Kiera walked in, shut the door, then leaned on it. She started chewing on a bit of skin off her lip as she looked to him. "Shortstraw." She wanted more than anything to run up and bodyslam him onto the bed. She didn't really want to push her luck, though. She was surprised Asher let her go near him in the first place. She'd rehearsed this so many times in her head before, but now her mind was wiped clean. Typical. She brought a hand to her mouth and bit her nail. "I know I messed up." She started, looking to the floor. "If I was defending myself, then I would say that it wasn't me who caused all... that. And it wasn't. But I'm not denying the fact that I messed up big time." She shut her eyes tight. "I can understand if you don't want to be around me any more. All I seem to do is mess up and get you hurt. I stayed away for the past couple of days to get my head around it. And to stop whatever caused me to do that." Her hands filed back into her pockets. "Hurt me. Taunt me. Cuss at me. Do whatever you want. As long as it lets you to forgive me in the end." Her eyes stayed shut.

*Shortstraw was looking to the bed. "I stayed here becuse of eves comment. When she said that ever relasionship has it's up and downs. That if we never have a fight, it was never ment to be and never was true love. So instead of leaving like i wanted to, i decided that it was more worth come back here. Becuse i know what Eve said is right." he spoke with a serious tone, however low. This way she wouldn't think he was screaming at her. "A long time ago i told myself i would die for you. And when i thought about what eve said... i relized that it wouldn't matter if i died from you either. Becuse then i at least gave it my best shot." He looked up finally to her, "latly things have been really messed up. And both of us are scared." He didn't move instead he made a face and looked to the floor, "i forgave you befor eyou even shot me int he first place. i just didn't know it untill afterwords."

Kiera almost started crying. But she stopped herself. She had done waaaay too much of that lately. If people were to spot her, she'd loose her edge. Kiera opened her eyes, however, and looked to him softly. "Too much was happening at once. My.. mind took advantage of that." She wasn't going to explain the whole concept of alter ego now. Not at this point in time. She still wanted to hug him. She didn't take her eyes off the floor. "Killing you would lead to my own demise anyway. I can't.. live without you." She was sure she hadn't said that before, and it was just as demoralizing as all the other things she said. However she shook her head. "You shouldn't forgive me for something like that so easy. Actions don't go without consequence. I don't know. I need a consequence." She finally walked over to him, and hugged him tight, not letting go. "I should have stayed away, to keep you safe. But I found that even two days are unbearable without you."

*Shortstraw accepted the hug even if it would have killed him. he needed it as it was. He gave a nod, "I fyou really care then you have to prove it then. Thats the consenqince. I understand when theres alot going one and your end up looing it. But afterwords it seemed like i was always chasing you the whole time. i was going to leave begging almost that you would go out of your way to find me and bring me back. i thought it was time for you to start chasing me. But as i said is stayed becuse i knew this would be where i would find you. somthing you would call your own." he smiled, "i proved my love to you by puting myself on the line and giving you something you didn't have. And now, i forgive you keria..." he looked up to her, "but please prove it to me. it's selfish, but it's the truth. its the seriousness i feel."

Kiera looked to him and nodded. "I will prove it to you, then." A thought suddenly popped into her head. "Oh yeah, speaking of which. While I was away, I made you something." She took off her backpack and fumbled to get it open, she pulled out a box, about the width of her hand, and held it in her hands. "It took me a while to make this. If I could, I would have painted or something like that. But I'm no good." She smiled at her box, then brought her hand down to open it. "It's just, you've done so much for me, and all I've done is watch to make all the effort. I figured it was time for me to do something." She opened the box, to reveal a very intricate glass flower. It looked to be a rose or something similar, but had some same qualities of a blossom. At the base of the flower, was a little green colour, that seeped through into the centre of the flower, morphing to a red colour. A small stumpy stem came out of the bottom of it, and the rest of the stem was to wrap around the thumb of the holder. Kiera handed the box to him. "I stayed up all night and most of the day to get the petals right, it really was a pain in the a**." She tucked her knees up to her chest and hugged them tight. "That's not just it, though. It's hard to explain how I came to obtain the enchantment, but, well.. It has an artificial soul in it. Whomever is the holder of it, or carrier, who is a result of soul depletion, has this to fill whatever is missing of their soul. A symbol for a flourishing soul, that is. I had to talk to some pretty powerful witches to allow this." She smiled into her knees. "And don't worry about breaking it. It's not weak like it looks. You can throw it against something and it won't shatter." She buried her face into her knees. "I hope you like it."

*He held it up. "Artifichail soul... from soul depleation?" He studied it. It was cool, the art of it was infact alsome. however he had to ask, as he studied it, "What did you ahve to give to make this enchanted like that..." he looked to her, "It's hard for a atrifichal soul to last, more or less for it to be put into somthing. it would seem like it would require strong magic, but magic comes with a price." He smiled, "So tell me what did you trade for this to be made?" he needed to make sure he could accept it first. Else it would come down to he needed to get whatever lost back. Hopefully she wasn't going to lie. He trusted she wouldn't...

Kiera was more upset about the fact that Shortstraw had instantly gone to that conclusion, rather than appreciating the gift, and she kept her face buried between her knees. Since Shortstraw was so concerned about it, she supposed she should tell the truth. "Several big favours in the future. Nothing direct. They where good witches, anyway." Christ, even when she tried, she could never get things Right. At this rate, things weren't going to be all right again. And it was all her fault.
