"I'm sposed t'be a trick or treater," Roch said, looking down at his trenchcoat. "Since I figure this is trainin' for my future job. Sup, Gene?" he said, looking at the ghost ghoul. "How's it goin?" Amphi was nowhere to be seen--but considering all the problems humans had given her, he couldn't really blame her for not wanting to come.

Yosuke stared at the ad for a minute before grinning widely. This was it, this was his chance to prove himself. With a fist pump to nobody but himself, he hastily started filling out his sign-up sheet. Man this was gonna be AWESOME. Yin was...not sure of what he was signing up for, and he had not really put on a costume. No, just his regular clothing would have to do. He carefully wrote out his information, hoping that whatever he did was going to be okay.

Aksaja raised his brows at the handwritten sign that he found in the hallway of the dorms. Trick or Treating..? In the human world? Okay sign him up for this. Even if they couldn't go after the Hunters just now, humans would be fun to scare.

Though Thackery had no aspirations to join the Trick or Treaters as a long-term thing, he knew he wouldn't be able to sate his curiosity about the whole FEAR collecting exchange unless he volunteered. The trip with Professor QB had been enlightening in its own way, but this was something special. He got his own Trick or Treat name and everything! When he'd finished signing up, he turned to wait with the other students, catching a glimpse of a familiar boil. Familial, even. "Hi, hi Erebeus! Hi!" He stood on tippy-toes and waved to his brother over the gathering crowd of students, tail wagging excitedly. Sign-ups complete, Than rubbed his hands together, grinning cheerily as he scanned the people around him. If they were going to be honorary ToT members ( a very serious thing in Than's opinion), then they had best get to know one another. His ears perked in curiosity at Thackery and Erebus. Their...composition seemed not so dissimilar to his own, and rather immediately he thought he should go and introduce himself. Bundling his yukata around him, he plodded over in that direction...
...only to become distracted by an odd splash of color off to the side. Not that there weren't quite a few splashes of color, but this one seemed odd because of its attachment to a person...and it was a color that Than recognized. "Cherries...?!" His smile spread from ear to ear as he approached his kimono-clad victim, the pup walking right up to stand before Yosuke as the boil finished his sign-ups. "Cherry flowers? Right?" A jab of a claw towards the other's distinctive markings. "Than is verymuch liking! Hullo!" The introduction was perhaps a bit backwards, but the small Fae's tail was going a mile a minute.

Trick or Treating in the human world? Observing humans in their natural environment, getting off campus, and dressing up free money? Taima was totally there. It sounded like a good time, at the very least.

Yosuke turned sharply at the voice, almost embarrassed that he was probably caught staring at his fellow boils and ghouls. The question had caught him off guard until be subconsciously ran a finger over his cheek. Oh. Right.
"Thanks. I've had 'em forever. Gonna put a mask on though. See?" He held up the ONI mask he'd been holding, gesturing to it with a finger. "It'll scare the pants off those humans. Watch." He grinned at Than as he spoke, pretty proud of himself.
"What about you?"

Very little interest was perked by how the green-skinned ghoul responded to the demon. Even though she was curious why she'd subject herself to such chills, she could feel the temperature beginning to drop from where she stood. Instead, Agsil was far more intent on ensuring no other coins had ink dripped onto them... or the cloth she wore. That would be a pain to get the ink out of.... Never mind would have to wait till she returned to her dorm. Ugh. Dabbing at her claw she'd used to draw some of her ink out to write with, she waited till the flow subsided before she returned to rolling the coin.
How the pale boy watched it did not go unnoticed by the dragon. Her expression remained neutral. Looking was no problem. It was when someone got grabby that she had an issue. Spinar's first question only received a faint shrug at first. "Depends on how much of a mess they cause." And whom was expected to clean it up. Her eyes flickered to how the male's tail curled around the hag's leg. No really. How did she handle that cold? This was almost curious to her. Looking back to him at his second question... she perked a brow with lids sliding slightly down. What were the chances he'd give her his name in return? "I possess both, and far more," she cut back, other hand not fiddling with the coin resting on her hip. "You can refer to me as Agsil." A syllable off her full name, but it seemed fair to her.
Looking to the night hag, she inclined her head slightly in greetings to her as well. "And you two..?"

Than's good eye sparkled a bit, hourglass pupils expanding in pleasure as he beheld the other boil's Oni mask. This caused the pup to chirp enthusiastically. "Than thinksthinksthinks that that is most properly scary!" ^w^
All but clapping his hands in delight, the diminuitive boil curled fingers in the billowy extra layers of his yukata. "Than is a going to be soul-stealing, yesyes! But only sort of not really! But Than will be making them think that." Expression going serious, he gave a solemn nod, adjusting his eyepatch a bit as the scar peeking from beneath made the hidden skin it itch.
Abruptly sliding back to prior topics, he stood on tiptoe, ears swiveling as he canted his head to the side. "Is shamelike the mask will hide the pretty." Than mourned, those ears then drooping, tail missing a quick beat before it resumed its rhythm. All of his dismay then evaporated, as his gaze drifted, landing on a long, glossy-black fall of hair. "AKSAJAAAAAAA!" It was almost a howl as he waved his hand, bouncing a bit as he tried to get the dragon's attention. "Quickquickquick! Come meet Than's new friend and his cherry flowers!"

West felt as though he hadn't been out of his room for a year. Two years. A really long time. Maybe he hadn't been. Maybe time had sped up while he had tried and failed to come up with coherent thoughts again, to make sentences that others could understand and that didn't revolve around lashing out at everything that breathed, spoke or even moved. Maybe he could try again, this time outside the demon dorms.
This seemed like a good place to start.
He had flirted with the idea of becoming a Trick or Treater for a while now. At the very least, this would be good practice.

"What the-" Nox's customary cheeky look and then into one of absolute horror when he realized that he was actually, in all theory doing the one thing he had been avoiding all this time.
Supervising children.
What had Hex done?
The ifrit slapped one hand across his face and pulled it down slowly, dramatically. It was going to be a long night. "Okay, you know what, I'm getting a little desperate here so I'll take what I can get." There was a low mutter that sounded like "Even if that includes you rejects."
He slowly, feet dragging the entire way, moved himself up, front, and center, clapping his hands a few times to get everyone's attention. "ALL RIGHT LISTEN UP. Unfortunately I got stuck with you, SUCKS FOR ME, SUCKS FOR YOU TOO. Now, I hope Hex has given you the run down of how things work, and knowing him he probably didn't so I'll explain this to you nice and clear." Inhale.
"YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET ME INTO JACKIN' TROUBLE OR I WILL BURN YOU ALIVE WAIT YOU REAPPEAR AND BURN YOU AGAIN. YOU WILL CRAWL THROUGH THE FIERY PITS OF HELL AND WISH YOU NEVER MADE ME MAD."
Silence.
"Okay, now that that's over, lets get the basics done shall we?" He began passing small meters, which some students might recognized as standardized Fear meters given from the last Amityville Academy schoolwide exam. "Equip this, on somewhere visible Jackdamnit! Secondly, you are not allowed to scare past 25 points on an individual human. We are, for the sake of keeping things safe, only scaring Human scarelings. You hop into their room, shake their curtains a bit, shake their bed, they usually do the rest. Don't talk to them. Don't you dare attack them and don't even attempt to reveal yourself. Pay comes later after work well done, bubs. If you got those instructions in your skulls, you're following me. Thankfully we're going into a safe area-" Insert grumbling - "You know how Human World Halloween is, we get more access during the busy hours to collect as much Fear as we can but this isn't some Jackdamned field trip for you and you will behave or I will burn you to the ground. Or make you eternally jump flaming hoops, your choice."
The walk wasn't very long into the Weeping Forest, mostly a straightforward path from the Amityville gates. Nox selected a particularly droopy tree, knocked on it twice, and let the tree open itself, revealing a small portal. He grumbled, kicked the tree (for no good reason), and paused at the entrance. "Remember what I said about behaving, I mean it! When you're done just walk up to where you left, should be easy enough, its the largest Jack-o-lantern in the Human World area. And remember, no harming the Human scarelings we Trick or Treaters work with an art, precision, technique, don't just burst in there."
Blank stares at him. He sighed again, raising both arms as fake claws. "You know, hide under the bed in the dark. Sneak inside the closet. Shake the curtains. Make some noises. DON'T reveal yourself. Please for the love of Jack tell me you know how to at least create a good scare." OOC IT IS TIME FOR.... TRICK OR TREATING, HUMAN SCARELING EDITION IS OPEN!- Trick or Treaters are Halloween creatures that have come to gather Fear! As a Trick or Treater it is your time to shine! Go to any of the OPEN ROOM threads in this subforum and visit them. ICly your character is sneaking into their room, through the windows, phasing through walls, using the doors (gently now), however they please to get in. Once inside, they must RP trying to scare the Human scareling. - Be creative! You are not allowed to hurt or reveal yourself or even talk, but you can for example, make scary noises, shake the curtains, reveal your shadow, so on so forth. Also give the rpers in that thread some time to react to your posts! You are free to visit several rooms at once! Please RP out all posts! - Inside a Scareling room, you can only choose 5 locations: under the bed, inside the closet, inside your toy trunk, under the table OR behind the curtains, inside the bookshelf. Make sure to bold your cues (ie where you are, what you're trying to do) so the Human Scareling knows how to react! - Depending on how scared the Elementary Schooler is by the actions of the unknown (think Monsters Inc here), they can choose to not be affected, turn on the light or scream. - If they aren't affected, their Fear amount doesn't change. - If they scream, add +10 Fear to your room amount/ update the front post/ title accordingly. - If they turn on the light, add +20 Fear. Its just too spooky! After a little bit of fussing, you settle down again... - If a scareling quotes you, you are free to react... but without revealing yourselves or talking! You might even choose to flee if things get a little too close for comfort - If a room reaches a cumulative total of 100 Fear its game over! Your kid successfully believes in monsters and the room has reached its maximum Fear cultivation. If SUCCESS is at the front of your thread title so people know! That means your thread/room is now CLOSED. - Keep track of at least 5 of your rp posts! You can redeem those later for a chance minipets! exclaim If you would still like to participate but have not dropped off a form yet you still can! Simply post here with the form in the first post and a small rp and continue onwards! HAPPY HAUNTING!

As everyone began to move off, a certain fae quickly scrambled to sign herself up before it was closed, before hightailing it towards the weeping forest were everyone else had gone. Astra may have been tired (as well as a little traumatized, but then when was she not?), but when she had heard there was scaring to be done, she just couldn't pass up a excellent opportunity to have some fun.
She made it just in time to hear Nox's warning about not to cause any trouble, and to not reveal herself, then jumped into the portal.

Aksaja heard Than yelling to him and started to head toward the little Fae-hound, when he was interrupted by Nox telling them what they'd be doing. The lightning dragon paused for a moment to listen and then nodded slightly and resumed his journey toward Than. "Heya, Than . . . who's your friend?" he asked, smiling at the other boil standing there. "Are you hoping to get into Amityville too?"
Leaning in a little closer, he glanced about. "What room do you want to try?"

"I'm Trick or Treat Bloody Marie! Like Bloody Mary, the incredible, legendary Mirror Ghost," Victoria smiled, clearly holding Bloody Mary in a somewhat high position. At Hel's comments, she folded her arms across her chest, huffing as she pouted, "No! Victoria's a good ghoul! She's no gangster!"
When Shun admitted to his "crime", the ghost gasped - yes, again - before exclaiming, "Ah-ha! I knew it, Sir-" What did Hel call him...? Ah, right, "-Shun!"
