"I wouldn't be surprised. Mom has more kids to take care of..." His smile widened a bit as he continued. "Maybe I should be more worried about Beta tackling me when I get there." The smile melted away, however, when an unfamiliar male was asking who he was. His gaze switched from the male to Jaromila, hoping for some sort of explanation or simple introduction to be made.

Jaromila smiled softly when he mentioned his mother and was glad to hear how easy calling Serenity his mother came now. When she saw Huel, she heard his voice and wondered what was the matter.
"Huel, I did not expect you to me here, is something the matter? Haides, this is my brother-in-law, Huel. Huel, this is my mate, Haides, though Mama and Papa do not know yet,"she introduced softly.

Huel eyed the male speculatively before turning back to Jara. "Jara and I had foals.. but otwo is missing. We think they've been kidnapped, so we came back here... Jara is.." he looked away to blink away his tears. Once he regained his composure he turned back to Haides. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Haides. Let me escort you to Michiko. She will be able to get Jaromir."
EDIT: it has been decided that the fourth and last male would be kidnapped as well.

Their foals had been kidnapped? The scenario reminded Haides a little too much of his own family's demise. Despite his uneasy thoughts, he nodded his greeting. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Huel." He hesitated before adding, "If there's anything I can do for you... please don't hesitate to ask." Despite his reluctance to speak around others besides Jaromila, this was a cause worth speaking up about.

Jaromila gasped when she heard her sister and brother-in-law were missing two of their blankets. Her eyes softened and hoped they would be able to find them. When Haides spoke up from beside her, she mouthed a thank you to him and nuzzled him. She followed after Huel in the direction of her mother, hoping her mother was okay.
"I take it Jara went out to look for the missing young, right?"she asked.

Jaromir had been watching from afar. He saw his daughter and an odd male approach but was too distraught to greet them. Jaro didn't even know how his daughter was staying so well composed, even his son in law that he wasn't exactly fond of was remaining fairly composed. The father let his son in law greet the two as he watched them start making their way down the hill. With a sigh, he started down as well, but at a quicker pace. The male would get there before them, he would NEVER let anyone unknown near his family again.
Jara had in fact not gone out in search of her missing children. She found it hard to move at all, it was difficult enough just getting to her parents. She spent her time in a small alcove of trees just off their main living area. Her heart was broken with the disappearance of her son and daughter, so much, in fact, that her sister went off immediately in search of them. The female didn't really want her sister to be gone but there had been nothing she could have done to stop her. Huel spent most of his time patroling and taking care of her as her father did. Her mother kindly took it upon her to help with the remaining foals. What was that? She thought she heard voices.

Haides smiled slightly at Jaromila's nuzzle, nudging her gently back. His eyes fell on the distant figure of Jaromir. "Do you think any of the others will remember me?" he asked Jaromila. Huel, Jara, and Jaromila's other older sister hadn't met him, but her parents and other sisters had.

Michiko saw her mate start at a quick pace towards their daughter, Huel and the new male but held her place. There was a familiar tint to his pelt but she couldn't be sure.
Bruin wiggled uncomfortably next to his grandmother.
Huel looked towards where he had last seen Jara. "I don't know where she is... But she's not with Nae..." he sighed and shook his head sadly as he watched Jaromir approach. "Jaromir, this is Haides, Jaromila's mate." He introduced calmly.

Jaromila was able to get from Huel that Nae was out looking for the blankets, but Jara was somewhere else. She could not imagine what it would feel like to have babies taken from her and she looked very worried for her sister. When Haides spoke up, she could only hope her parents and other siblings would remember him from the get together they had. Then she saw her father and could see he was worried.
"Hello Papa,"she greeted.

Haides dipped his head in slight greeting as he was introduced--or well, reintroduced, really--to Jaromir. "It has been a while." He wouldn't be surprised if the stallion didn't recognize him; he'd been a young colt when he'd seen him last. And he probably hadn't expected that little, quiet colt to become his daughter's mate.

Jaromir, more withdrawn and cautious than ever, stared down the male that had come with Huel and his little Mila. Who did this stallion think he was to be coming with his daughter..oh, mate? He rethought his former question, who did this stallion think he was trying to be his daughter's mate? The protective father still didn't think Huel was deserving of his Jara, but chances were, he'd never find anybody that was really suitable in his eyes. "Haides. Yes. The young colt we met long ago." He said no more, his eyes flicked between his daughter, son in law and well, now other son in law.
Jara heard her dad talk about a Haides and her sister and Huel was there. She stood, her body more thin that usual from her lack of eating, but she must see her sister. Walking out of her little alcove, she went to stand by her father, gently nodding to Huel to let him know she was okay. "Hi Mila." Nodding towards Haides, she cocked a back leg, any one could see how worn she was.

Jaromila looked from her father to Haides, seeing the way her father was sizing him up. She took a deep breath, hoping her father would not give her mate trouble. She was just about to say something, when she saw her sister come over. She could see that her sister was not doing well and her hearts went out to her.
"Hello Jara, it is so good to see you, though I wish under better circumstances. Haides, this is Jara, one of my older sisters I was telling you about and that you had not been able to meet. Jara, this is my mate, Haides, he met most of the family during a get-together we had with our two families,"she explained softly. She wasn't sure what else to say, seeing the pain written all over her sister.

Haides met Jaromir's gaze, something he hadn't been able to do for more than a few seconds as a colt. But now he wondered why he'd been so afraid to meet the stallion's gaze back then. Yes, Jaromir was intimidating, especially when he was staring him down for being with his daughter, but he wasn't evil. He nodded to confirm Jaromir's statement about him before turning his attention to the thin mare that approached. He returned her nod of greeting, not speaking until Jaromila specifically introduced him and had finished talking herself. "It's nice to meet you." Like his mate, he noticed the pain in Jara's demeanor and said nothing more; Jara would probably respond much better to her immediate family than to him. The last thing he wanted was to get under anyone's skin.

Huel looked at his new brother-in-law then to Jaromir. "Jaromir... I would like to go find my brother. I believe he could help us find Niniane and Aduro... Haides..." he turned the black male. "You know the King's land better than I. My brother has a Chosen by the name of Sebastian that works for a bed and breakfast as a chef near the King's land. Do you think you may be able to help me find him?" He asked, looking over at Jara with equal pain in his eyes. He couldn't stand seeing her like this.
Michiko stood, tucking the two males close to each other before she made her way towards her mate and children. "Whats going on?" She asked curiously.

Haides nodded. "I think so. It shouldn't be too hard," he replied. He did indeed know the land well; he'd been traveling it for months. "If we're having trouble, we can ask my mother and her Chosen." If that's what he could do to help, he'd do it. No parents deserved such heartbreak. Even so, his tired legs quivered at the thought of more walking. But he'd deal with it. He had to go and see his family in the King's lands anyway; one small detour to find Huel's brother wouldn't kill him. His gaze shifted to Michiko as she walked over. He felt a bit nervous, though he kept it off of his face; Jaromir's reaction was predictable, but how would Jaromila's mother react to him being the new son-in-law?
