Zim outwardly was just as lost as he was inwarldy, perhapes not as much but very close. Zim bablld so much and so fast that the words evnetually all blended togeather in a storm of hysterical sobbing.
tyhe cold metal of Gir's decaptiaded head felt colder than it had sense he started hugging the damend thing. It made things worse becuase it only soldified that he was gone forever, his memory drived was curshed beyond repair.
Not evne registering the clank of the head falling to the floor or the face that his whole front was not burried in warm clothing and human. Zim clung to the one that was once his enimy but now his Tallest.
Nearly five minutes of him clinging to Dib in hysterics and the ex-invader suddnley droped his arms form around Dib. "Zim better." He said though he sounded drained of all energy he seemed .. better.

What was Dib talking about? Zim was confused why dib asked about why he hadn't opened his eye, couldn't he tell? "There is no second eye Dib." He said simply and giving Dib a look that said 'you Can't Tell'. All his self repairs and fast helaing were useless against a burned and nealry torn out clusered of cells.
the best he could have was blackend and scared up hole were once he had a blod red eye, he was inwarldy thankful to some extent that his torutures worked on only one and not boht. Oterwise he had no idea were he would be.
"As for the kitchen .. I ate all your sugary cookies ealirer." He said simply while his Lekku seemed to twitch and move around more now. Still feeling akward adn unsure of himself the ex invader simply took to staring at a poster Dib had in his room.
"o more fights for taking over than." He siad suddnely though it wasn't in a sad way more of a relaization and partically as if wondering what now.

Zim simply shrugged not knowing himslef what exaclty to say. this was.. way to knew and akward for both of them. Once enimeis turned to .. whatever it was they hav ebeen for years. Zim would consder it an equal to some extent though humans were not AS supiror as Irkens but Dib was close enough to some extent.
"Shirt's warm." Zim said simply though if his Tallest wished it returned though. "unless... my.... My Tallest wishes it returned." Zim said and it seemed to cause some level of pain to now offially aknoledge dib as his leader ubt some confrotn and removal of insanty was there as well. "Zim must obey his Tallest regardless. So Zim shall .. obey the Dib." He said simply though he wouldnt hodl back some of his resentment towards Dib soley ont he bases that he was a human.

"You are my Tallest regardless if I like it or not." Zim said simply and no he was not overly thrilled despite the fact that his programming demanded he be gratful for a non verbally abusive leader for a change. "Programming demands that Zim be repsectful to his Tallest .. regardless. understand?" He asked though his Lekku lay soewhat against his head indicating he was growing annoyed. not entirley with Dib no just annoyed at the situaiton more than anything.
What was he heonsty suppost to do now? Serve the human? A digusting thaught but it was a purpose regardless, a pathetic weak purpose.
"I am sworn to protect and defend my Tallest regardless Dib. Thus adressing htem correlcyt as well, evne if i dislike you as a species. Don't forget that. Programing also demands that .. if in the event that yoru life is .. in dnager .. I must sacrife my own to save yours. don't get any funny ideas about that. Dib .. Beast!" he blurted the last word out in an attempt at normacy for both their sakes.

At wheever they were that Dib Took them

Zim didnt like this place. It was cramped, it was hot and other than beign to filled with humans it STUNK. "Zim thinks something died int eh airways in this bulding." He muttered and he had a feeling he proably wasn't entirely wrong on that assumption.
The I'm Still An Invader part of his mind said that a new disguise was in order and that if Dib saw it he'd be ruined. But the part that now registered Dib as his Tallest was thrilled and delighted that his TAllest wished to give him somethign yet again.
Also he was about ready to hit that screaming baby with somehting he had in his Pak if it didnt cease it's wailing soon. "Please tell Zim not all Earth Pigs are that loud as shmeets." He asked up at Dib while they looked though some old clothes for Zim to wear.

As much as Zim hated Earth clothing he didn't have much choice in this anner saldy. At least the styles had some symbolance to what he could tolerate to wear on this wretched planet. Even Zim had to admit the ansomble he was wearing was .. stupid. Beyond rediclous and what shocked him was that depsite how literlaly exposed he was no one noteced.
He was once again blown away by the sheer stupdiy of the human race. He really needed to stop being surpsied by their sutpdity one of these days.
"none of this fits." He said while him and Dib made sure to stick to the back of the sotre, simply for both their sakes in the off chance that SOMEONE with a brain mgiht catch Zim. "The Tallest isn't suppost to give Dib." He said tyring to get his head wrapped around this whole situaiton better.
Red and Pruple never did anythign for their soldiers. So why was Dib?

After at Zim's Place

The Mall fortuantly, or unfortatly depending on who you asked, didn't explode no one found out about Zim and .. well boht got soemthign new to wear. The base was barely funcitonal now, but functional to some extent. Btoh down int he deepest reaches of the Pit that was Zim's lab the Irken typed what seemed like a mllion miles an hour, wearing his new clothing mind you while Dib seemed to just sit in the background.
Zim took no offense sense the human though inpressive enough to use and reverse engeen Irken technology to some extent he didnt know how to acutally fully repair it. Plus the Tallest dint need to to do such trival things ehtie. "Power is bakc on, so is the main ocmputer. Secrity is slwoly comign online ... everythign else .. still repairng." He muttered allouwed while glancing at twelve different screens at once and typing on a large contorl board but than swtiching to six differtn one every few seconds.
