This is Sergent Damewood, come hell or high water, it will be done. Luke stopped mid-thought to reply to Tarlotte. "Eh?.. oh, I mean, everyone, soon enough third platoon, the rest of the Black Hearts, will be here, and they answer to me,... they won't stand for what is going on, and what happened... so we just need to wait, kay?" Luke said softly but reassuringly. Patting Tarlotte on the head. Looking back to Evelyn, "So?... what do we got that we can do now... I've been here for almost a week now."

Luke says re-assuredly, while patting her on the head briefly. Luke looks back to Evelyn waiting for his answer.

Evelyn is so busy being angry and pacing that her reaction to Luke is delayed by about a minute. When she finally answers, however, her mood is cheerful again, like nothing had happened. "Uhm! I dunno!" she announces with exaggerated happiness. "I'm almost surprised they haven't sent us on any recon lately."

"Nothing to do... and nope, we can't very well patrol anything... if there is only six or so personnel on base... and we don't even have proper transport to anything... like the island, yet." Luke said sarcastically, but also factually. Luke leaned back, and just looked at the two with him.

Evelyn taps her foot and crosses her arms impatiently. "Well how should I know?!" she barks. "You're my superior, so aren't YOU supposed to know?" Evelyn seems to be getting angry, but it's still apparent that she's just trying to mess with Luke. Then she suddenly gets an idea. "Hmm... We COULD see what the new girl can do..."
