"Cleenup cleenup~" Riyo half-sung as she skipped behind Deacon, picking up whatever he didn't. Did she mind? No, not really. The past couple nights had been fun, and though there wasn't really a reward for such a task, she could still make a game out of it. "I becha I can find more wrappers than you, Deacon."

But what was with those footprints? How funny. Maybe some ghost couldn't make up their mind on whether they wanted to float or not.

At first he could only reply with something along the lines of, "Fflkjffjdsjknkjdfdssdf-!"

And then Amrita helped him out of the despicable disposable, though the greedy thing was trying to nom on her arm in retribution for the loss of is scrawny meal. Once Mort got his bearings he shot the thing with a few bolts of electricity to force it off, pushing his glasses up with a sigh. "Th-Thanks. 'Ve got, er, some needle n' thread if need -"

"Mortimer James McNeal."

He stopped abruptly and whipped his head towards the voice with a frown, a small shiver inching down his spine. "Who's . . .?" No-one knew his middle name save for his mother, and that most certainly hadn't been her voice. What was . . . What. He rubbed the back of his neck to ward off the strange chill and distinct notion of bad feels, turning to speak with Amrita once more when a spot of red caught his eye. Belladonna looked like she was on the verge of panic - not far from her, Alex also was seen though in far more calm than his ghoulfriend.

"Mrrr. Don't like this mist n' voices n' crap," he muttered, beckoning them over. Just what they needed at the end of a lovely festival: weird s**t.

When he overheard Riyo behind him, it was a welcome distraction. It was probably for the best that she was in this state, considering she'd probably be even more pissed about having to clean up other people's garbage if she were in her right mind...

"Bet you can't," Deacon replied, managing a small smirk at her over his shoulder. "Our bag feels like it's half full, after the pile we just picked up." He lifted the bag a little to make his point, tilting his head to gesture to a small bare patch of ground.



When he looked up from the ground, Deacon frowned. "Where's the fog coming from?" He asked, as though Riyo could provide an answer. "It's... Strange."

Riyo stood proudly and readied a verbal retaliation against the boil. "Yeah? Well I-" All at once the ghoul halted her speech, ears standing at attention, then one tilted off to the side.

Her head turned slowly towards one of the empty booth. There. Just now. Her name. Someone had whispered her full name. But... Nobody knew her full name. Cept her parents, and that most certainly didn't sound like them.

Deacon's comment almost went unheard as she practically stared holes into the booth. Whatever it was... She didn't like it. No, not one little bit.

Carefully, her arms reached out to grab one of the cat boil's as if he might float away, her eyes not leaving the area the sound came from.

Cleaning? Yin was one of those ones that had cleaned up his entire booth, but he would clean more if given the opportunity.

The real downside to this was that when he put his trash in the garbage bin...it wanted more than just the trash he had picked up. He had to fight himself free, but at least Miss Danny had also suffered the same fate and was in a trashcan.

The fuzzy vision that she refused to dare call it for what it was had the witch in the beginnings of a panic. Enough so that when she heard a deep rumble, however familiar it was, it still made her jump. Both hands pressed to her mouth to keep from shrieking or making any sort of high pitched noise and thus give away her current state.
Just Mort.
With a deep breath she toddled forward toward him, though the left over scraps of some token wrappers caught her eye. Trying to look busy (but mostly hoping that lots of blinking and a potential change in altitude, however small, would dispel the strangeness of her eyes), she quickly bent down to grab up the wrappers. It was a bad move because her back hurt all the more and after she dumped them into the garbage, both hands grabbed at Mort's arm, harder and grabbier than intended.

This was also a bad move, because that gave her the perfect opportunity to tighten her grip and stare up at him, her eyes a little wider than she liked.
"You're h-hearing... Voices in all this f-fog?"
Perhaps 'panic' wasn't quite the best word for all that...

And then a second later -

"Yǐn Cáng," Ace repeated the name with as accurate of an accent as he could. Now seemed like a good time to build a good relation with his future potential customers. "You uh-" he paused. Something was different but he paid about as much attention as Yin did on him. "You uh.. wouldn't happen to know where any of the teachers are right now.. would you?"

Oh yea. Ace was weirded out. And yes, his immediate wish was an adult be around. So that not only could they pick up this mess for him but also make him feel a little safer. Something was obviously off here.
