Dust nodded having no idea of the significance of his actions. “Of course I would love to meet more of Rikka’s family. After all you have all done such a wonderful job of raising such a beautiful kind hearted vixen.” He smiled at her. “Few I know would have gone to such lengths to help a stranger on a task not their own.”

Rikka laughed nervously."okay then Rhea Mind bringing us to see my dad...." she wondered how this would go, Dust meant well but her dad was a thief that would steal to suit his own needs, yes it was usually to help her family, but he was still a thief.But dust was good at seeing the good in people. she just prayed that she wouldnt say anything tht her dad may take offensively.
Rheaha nodded."very well then". Rikka a good girl? she was the more wild of the family constantly picking fights, probably because Rhea spent so much timne around her, and the whole late bloomer drama she had faced. Rhea began to walk towards a small area marked with an old blanket with a cat face painted and stained in with mud and dyes from fruits. Kuro Home base.

Following the females Dust was silent the whole time. He had no idea what to expect and Rikka had spoken of her family as thieves before. It hardly mattered to him then because it was done to protect or survive not out of malicious intent. Perhaps her father would be different, but it was doubtful. After all children lived what they learned and Rikka had learned to help and to care. This spoke well of the family in his mind. Rheaha was quite and a bit.. odd, but then most family had a member or two like that. It wasn’t a bad thing and Dust felt like there was more going on her mind than she let onto. Perhaps it was the intelligence behind the stare.

Rheaha walked inside, with Rikka close behind. The cave was as they left it a bit clean.Rhea found a gray lump on the floor. Loud noise was coming from it. She glared at it then stepped on the tail that protruded from the rear."hey Kazu wake up!" She yelled. Causing the large lump to stirr rolling awake.
Kazuto blinked for a moment. And looked around. "Oh hey sis..." he yawned

The loudness of the shout made Dust blink and wince some sympathy forming for the male on the floor. This was Rikka’s father? He really hoped the male didn’t get woken up like that often or he’d be half deaf. Still Kazu had been snoring fairly loud so perhaps his pity should be reserved for those that slept in the same den. He sat down with his tail curled around his paws and waited patiently. His ears were straight up to catch every sound as he was on alert to find out more about Rikka’s family.

Rhea glared daggers at her brother. "Some captain you are. Sleeping this late in the day. You were sleeping when I left earlier too!"
Kazuto laughed"I was taking a na-" he began before getting cut off.
"You were in the exact same place!" Rhea growled"least you could do is tidy up...."
Rikka Sighed at her family excessive loudness.

The yelling was definitely not what he expected. He coughed politely to bring attention away from the male so he would stop being ah… dissected. “My apologies at my undue interruption.” He nodded to Rhea and Rikka both. “I find resting with my eyes closed to be rather meditative.”

Rhea shook her head. "I appreciate your input,but I know my brother."
Rikka shifted closer to Dust." Hey dad...?"
Kaxuto sighed at Rheas fierce attack, but moved his attemtion to rikka when she called him."hmm?"
Rikka cleared her throat"This is Dust.... Ive been traveling with him a few days now and I uhm...."

Dust simply didn’t answer since he did not know the male as well as the female did so it really wasn’t his place to say more. As the male turned his gaze to Rikka and him a thought popped into his head. “Rikka has been most helpful on a quest I had undertaken. She is a valued ally.” He was comfortable around Rikka which was no small feat.

Rikka stared at her father. "And I want to continue doing that as well." Kazuto was taken back by this, "are you sure Rikka?" He asked. Rikka nodded,her tail wraping around Dusts tail tightly. Kazu shook his head. "I dont know Rikka" he started before he was cutt off from a voice behind Rikka  "Let her go Kazu." Miho said walkibg into the den passing her daughter ,causing Rikkas tail to sway."I can see whats going on here and she should be able to go."

Dust tail moved with Rikka’s due to her holding it so tight. He had no idea who this other fox was but still he nodded to her respectfully. He was glad that Rikka wanted to stay with him. While he didn’t have a set place in life beyond finding and helping eliminate evil from the world it was a lonely life. With Rikka there he could keep going and not feel lacking. He also knew he needn’t worry for her safety because it was clear Rikka could handle herself, well except against a water fox. That was a rash action but he was sure he could keep her safe from the finned fox.

Rikka looked at Dust. "Uhm Dust these are my parents. Miho my mother. And dumbass errr Kazuto my dad." She motioned towards her parents individually. "They along with my Aunt and siblings are one portion of the kuro. As well as me."
Miho looked at dust." And this is the man youve chosen to be with? She asked curiously.recieving a nod.

Is more shocked that Rikka would refer to her father in that kind of name at first. “I see. It is a pleasure to meet you all.” The female did look a lot like Rikka, so he was unsurprised that Miho was her mother. Rikka’s mother didn’t quite make sense to him. It sounded like he was Rikka’s indented and not just a partner. Still it was not his place to argue with the word choice of those he hardly knew. He gently patted Rikka’s paw at her nod in support with a soft smile. It was a dangerous thing to travel at times and she was choosing to come with him. It meant a lot to him, but he would not steal her forever. “We will visit often.” He said this more for Rikka but aloud to the rest fo the family was not such a bad thing.

Rikka nodded at the what dust has said."yeah we'll be around alot."her tail wagged but she felt that her mom was getting the wrong Idea of them. And dusts words and actions seemed to only add fuel to the fire. She glanced at both of her parents. Yeah they had the wrong idea.tl

Dust looked at Rikka she seemed to be peering intently at her parents looking for something. He wasn’t sure what it was but he hoped things were going well. Perhaps he should give her some time alone with her parents? After all when he had first left his homeland he had a private farewell to deal with before heading out publicly. Being ever respectful he nodded his head to the parents and began to back out of the cave. “I’ll be at the entrance waiting for you Rikka.”
