With all that was said needing to be said between the two men, Alistar turned around and headed back for the lab. He could feel the girl shiver in his arms.
"No more, needles..."
Alistar blinked as the girl muttered words. "No needles, I promise." He whispered back. He had a policy of not making experiments out of people unless they wanted to help.
He was soon in his lab, it was also his home. Alistar rested the girl on his living room couch and prepared his things to check on her.

Emma was now drenched in sweat. She coughed ever so often and she tossed and turned her head. She was riddled with fever induced dreams. She moaned and shivered.

Alistair returned quickly with a bag full medical items. That's when a familiar sound reminded him of his research. "I don't believe it..." He quickly placed a thermometer in her mouth, unbuttoned her top and took out his stethoscope.
She was coughing, this was uncommon! Alistar went into the kitchen quickly and got himself a wet rag to put on her forehead. Afterwords he listened for her coughs and the beat of her heard with the stethoscope.
"She's running a fever, but how..."

Emma had been at a high tech lab from most of her life and did a lot of experiments to the point where she was anemic from them taking too much blood, dehydrated, and her immune system was so weak that just by stepping outside made her sick with a fever and cold. One of her arms fell off the couch and it could be seen where all the needles had gone in to her. Her other arm had it about the same number of needle puncture marks as well.

Alistair caught her arm as if fell off the side of the couch. As he did, he noticed something peculiar with her arm. There seemed to be puncture wounds caused from excessive use of needles. Her appearance didn't seem like one using drugs, so that could only mean that she was experimented on before. That would explain why she muttered something about needles earlier.
He placed her hands together on her stomach and re-buttoned her clothing, finished with listening to her body. Going into his bag, he took out some medicine for a fever. He raced back into the kitchen to get her some water to take it and lifted her to a seated position.
"Hey, can you hear me, miss? I need you to take this."

Emma really struggled to open her eyes. She managed to open her mouth just a little bit. She felt so weak. She coughed again and it seemed dryer.

Alistar held the girl firmly around his arm, he could see the struggle taken place just to open her mouth. He saw the state the labs left the girls in before, they had not tact for human life. He placed a medication pill in the back of her mouth, followed by bringing the cup to her lips and slowly pouring it down her throat. He made sure to be gentle so that she didn't choke on the water.
"Easy and slow, just like that. You should feel a lot better in a couple of hours."
Because there were little, if ever a need for them, no one developed the pills anymore. Alistair had to make them himself in his lab.

Aisley Kiryuu Asha had fallen asleep because she was exhausted and had been running for so long. She curled into a ball and leaned against the window.

Asha wakes up some and sees that she's at some daycare. She fadely remembers something about picking up someone from daycare. Asha didn't say anything, since she was tired and hungry.

Emma swallowed the water and the pill. She soon relaxed but her stomach growled. All she had to eat was the half of bread and that was not much.

Alistair nodded his head in approval. The girl managed to get the pill down, that was good, but by the sound of her stomach, she seemed to be hungry. He didn't have much, but there was enough there to feed her. "You hungry? I can get you something to eat." He laid her back to rest and placed a blanket over her body.
Alistair then went to the kitchen for the third time. This time, he was preparing a meal for her. Mashed potatoes and gravy with a side of eggs and sliced fruit would be the order of the day. Nothing that she would have a hard time chewing on.

Asha opens her eyes and sees that Xhain had pulled in a driveway, so she gets up some and stretches a bit. "How long was I out?" She asks.

Asha gets out of the car and follows them inside, though she really didn't know if she was supposed too or not.
