"Oh. You think?"
Lizzy looked down, back up, and then down again, contemplating over Mac's words; he was right - as usual - and if he felt anything like how she was feeling right now, it might be best not to prolong this. This hurt way more than the Jericho incident; the promise that he was going to spend Fright Night with her was probably the only thing keeping her from locking herself in, and thinking bad thoughts that wouldn't benefit anyone.
"Alright... But we're still spending Fright Night together, right?" She asked, perking up all of a sudden as she remembered something, "Oh! Oh oh! And I found something at one of the Fright Night booths that reminded me of you!" Producing a small brass coin - a key printed on one side, a Cerberus silhouette on the other - from her pocket, she cleared her throat, and turned the "puppy" side towards Mac, pointing at it, "See, a Puppy on one side~ And on the other-" She lowered the tone of her voice, reading off the key side in as sagely a voice as she could pull off, "Put your money where your mouth is."
Giggling, she lowered the coin, "It's for someone's SC campaign, but it just reminded me of you for some reason! Annnd I got you a Tart Puppy! It'll get along with all the puppies!" She wriggled her fingers, "I didn't bring it with me though. I'll pass it to you another day."
