All this time Tasuki had felt like he had nothing to live for, like he was spending all of his waking energy building an industry that, in the end, meant absolutely nothing to him. It was like he had been building a kingdom with no heir. He had been completely resigned to loneliness for years. The grind had driven him into civility, but also into redundancy. He had clearly made some severe oversights. She may have been only one person, but she was the only person he had. He should have found her much sooner than this. He knew her strife matched his own at this point. She had a contagious resilience that spread like a virus. Of course that had been her life's work. It was only natural that she absolutely radiated life. Why had he become so reserved? He understood the dichotomy that had been presented to him when he began his new life, or at least he thought he did. Perhaps he paid more of a price than he had anticipated. His world was slowly turning upside down. It was being stifled by his reason, or was it his fear? His eyes narrowed into focus and he found himself drifting off, his eyes dropping down her body to become lost in thought. Was his pride the only thing keeping him from giving in now?
As her eyes traced his features carefully, Tasuki could feel the warmth in her heart touching his. As she gripped his vest he took a deep breath and couldn't help but crack the saddest smile of his entire life. She was as alone as he was. He had been alone by choice, more or less a stubborn recluse. Maybe this was what he needed. Maybe this was the purpose he had needed but was too ignorant to find. Was it hiding in plain sight? He felt his rejection pushing forward inside of him and he knew clearly in his mind it was stubborn pride. That didn't make it any easier to squelch. As she kissed his cheek he came to consciousness once more. Her words were coated with the thick scent of her comforting personality. It was painfully obvious to him that it was only a disguised discomfort. He hadn't taken her feelings into account when he came here. It hadn't even occurred to him that he might hurt her this way. Her tears were a stark reality check. It wasn't real life he had been living in. It was too terrifying to look out of his tunnel vision when he had finally become a seemingly functional and successful individual. His mind was such a mystery to him sometimes. He could understand everything from it's many angles but was powerless to overcome his predetermined expectations. He understood that he was on the verge of a relapse of sorts. It was a relapse of good things though. Was it even possible to break his pride long enough to accept it? She was making it incredibly hard to maintain stoicism. It was time for him to use his words and not his mind. His words for so long had been so few and he had lived almost exclusively in his mind. It was almost like he was learning to walk again. The words were going to fail him and he knew it, but he had to start somewhere.
He reached forward and gripped the edges of her jacket securely to straighten them up before running his hands down it to flatten it out where it had become disturbed. His eyes were down at his hands as he did it and he used the time to collect himself. It was the simple gestures like this that were giving him regrets now. There was something here that was worth living for. He wasn't sure if it was her he wanted to live for or just the idea that this one illusive thing still existed for him. After fixing his vest and taking his own deep breath to contain himself he allowed his eyes to meet hers again, feeling a soft hole melting deep inside of him from the reflection of her tears. It pulled him closer to the edge he was teetering on.It was time to put on the big boy pants and push aside the redundancies of his previous intuition. It wasn't in his character to weigh the options any longer after he made a decision. He went after something and he cut everything else completely loose and took care of business. His voice burst through as though he had skipped through hours of argument and counter logic and completely circumvented the emotional troubles of the event. There was a strong undertone of appreciation that accompanied a soft smile as he began.
"All right you haven't got to be so damned respectable about everything. You can't always look out for other people's feelings you know. Sometimes you've got to take care of what you feel is right for you. That's what I've been doing for my entire life and I figure it's time that I cut it out and took someone else into account for a change. If there's anything I've learned in this broad dark world it's that there is always a way to change something if you're willing to take the risk. I may yet die Magik, but it won't be for lack of trying. You've shown me that I don't want to leave this world while you're still in it. If I am going to die we haven't got time to sit here feeling sorry about it. Clear your tears and lets start getting on with this life business."
With a deep breath he turned his head to the doorway.
"I think a walk is a good start."

Magik hated the sniffing that you were always left to do after crying. Pulling a handkerchief that she pulled out of her jacket pocket, she had learned to be prepared, somewhat. Drying her eyes would help her somewhat, but her eyes were still somewhat red. She hated that too. Crying might be good for the body and the soul, but the feeling it left you with, the whole reasons you cried, certainly didnt.
"It's a wonder I haven't been dying from Cirrhosis of the liver. Used to drink like a fish." She laughed sadly, mostly to try to keep the conversation somehwat light hearted, but with his news, it was abit late for that. "I always do remember the walks we used to take though. All the silliness we used to do. But some of the best conversations we ever had were during those walks." Yeah, figures Magik would be the sentimental type, go figure.
She stepped out of the Tea House, waiting for him to follow as she stuffed that handkerchief into her pocket. She'd let him pick a direction, because all she wanted to do was walk, and maybe, just maybe he'd run across something else that might get him somehow interested in life again. "You never did tell me how you were dying, Tasuki? Is it by choice or is something wrong? Once I think I get past this, I'll be fine. Then I can start thinking of ways to possibly help, if I can. And yes, I do always have to be so, quote respectable about everything, unquote." It made her laugh, again wiping at her eyes with the back of a gloved hand.
"Taking care of what I think is right for me...is taking care of who I can. It always has been. Not so much the Mother Hen anymore though, am I? Alex left after I told him I didn't need him anymore. Peppa vanished, haven't seen my best friend in eons. Raz slowly gave way to his ennui. Adama had to die to complete his majin duties. Everyone else sort of just...went their own way. And here we are, still here...I'd like to think there has to be a reason why we're still standing here, Tasuki. Because without a reason, what do I have? What do any of us have?" Was her left hand just shaking, she had to keep the dam from breaking, putting back all her sorrow, all her sadness, before it overwhelmed her again.
She stopped on the sidewalk, turning back to face him, but not yet picking a direction. She would leave that up to him. Just as she'd leave the decision to live or die if he could stave it off up to him. "I'm being serious, Tasuki. For knowing you for so long, I think I deserve to know what's going on, I mean really going on inside of you."

Tasuki listened quietly to the love Magik had shared and lost over time. She had gained so much happiness only to lose it. He didn't feel that love was something plausible to people like him. He hadn't shared actual love before. He had always been a machine at heart, throwing the word around gingerly between women from one night to another. Back then he couldn't even remember what character he was in half the time. He felt like the world was just one big game to play and he was the master. He'd tug at strings here and there and play the fool more often than not. There was always enough talent to get him through his irresponsible lifestyle one way or another. To be honest life had grown so monotonous and dull to him he had just begun to create whatever he pleased out of it to entertain himself. He was self-destructive to say the least. It was his own slow and painful form of suicide. Deep down he had known all those years that he really only wanted to go out with a bang. It was much easier to have fun with life when you've got not respect for your own, let alone the lives of others. Part of him wanted so badly to meet that one contract that was simply too much for him to handle. He almost had it with Magik.
There she was next to him now, her eyes reddened and shimmering with the semi-dried tears of her good nature. There was an eerie beauty that struck him from within the reflections that shined back. She had killed him once before. He probably could have finished the job then and he knew it. He can still see the tritium sights of his 1911 bearing down on her as her muzzle flashed in his direction. He closed his eyes for a moment and then reopened them. Placing a hand gently on her cheek, he leaned in and pressed his lips against her forehead. How was he to tell her that this was his choice; that he had chosen to finally just go out with a whimper instead? He knew now that he didn't quite have it all figured out. He was going to fix this. She hadn't abandoned him there in that room that night where, as far as she knew, he wanted nothing more in the world than to end her life, and he wasn't going to abandon her now. He pulled away from her slowly and let his hand fall from her cheek.
"I'm going to be here for you, Magik, my only friend. You've given me too much and I've given you too little in return. I've made this decision selfishly and of my own free will and you can believe me when I say I'm going to be here for you. I could have fought my way out of this when I had nothing to live for. Now I don't imagine they'll be anything that can possibly stop me."
Tasuki took a deep breath and offered his arm to Magik. He had not felt an actual purpose behind his life in so long he literally could not remember. There was a conviction in him that his mind simply did not have a comparison for.
"You've just created a Tasuki the world has not seen the likes of Magik."
He offered a slight grin and looked out past the garden.
"Wet day like this the boardwalk must be near abandoned yeah? I think that's a good place to start living again."

Donny Cain۩════════════════════════۩ Win or lose, it doesn't matter to me I do what I do simply because I was there to do it. ۩════════════════════════۩x♎xThe moment Donny arrive, he had his Illusions up. Everyone would disregard him, no one would notice him or what he does. On a sense, he made himself insignificant. He was fine with this; what he does later would bring him renown, not what he does now. The first thing he did was drag a large metal container. What was inside was a mystery, but it weighed a ton and there was twenty more where they came form. Donny began to take out and hide in various locations, C4 Plastic Explosives. He hid them underneath the floorboards, under rocks, behind walls, in jars, in the Koi Pond, into trees, everywhere. He unloaded at least 10 tons of the stuff, with another ten he still needed to put away. But he grew tired and exhausted of all the heavy lifting, and took a seat at one of the tables. Of course, this was after he fixed the place up back to how it was; you couldn't even tell it was rigged with explosives. Donny took a seat at one of the tables, cancel the illusion that made him insignificant, and waited for someone to take his order.

Donny Cain۩════════════════════════۩ Win or lose, it doesn't matter to me I do what I do simply because I was there to do it. ۩════════════════════════۩x♎xDonny sat and relaxed as the table, sipping his tea and chew on bits of his pastries. The waiter, a pretty looking sixteen year old, was his waiter, and he wondered if he could try to score with her. He flirted with her, made some small talk, even introduced himself and told a bit about himself. But after a while, he knew that the girl had no real interest in him. Pity. Once Donny finished his snacks, he paid for his meal an reactivated his illusions, and continue to plant the explosives. After finishing unloading all the explosives meant for the Tea House, Donny got back into his truck, canceled his Illusions, and went to the next destination; the airport.

Eclipse was kneeling at a table in the corner, he didn't to take notice anything that was going on around him.He was half listening to the two that seemed to be having a very emeotional conversation. His eyes wandered around the tea house, Umbridge was still around but hadn't really done anything in a while. He wondered what kind of supernatural the man was, he was very good at disguising the fact he was one. His eyes then settled on Saiyuki who seemed to be bored, she was just standing near the door waiting for something to do.
He sensed something briefly it put him on edge when there was nothing that he noticed out of the ordinary. "Maybe... I'm just losing it" he muttered to himself. He stood up and looked around the room rather suddenly making Saiyuki jump, "Did... did you just hear someone come in?" he asked softly. Saiyki furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head, looking a little worried. Eclipse sat back down and sighed a little going back to just kind of staring at the table. Soon after he heard Saiyuki talking to a customer, that he didn't even notice come in. The man that was hitting on Saiyuki then left without him noticing, He sighed a little bit and then got up to get himself some more tea.

The tips of her nails pried the door and slid it aside. There was a pause, though not of uncertainty; to her, it were as though she stepped into another world, where tradition met modern living. Was is so strange she found a comfort in the simple arrangement of the tea room? As she stepped in, her left arm fell to its side. Pale, slender fingers peeked out from fingerless gloves where black leather tenaciously clung to the palm and the back of her hand. Sleek black leather hugged at arms and her torso, a precaution from the cold winds that came with traveling at night on her street bike.
Though she stepped in, the toe of her boot landed first, the heel carefully landing after. The lithe and stride was unusually graceful, the woman herself quite petite and lean. Dark bangs framed her cheeks her long hair plaited into a simple braid that swayed behind her. The already jade-colored irises seemed even more dull in the soft, dim setting with golden flecks occasionally catching the light. The pupils dilated, cat-like in appearance; it was perhaps the only sign that she was humanoid, though not human. The right hand was occupied: the thumb hooked along the belt-loop of her jeans as she tread lightly along the tatami.
Yes, she could feel it; He had been here. Though there were no visible sign that Donny Cain had been here previously save eyewitness account, she could feel that he had been present. Her visage was not unkind; the high cheeks and the almond-shaped eyes had often left her questioned of her heritage. Her lineage was old, her species perhaps extinct though she did not know nor care at the present. In general, she was vague in appearance; Not quite this ethnicity, yet not that one either. She with her dancer's lithe strode slowly, gracefully into the tea room, head canting back, swiveling left then right in slow fashion. If anything, the woman was studying, curious, fascinated. She was there on a job, knowing what she was looking for. As if in a daze whilst still observing, she unhooked the thumb from her belt's loop and lazily peeled the right glove off, leaving a scarred hand visible, the tiny slivers of new, smooth skin refracting what scant light was present.
There were strange scents mingled in the air. Chest rising, rising, rising, the woman inhaled deeply. Her mind sorted through the smells she was most familiar with: the paper and wood. The scent of rice alcohol and anko paste. The tang of metal, and the dizzying array of the human and inhuman scents. Yet there was something peppery, bitter and wrong to a scant scent that, to her, stood out like a sore thumb. Man made and destructive, she was curious to it as well. Exhaling a slow, long breath, she sighed quietly and tucked the glove into her back right pocket.

Eclipse stretched his neck to see who it was that just came through the front door. A petit woman was the door, he could tell right away that she was different from other humans. Even though he had just sat down to enjoy his tea he once again stood up gracefully from his table and with only a few long strides he was there to greet her. "Konnichi-wa, welcome." he said with a polite smile, he noticed right away she seemed to be looking for something. "Can I help you with anything?" he asked questioningly. Still keeping the placid and friendly smile on his face he waited for a reply, his cheeks were getting to be very tried.
He wondered briefly if this was somehow related to what he had sensed earlier and the man who had come out of nowhere and then just dissapeared again. He watched he a little curiously, she seemed like she was smelling something? He chewed on his lip a little bit and wondered if he should tap into her mind. Maybe then he could find out what was going on, or at least find out what she was doing here. For some reason it didn't really seem like she was here for tea ir snacks.

It had been a long day for Natasha; she had been singing for what seemed like days over at a local park and now that it was done she could relax. The half breed walked into the tea shop; her wings wrapped around her because it had been so cold out. A relieved sigh came from the young woman as she sat down at one of the vacant tables and took out a book from her purse and began to read. It wasn't took long until someone came by with a menu for her to pick out a tea; she did not even put her book down to look at the person and spoke in a smooth tone. "I would like earl grey tea please with three sugars." The blue eyed woman watched as the woman nodded to her then walked away from the table to get her what she wanted.
She was glad that no one had recognized her; she was in no mood to sign autographs or anything of that sort.

"Oh! You did not have to get up, thank you. I am Detective Kanzaki. I used to work with the Attacked Mystification Police Department, but I run my own...shindig, now. Call me Raven, please..." She flashed a sincere smile at being approached, slowly dipping to crouch by the floor. There was a strange lilt to her musical voice, and unnecessary soft exhale on vowels that she was used to exaggerating. Her native Matreyan accent barely showed itself, yet it was there despite being buried, "I was following a lead, and...I think everyone here may be in danger." Delicate, slender digits extended, hovering over the floor. She could feel the tingle along her palm, traversing along the fingers and up her arm. She did not mean to come off as strange, but the signature she was tracking was still strong and saturated the core of the Tea House. Coming to stand, she carefully unzipped the leather jacket, shrugging it off and draping it over her left arm. She smoothed the hem of the sleeveless olive green turtle neck. She was close enough that the faintest whisper floated through her mind, producing a single word: Eclipse. It was all that she needed.
Stepping close, Raven leaned in to Eclipse, lowering her voice until it was barely audible, just low enough for the single person to hear. "There are explosives laced everywhere here. I have an aural signature to trace and find them. What will you have me do?" It was a strange question, as Raven was prepared to do exactly as the man asked of her. She was tracking Donny himself, but she did not expect to step into a room as busy as this. Though she had her priorities, this was a particularly dangerous, delicate situation to have walked in on. Her ethic would not allow her to simply let the place explode in whatever grandiose plan Donny Cain had in mind.

Eclipse looked a little dismayed at the word detective, he was pretty much tired of law enforcement just showing up at his little tea house. "I am Ryuu Hamasaki, uh, Ms. Raven. I am the owner of this tea house." he offered her an intorduction before he really listened to what she was saying. "So, there was something," he said more to himself than to anyone else. He watched her carefuly as she took off her leather jacket and then leaned in close to Eclipse.
He couldn't say that he was surprised to hear what she had to say, it just seemed like the sort of thing his day would come to. He chewed his lip a little bit, he thought of his little tea house going up in smoke. Why would somebody even want to blow up his shop? He thought of the koi he had raised for years, and a sadness crossed his face at the thought of losing them. He looked around seeing some more customers being served by Saiyuki, he could hear Shiro choping away at something.
He looked back to Raven, "First things first, we must get everybody to safety and then I suppose after that's taken care of we can see about trying to save my shop." his voice was hushed as well.

Raven did not need her abilities as an Empath to recognize the look of sadness that crossed his face. In truth, she was also sad that it had come to this; for all the days she had been tracking Donny, he left a trail of twisted destruction behind. Raven could feel the comfort and age of this place. It practically seeped from the walls as if they were porous.
Now she sank back down to a crouch and pressed her palm to the ground. She could immediately feel the aural tracing. Everyone is capable of releasing their aura without consciously knowing it. An ethereal connection that could be followed like an unseen trail. The lids of her eyes fell shut, taking in the fresh connection. He had been here, that is for certain. There were moments where his aural tracing was far more stronger than faint. Raven speculated on Eclipse's words of something happening that the Homunculus had used his illusions, another ethereal ability that made his presence stronger to the other senses, yet not to the eyes.
Craning her neck and tilting her head to glance up at Eclipse, she sighed softly. Not wanting to spook eavesdroppers, her voice quietly sounded in his mind <"This places is laced and he may detonate them at any moment. He must have been invisible to plant as freely as he did. There are at least 20 C4 explosives just under our feet. They are inside, outside. I knew my case was bad but I did not realize it was this bad. We must hurry.">
Coming to stand, Raven gently dusted her hands off and pulled the right glove along the digits. She slunk the leather jacket back on and sighed softly, offering a weary smile, "I am sorry for this. If we can get this taken cared for the whole tea house can have a round of camomile on me." It was a half-heartened joke to substitute tea for alcohol, but Raven was genuinely sad to interrupt the cozy atmosphere. She wanted to save lives and get the truth and serve justice, but that always came at a cost. She had felt that she was not the first of law enforcement to visit, and she wondered about the vague detail of the case she had heard back at the office. With more important things at hand, Raven nodded to Eclipse. "Let's get started, then."

Eclipse sighed and looked around at his patrons as he wondered how to get them out safely without alarming anyone. The last thing they needed was full blown panic to make things worse. Eclipse sighed a little bit he didn't even need to read his customers minds to know how at peace they were at the moment. Raven's voice drifted thorugh his mind as he was in deep thought, somehow is didn't surprise him that she too was a telepath. I... I think I know how to get everybody out of here without panicking them, his voice projected into Raven's mind. He figured if he and Raven could resonate their telepathic powers they maybe be able to use it to influence everybody in the shop to leave. They would question it and there would be no panic. Perhaps... we could resonate our powers to influence the patrons of my shop? Make them think we are closing and they need to go home? If you feel you cannot I can try it on my own but it would be very draining... he did not want to shift back into his natural form, he didn't like people especially stangers to see him as the non-human he was..
"It is not your fault, it is the fault of the one who would do such a terrible deed in a place of peace. And I'll be the first to say if this all goes well I'll be happy to break out the sake." he said with a wry smile. He supposed if all went well he'd still have his sake and he certainly would be up for having a drink. Sometimes the occasion called for something stronger than tea.

"I admire your thought process." Raven smiled broadly now. She glanced down to the ground, poised as if she were in thought. This was only the illusion she wished to assume. Raven's mind began to drift, far away, lost in the process of concentration. She focused on what her Will was. What it was that she wanted to do. She, as an Empath, had the ability encroach on the emotions of others, and with enough concentration, amplify her Will and emotions to achieve one and the same.
The lids of her eyes shut, the palm of her hand down-turned to face the floor. The tingling of her palm could sense each and every connection of the patrons en-housed within the vicinity. They would feel an itch, an inkling, a formation of Nous and Noesis in their consciousness.
Leave, it said. I have urgent matters to attend to. There will always be Tea and Peace waiting for me here...
She imbued each link, each connection, like threads that filled the whole room with a sense of urgency, of feigned interest, of a need to leave and come later. It did not have as much strength as she hoped for, enough to for the mind to stir and catch notice of it. She inhaled softly, tilting her head back, exhaling a slow, clear-minded breath.
"I am the Evanescent, the Evil and the Revenant. Grant me surging fortitude to see this through until my quadrant is secure again..." She murmured softly, aligning her own mental mind with that of Eclipse, placing herself on parallel and resonate with his own ethereal abilities. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ₪☽ ♋ ☾₪

Eclipse broke away from Raven and resumed sitting at his own table, he knew that he would not be need to be so close to her physically to resonate his skills with that of her own. He knew this way it wouldn't appear strange that the two of them were just standing in the middle of the tea house motionless. It would make it easier for the patrons to accept the false reality he was about to plant in their heads if they didn't suspect that something odd was going on. He sighed a little bit it had been awhile since he had used his skills in this way. He hadn't need to use his skills in such a way since he had moved into the city. He also knew that once he did this the humans on a subconsious level be aware that he wasn't one of them and that their deepest secrets could have been exposed. This would make them seem inexplicably hostile and suspious of him for the next while.
As he sat at the table he closed his eyes and began to meditate and centre himself. The smell of tea and inscence surrounded him allowing him to relax. He took a few deep breaths and searched out every patron in the tea house making sure no one was forgotten. Then lastly seached out Raven, he could see that even though she wasn't the same as the humans that surrounded him she was still quite similar to them. He worked to match his wave length to hers instead of make her match his wave-length. It would be difficult for any humanoid being to resonate with an angel. Angels were far different in a lot of ways from humans. Please, follow my lead. I do not want you to get hurt. If you start to feel the resonance breaking don't try to force yourself to match up again. He thought to her knowing that in his minds eye his entire being was now exposed. He couldn't hide his true form from anyone in his mind. If it comes to that I will be okay doing this on my own. he paused not wanting to come off as ungrateful. I thank you for agreeing to this, the resonance allows us to evenly splint the burden.
After Eclipse finished he then began the work of supporting Raven's connections to the patrons. Then he began to plant the idea that it was time to go in the patron's heads. He worked it deep into the subconsious so that the minds he was affecting would believe that they were the ones who had the thought.
