Alex hadn't really come here for snack. He had actually wandered up for something else. Still, he was polite enough to stay and have a couple of bites of some sweet treat that he honestly couldn't really enjoy because it wasn't brains or raw meat but....well, this just seemed like the right thing to do.
Once he was finished with that little snack, he asked the host of the booth for a cup of tea. Green tea if they had it. Once he had that he very carefully and quietly slipped away, not once taking a sip out of the cup he held in his hand, and left a few silver seeds behind to make up for the fact that otherwise he would pretty much just be stealing.

Manda The lightning dragon smiled at the ghoul and nodded. "Of course, who doesn't like candy?" He leaned in a little closer as if about to tell her a secret. "But I happen to actually like meat a bit better . . . of course, candy seems to be more popular at these sorts of events."
There was a little pause and then he said, "I haven't seen you around much. Are you a new student here, or just visiting for the festival?" Ohhh my! She repressed her newfound case of the shakes-and-squees as he came in closer. He was just so... so... gorgeous! Oh, right! something to say? She took on a coquettish stance, reacting to his charm with charm of her own. "Just visiting the festival for now. I hope to be a student someday, especially now that I know what it has to offer" She giggled. "So what of candied meats, then? Meats cured with sugar?" Those existed, right? She had found a 'A halloweeners first 1001 uses for sugar', which was a delightful book about sugar.

But then again, who would normally think of putting a ton of sugar on meat? It sounded a bit odd, honestly. Still, he was willing to try new things. "I haven't heard of those before, are they good?" he asked, tilting his head over to one side a little bit.

Acerium unconciously matched his tilt of the head with one of her own. "I wouldn't know. I've never tried them. I don't eat much meat, actually." She smiled. "It does sound interesting doesn't it?"

A surprise snack? Yin was a bit wary...surprises...well they could be good or bad. But he might as well try?
The first one he tried was not that great, but the second snack...that one was actually really spot on.

Rikki was a bit dubious about surprise snacks but... well, he'd tried everything else he'd come across so far.
He should've just walked past cause they weren't that great.

Propriety and posture were completely forgotten in these moments, blue fabric flapping helplessly about as pattering paws launched the boil forward in a desperate, nigh-on airborne motion. "Aksajaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~!" There was a rather noisy trill of glee, the only warning as hands wrapped themselves solidly around the lightning dragon, the host of this little booth, a booth that Thanatos, in his absolute elation, had quite forgotten about.
He'd been scanning booths for the past half-hour, seeing a few distantly remembered faces, but not the ones that had brought the pup here. It had seemed a tedious trek, poking his nose around, and being careful not to trip anyone else up in their merriment. Not that he was afraid of them or anything, no sirree indeedlie no! Than was definitely not intimidated by anyone else here, boil or ghoul alike!
Chest heaving with exertion as he tilted flushed features upwards, grinning widely, his good eye blinked rapidly for a moment before fixating on his older friend. "'Saja! Than came to visit, yes? Good?" He said it in such a way that an outside observer might wonder if this tongue was his first language, but those with a bit of a more familiar relationship with the Fae-hound, would know it was just his own peculiarity. "'Saja has not being quicklike to send fast-letters." He murmured, tail tapping out a quick tempo against the ground. Though their correspondence hadn't been frequent, Thanatos greatly looked forward to the dragon's replies. Home was...lonely, his family's very existence a tad less than cohesive.

Aksaja was not at all expecting to be tackled in the near future, so when a dark-haired figure in blue quite suddenly hurtled into him whilst yelling his name, the lighting dragon actually yelped and stumbled just a bit. Blinking just as rapidly as Thanatos was, he finally focused upon the Fae-hound and a grin spread over his face. He'd been something of a recluse lately, staying in his room more than anything else. He wasn't even sure why, exactly, just . . . a lot of s**t had happened lately and he wanted to take a break.
But because of that, he'd lost touch with a lot of his friends here at school. So it was rather a pleasant surprise that Than was so very enthusiastic about seeing him. They'd exchanged a couple of scree-mails, but even those had been slow. "Yes! It's very good to see you," he replied, moving a hand to ruffle the shorter boil's hair. "I'm sorry I haven't written you much. Things have been a little busy." He didn't want to dwell on some of those things though. Not now. "How have you been? Still sticking around here trying to get in?" He found himself hoping that it was true . . . he got the feeling that Than would be the type of friend who wouldn't leave him alone if they didn't see one another for a few days. Which was something he probably needed.

Butting his head jovially against Aksaja's hand, he laughed softly, relief and joy intermingled. It didn't seem as though the dragon was mad at him, that having been the pup's chief fear concerning the lack of communication from the other boil, well that and that something terrible had happened to his friend. Which he was veryveryveryvery sure did NOT happen! And would NEVER happen! Because Aksaja was AMAZING and that would ensure that he was tougher than the terriblest of things. ^___________^ Yes. Naturally.
"Busy is all right, Than has been not-busy busy." There was a bit of huffing at that, ears drooping and nose wrinkling in the remembrance of long days of tedium. Couldn't get into school? Well study more had been the solution, one that the Fae-hound was not at all fond of, but was he one to argue with his sire? No. Never that. Than was most certainly not going to ever ever ever argue with Father. Not a peep. >:
"Butbut yes! Than has been okieslike other than the busybored." He hummed, still somewhat entangled with his friend. "And yesly! Than is here and be trying to get in. Made officiallies. Not person with only paper. Is a saaaaaad paper." He mourned, waving his guest pass at the tanned boil. The paper meant that he was temporary, and he'd have to leave with this affair was over. A shame he likely wouldn't have the time to see much more. Visits were like that. Hmph! If only it didn't take so long to convince Mum that trips to Amityville were not-scary and definitely not eatey-clawy-bitey as she seemed to think they were. Definitely not clawey-biteyness here. See? Only Aksaja!
At least this time he wasn't going into any Spooky-Houses. No. Nope. Not goin' back in there.

Gods, Aksaja really had missed the other. He was just . . . so different from most of the people he knew around here. Almost always cheerful, just wanting to spend a bit of time with him while he could. It took the dragon a few moments to decipher Than's speech about the sad paper, but once he got it, Aksaja nodded solemnly. "You're right, that is a pretty sad paper that you have there. I wish you could be here more too." Golden eyes lidded slightly and he moved toward one of the tables, sort of half-dragging Than - as the pup was still more or less attached to him.
"Do you want some tea or coffee while you're here? Or some snacks? They're pretty good, I think."

It was a rather belated realization that he was being dragged about by the other, that instant where the toes of his paws were almost lifted from the ground, that Thanatos realized he should probably take a step. Still somewhat adhered to the dragon, he padded along at his side, a hand on the other boil's arm in a friendly gesture, the idea of personal space on that had never fully occurred to the Fae-hound.
"Teaaaaaaaaaa!~" There was another energetic trill at that, his good eye coming alight as he realized what that meant. Beaming at his friend, he then placed a hand upon the table, looking to it, the chair, and then Aksaja again, before the most flustered of looks replaced the wide puppyish grin. "Ah! Can Than help? Does Aksaja need help? Or should Than be sitting? Ploppings?" And ears swiveling towards his host, his tail thumped once, twice, an irregular pattern, and then went to rest obediently against the leg of the nearest chair. He was all attention right now, trying to be absolutely-positutely the least of leastest burdens that he could manage! :3!

Aksaja couldn't help but laugh softly at Than's sheer enthusiasm, moving to rub at his ears a little bit. "Sit, sit . . . I think I can manage to make you some tea without too much trouble." He guided Than to a chair and kind of gently pushed him towards it until the pup let got of him before going back toward the main booth table to make some tea.
He chose one that was fairly light and sweet, figuring that Than would like that and quickly poured some hot water into a couple of cups. Then he put tea strainers in and carried both cups to the table. "Let it steep for a few minutes before you drink it, or you'll just be sipping at hot water," he warned the other. Then he went back to grab a couple of slices of cake and brought them over as well. "Snacks, though, you can eat now."

Guess the number? She loved these kind of games! X3 Natalia studies the jar of candy for a bit before trying to guess a number. She looked one more time before finally coming to an answer.
"Maybe there's 100 in there?"
She really didn't know...
