They had stumbled upon yet another booth and Mitsu felt she was getting better at pretending like everything wasn't bothering her. She didn't jump nearly as much though she still tensed and at times jerked her head around to look at something that wasn't there, but mostly she walked along calmly and had yet to squeeze Shun's hand into oblivion. For that she was sure he was thankful and it mostly required the majority of her attention so she didn't have the opportunity to be frightened.
When they came to a stop in front of the Yearbook Club booth Mitsu finally looked up to see Amrita among a few others. Mitsu offered a sheepish wave trying to be proactive and outgoing. Or at least as outgoing as she could manage.

There certainly were no shortages of booths. And it looked like Mitsu was starting to calm down. At least. He hoped so. Shun found that it was a little hard to figure out what was going through her mind when she wasn't being vocal. As they came upon Amrita's booth, he noticed a few things. There were keys, some pictures, and oh hey some bookmarks. He didn't read. But he did know that his lycan did.
After nodding to the vetala, he made his way over, carefully guiding his girl. He was glad that she managed to offer a wave.
"Looks like these are free. Why don't you go ahead and pick one up?" he suggested.

Moving closer as Shun guided her, Mitsu looked to the table to see what he was indicating. Bookmarks. Colorful ones. Mitsu's eyes brightened for a moment until her fingers touched one, a realization washing over her. As she was now, while she could still read on her own, she couldn't read to Shun. It had been one of her favorite pass times reading to the reaper not to mention she normally helped him with his homework. It was going to be much harder to do now. Picking up the bookmark on the end with a pumpkin on it Mitsu carefully examined it before she placed it in the pocket of her hoodie for safe keeping. She then turned to the booth looking over the random assortment of games. The keys seemed simple and easy. Shun would probably be happy if she at least tried to play without being encouraged. Taking up a key Mitsu moved toward the box to give it a try. exclaim UNLOCK PLZ exclaim Minisite SN: InuMitsu

Eisheth was ready to leave the booth, when she noticed a funny sort of game in the corner: the visitors, - mostly, students, - were supposed to guess the student whose blackened silhouette was placed on yearbook cover. The alchemist had a strange feeling she had seen this particular student before: at least, the figure looked quite familiar, so she decided to try her luck, as well.

That realization hadn't hit Shun at this moment, though he did enjoy their little story time sessions. He idly looked over the bookmarks, then turned towards the keys and the gate. Before he could suggest her try, she went on to do so herself. Well that was good to see.
"Damn, nice. Looks like you managed to get the right key," he remarked.
"What's in the box?"
He moved in behind her trying to get a look. He was curious what was in there and all.

Amrita looked over at the sound of her name, smiling at the sight of Ren and leaning into the one armed hug. "Th-thanks! Simple, but I think that's for the best." There were a lot of rather fancy, flashy and fun booths around; it was always good for a change in pace.
"Checking up on me?" She asked flatly; Ren did know about the tagging, after all. "I think we're okay here, actually! I've got your number if we get swamped!" Well, if he even had his phone on, anyway!
For a moment after that she got busy, calling the people who won the Who's That and giving them their tokens once they came to collect. There was a lull, and in that lull she pat poor Calder on the head, briefly trying to cheer up the poor boil.
Then Mitsu and Shun showed up; the former made her freeze, eyes wide. Mitsu...whatshouldshedo? The last time she had seen the ghoul it wasn't...err, well, it didn't end well. Was she feeling better? Did she remember what happened at all? So many questions, and not one passed her lips. She could, however, bring herself to wave back - even if it was distracted and hesitant.
"H-Hi! Um. How are you? H-having fun?" She asked to Mitsu and Shun. It was idle talk to break what Amrita saw as an awkward silence, and as Mitsu went to play with the keys the Vetala looked away as if searching for something in the distance.
"Oh! Ah, um, thanks for the guess!" She said as honestly as she could towards Eisheth, committing the - Horseman? - to memory, just in case they needed to find her for her token.

"Ah, the first box winner, congrats! This is yours." Amrita passed her the box, and then turned to fidget with relocking the gate; her hands were shaking though, making it difficult to get both spindy pieces in place and to click the lock around it. "I didn't pack them all myself...w-we made a bunch and wrapped them the same." She explained, still trying to relock the gate.
"So I don't know - or care - what's in it." The brief note of irritation was brushed aside by a small cheer as the gate clicked back into it's locked form. "YEAH! Finally!" It was set back up, a few new keys were mixed in, and a new box was put behind it. There, perfect!
"Thanks for playing! I hope you enjoy whatever's in there!" Smiles, all the smiles.(( Mitsu! Choose 2 Minis and 2 SE's from the prize pool! Also you can change out that custom bookmark for a little doodle if you'd like C: ))

The famine horseman was attracted to the booth for several reasons--but most importantly was the adorable little patchwork creature running it. She looked quite interesting, he thought as he got closer, with her backward hands and--ah, yes, feet, as well.
"Hello, darkling, might I ask what this booth is selling?" he asked as he looked the booth itself over curiously. Idly he picked up a lock, examining it as he waited for her to answer. Sadly, when he tried it on the box, it did nothing. Ah well, such was his fate with things this festival.

"Selling?" Amrita parrotted blankly. "I-I'm not...selling anything?" She stared down at the booth behind her, and then back to the plant-infested Horseman before her. That plant...she recognized those vines. Absently she held her right wrist, where similar vines were poking out from between her stitches.
"Th-this is the um...Yearbook booth! Have you ever heard of a Yearbook before?"

"Year... book," Fai repeated, his mind rushing as he tried to figure out what that meant. "Perhaps a collection of notes and forecasts about weather over the year, and the impacts it has on the horticulture of the area?" he asked. "We kept several of those--although we call them almanacs, but it could be called a year book..."
It was a much simpler title, he decided. Perhaps that was what they should call them now--

Yin stopped by the booth again. So he had been right the last time, which was hardly surprising but now...he looked at the blacked out image, and had to wonder why Miss Amrita would do this to him. Why would she call up yet more memories of being captured by using a boil that they had been confined with? He was beginning to think that Miss Amrita had it out for him, and actually liked seeing him covered in glitter and thinking about the horrible things that had happened to them.

The blank stare continued as the Horseman tried to figure it out.
"...Err, no." There was an irritated edge to her voice, but it was quickly dismissed in favour of a small chuckle. "It's a memory book for the year. When it's done it'll have a little picture of every student who went to Amity that year, along with pictures of some of the events and whatnot. You know, so you can look back and remember the good times!" Because the good times were to be focused on , not the bad.
At least, that's what she was trying to do anyway.
"Oh, here! We just got them. Maybe it'll help keep track in your almanac~" Maybe they had more? Either way, Amrita dug into a box that had been ninja placed on an empty chair and pulled out a grey bookmark, holding it out. Click for larger!

"Very nice," he said as he took the bookmark. "I found the most fascinating book the other day... something called Fifty Shades of Orange? It was just lying on the ground outside--it's been very fascinating so far, yet I dislike bending the corners. This will come in handy," he declared, slipping the bookmark into the pockets of his robes.
"You don't mind if I try again?" he asked, picking up another key. This one actually seemed like it would work--but when he tried to turn it, nothing happened. "Ah, such a shame," he said mildly. He really did want to see what was in the box.
