"Yes, well," Jerry slurred, debating sitting up but without the urge to just yet. "That was... that was pers'nal." He mumbled. Finally, he shook his head, "Who... who... who does she think she is! She... she's got NO IDEA what... what I've been through while I was here! How I've changed I've changed too she just has no idea!! She probably-obably-obably would have HATED me... I mean... I mean... I've seen that d-dark path! I... I know what it feels like, what it looks like I've been there but you know... you know what? I FIGHT to k-keep my humanity I don't just... just... THROW IT AWAY in a hissyfit! She doesn't want me? Fine. FINE. ******** HER." Then he sat up.

Rep watched the outburst with a look of approval. He liked anger. He liked people railing against s**t that wasn't fair, and nodded along. "Aye! You are the ******** better man. Its eeaaaasy to be a shithead, its easy to be a ********' monster." So easy, he thought drunkenly - like cutting through an apple. "You looked at that easy s**t and said no, I'll play my gay little guitar instead. Good man. <********> her. She can go jump off the mountain along with all the other bitches, you don't need her, you are the one in the right here and everyone can see it man. Watch her come grovelling back the minute she sees you don't need her anymore too, because ******** women."

"And... and you know what? I LIKE my gay little guitar!" He shouted, wobbling upright even more to send the bottle clattering to the floor.

"Exactly!", he barked approvingly, "Who the ******** cares if she doesn't? You should write a ******** song about how much of a s**t you don't give." He was somewhat impressed Jerry had even managed to stand up after the amount he'd had to drink already, he just kept on earning masculinity points back.
"Killzone would be proud of you man." he nodded sagely.

The name seemed to deflate Jerry a little, his expression shifting from drunken determination to drunken sorrow in a heartbeat. "Why... why did he have t'die, Rep? I'm... I'm not a lifer. I can't... do what he did."

Talking about Killzone was like someone had seized Rep by the throat, he hadn't thought out mentioning him, and turning the conversation his way had only meant he would have to deal with the whole thing he'd been avoiding. He couldn't handle it drunk, he couldn't handle it sober. "I like.. I...he was..he like gave us s..stuff to work with while he's away." He struggled with the words without his usual shield of confidence, only able to phrase it as if the man wasn't dead but instead, like Clarice - away for a while. He tried to think about something else, think about the man's words rather than his death.
"You are a Sun, man. You can do anything, you just have to put our ******** spin on it. We are all about fighting. About never ******** giving up. Taking one day at a ******** time and doing everything you can to be better. It sounded pretty ******** sun to me."

"Fighting for... for what's important," Jerry agreed, happy to let the topic of Killzone drift away.
He didn't want to think about that right now. It was too much. He couldn't take it. And here he was drinking with REP of all people because he was such a sad sap this was the best company he could ********." He finally shouted, like a bark that had been caught in his throat for far too long finally liberated.

"What's important is number one. You. Your ******** self man. Your ********' problem is you let other people define you so when they kick you to the curb man, you just take it cause you think you deserve it." he snorted.
A rather distant sounding Tracey piped up, before adding with just a bit of snark. This quiet thing was making him just a bit barbed, and he fully expected the flat out silence he was met with.
Rep smirked faintly at the yell - oblivious to his status in drinking buddy terms and completely assuming this was all part of the process of getting over a b***h, he'd watched a few friends go through the same sort of thing, always as an observer - he'd never been able to get invested in people he loathed and he loathed the entire female gender.
"But aye, its shite. The question is what the ******** are you going to do now?"

He raked his hands along his face, pulling his glasses with them as he moaned, "I don't knoooooooow... I feel... I feel like I can still fix this. But I also feel like I should just... I mean... why... why fight for someone who... who hates me but I still love her and I miss her and I want... I w-want... I want what we had before."

"Why fight?" Rep gave Jerry a look as if he had just said something completely insane - the concept of not fighting was tantamount to suicide for him. "Because you ******** want it. You want something, you fight for it, ******** what she thinks about it. Say you do all that and at the end she still isn't interested, who the ******** lost out? Her, that's who. You fought and s**t. She did ******** all."
He shrugged dismissively. "Though I'll be honest, I don't think you are ever gonna get your flute-playing non psychobitch back. You either make your peace with ******** dating her with a tendency to kick the s**t out of random people and buy yourself a cup or something or you find something better."

"I d-don't care that she's... she's coming out of her shell! I think that's MARVELOUS! But that doesn't mean she has to.... to... to leave everything behind! Leave me for that b*****d! Candace still... still hangs around his office, y'know that? You know? It's like I didn't even matter." He huffed, wobbling upright again as the adrenalin rose. "And now she's... she's run over right now cause she thinks she can sweet the answer-answer-answers out of him."

Coming out of her shell. Rep would rather have put it more like falling off the edge of sanity, but for once he kept his trap shut. Even at the mention of Candace who normally got his hackles up.
"Then why aren't you over there making sure at the very ******** least that b*****d doesn't nail your rebound?"

"B-because..." He hesitated. Because he had panicked and needed a drink to think clearly about the sudden emotional blow. Because deep down, he was jealous and afraid of H. "I DON'T KNOW." He glared hotly at the window, grabbing his guitar to roughly sling it over his shoulders.

Rep felt somewhat proud of himself, he'd soused up a fellow hunter in need and given him direction. He really couldn't explain that strange guilty gut feeling that he might have also just pushed him off in the direction of the tiger's den. Guilt never lasted too long with Rep.
"Aye man! Go ******** like, take that bull by his horns."

"I'LL. I'LL SHOW THEM BOTH WHO'S NOT A LIABIL-ILI-ILITY." Fists were clenched, and the whistle at his neck had started to glow- Roar, though, was doing all he could to NOT be summoned.
I think y'aughta just take a lay down, guy. Seriously.
"NO. I'm... I'm TIRED of b-being bullied! I'm tired of... of being told I'm doing it WRONG. Who... who says her way is RIGHT?"
