Naano's expression was that of absolute humor, but she didn't laugh. Ayato didn't have the right...personality to train fire types. She honestly didn't understand what brought him to catch it.
Calmly, Naano grabbed at the fire type and set him down. Sternly, with her fiery eyes set on him she said "No! That is your trainer, and you will treat him as such!" A fiery temperament should always be mirrored.
As the Pokemon went to take another way at Ayato she blocked and took the hit, but did not cry out in pain. She cringed, and the Pokemon stared at her. "No.". Again, her voice was stern and solid.

The Monferno had calmed down greatly and berry juice oozed from its mouth. Naano couldn't help herself, the thing was too precious. Taking out a napkin from her bag she wiped her face and picked up the fire type. At the sight of Ayato's crutch she eyed him. "Just be glad it's a few days and not a few months." She still had her arm in a sling.
Her other hand was bleeding from the scratch, and the Pokemon quickly hobbled into the Pokecenter and returned with bandages which she wrapped around Naano's hand. At the same time, she glared at Ayato.
Chuckling, Naano said "Shush Aya, she's sweet. Leave her be." and she continued to coo at the fire type as they walked, and Ayato hobbled.

Naano hugged the Pokemon closer to herself "Oh stop crying about it Aya.". She greeted Seth with a kind hello. So she had been right after. "Wow Esme, you were right. That sure is a big, thick, heavy sword." Bringing her attention to their hand holding she smirked and lifted up an eyebrow. "My my, perhaps those weren't innuendos?"
Bringing her attention back to the Monfero she said "Aren't you a feisty one? Quite a good fighter I imagine.". She pat her on the head. "What are you going to name her Ayato?".

Handing over the fire type to Ayato, she couldn't help but frown. Such a nice fire type...and so full of energy and a thirst for heat!
And at Esme's words her face fell even further. But once more, she couldn't bring herself to make her stay. "Sounds fun, just keep it PG you two." Smirking she brought her attention back to the Monferno that was now in Ayato's arms. Tapping it on the nose lightly with her finger she couldn't help but giggle at its reaction. The expression on its face was so comedic and fun she just new that the Pokemon would terrorize Ayato forever. And perhaps that made her mood brighten slightly.
She found the need for her own fiery companion so immense that she let out Beatrice, who in turn began to braid her hair (which she had left down). The Monferno became interest in its fellow fire type, but Blaziken paid no notice. Her single focus was on Naano, which was still peculiar and unexplained.
