Prize Tank!

Tenacity smiled at the booth owner- he seemed nice enough. "Thank you!" she said. "Are all these minipets yours?" she asked, somewhat in awe. Tenacity had a lot of fish, but nothing like this!

She reached in the basket and pulled out an eyeball. Oh! Food! Tenacity was a kasha, and they mostly ate body parts, so eyeballs were like candy.

Then she noticed the sign said to turn the eyeballs in. Aww. She couldn't eat it then? Had Tenacity been a bit more bold, she might have tossed it into her mouth, but she was timid, and followed rules to a T.

Shyly, she offered the eyeball to the booth owner and reluctantly said, "I ... think this is yours?"

Draven watched his customers come and go. He recognized a few, but there were so many new folks running around tonight! He was just mulling this over when he noticed one pink haired ghoul staring at him. He had just caught it when he saw her face light up with recognition. "Lizzy! Of course I remember you! How have you been?" It had been a while since that boat trip, but Lizzy was still recognizable as Lizzy.

Things did seem to be bustling, and about that time a couple other ghouls walked up.

"Yep! All mine," he nodded to the one that asked. The minipets might have argued that he was theirs, but as no one understood minipet, it didn't matter. "Oh! Another lucky one!" He accepted the offered eyeball. "Feel and for that, I will trade you one of these little guys." He gestured to the young perytons.

To the ghoul that waited, he grinned. "Any questions?"

Draven did, however, notice that both ladies had come up empty in the fearados tank (more or less). In fact, several people were. The fearados were a bit more of a challenge to people they didn't know he surmised. That didn't mean he wanted anyone to walk away empty handed. A quick thought struck him.

He did have something else he could give away. He reached under the counter, and pulled out a basket of fearados bait.




"You ghouls are free to take one of these, too, if you want!" Sure, they might not actually be useful for much...but it was something. Draven grinned though. It was a totally great idea.








Draven was still grinning over this awesome new prize when Vi slipped a little note into his hand. Oh! Micail had been back by. And he'd won too! Good, good.







A couple lucky festival goers, at some point in the night, realize they have picked up something odd along the way. A piece of fearados fishing bait is totally stuck to them. Maybe it's in a fold of their clothing, on their shoe, or (Jack forbid) in their hair. At least it's not minipet poop.

But what on earth are they going to to with it?

Trying The Token Tank!

Manning her own booth was hard! So Belladonna didn't feel bad one little bit about all the breaks she was taking from it. Nope, nope, nope. OK, maybe just a little, but all the prizes to be won kind of outweighed any guilt she did feel.
Speaking of prizes...
"Ooohhhh~" The witch cooed at the black tank. A little flash of red caught her interest, and her curiosity was piqued. All she had to do was reach in and hope for the best, right? That was pretty easy!
Quick fingers rolled up the sleeve of her uniform shirt to the elbow before Belladonna took a deep breath and plunged her hand in.
At first all she felt was cool water, so she wiggled her fingers a bit. And then something crashed into the back of her hand. Hard enough to make the witch let out a tiny shriek and jumped back, effectively wrenching her hand out of the water.
Eyes wide, she looked around to ascertain no one had seen that measly bit of showmanship. Ah well, at least she hadn't gotten bit!
The witch waved with a smile at the owner before she snatched up one of the fishing baits.
"Thanks for the game! I'll be back later!" She called to Draven before she skipped off.

"We'll see you!" Draven waved at reaper ghoul who had made a bit of a splash in the tank.

He chuckled before turning back to the ghoul who won the peryton. "I approve of fish tanks," he nodded. "I would have more fish, but...well, the fearados like their space. What kind of fish do you keep?"

He grinned at her again. "Goofball pets can be the most fun. Or so I've been told." Draven could talk about minipets all day long. It was good to meet someone who seemed to like them as much as he did. This ghoul had to be the good sort. Just look at how much that peryton seemed to like her. A good home, for sure.

Prize Tank!

The first booth that caught Sylas's attention smelled like fish. Curious, he wandered over to it, watching as someone stuck their hand in and withdrew an item. That seemed easy enough! He waited for the box to be unoccupied before sticking his own hand in it, rooting around for a moment before his fingers wrapped around something. He carefully withdrew his hand, discovering that he had pulled an egg out of the box.

Trying The Token Tank!

Carefully cradling the egg in his hands, Sylas moved on to the next tank. He tried to peer inside it, but the water was too dark to see anything. Although Sylas's hands were occupied, his tentacles were free to explore the shadowy tank. He stuck the tip of one in and nearly jerked it out again as something inside the tank bumped against it. It didn't seem threatening, though, so Sylas's tentacle patted the thing before withdrawing--and then wiped itself dry on Sylas's shirt.

Gross. sad Well, one out of two wasn't bad. Sylas took one of the fishing baits from the basket next to the tank and wandered off, reminding himself to come back later.
