Aedan strongly suspected that this game was going to make him look like an idiot. With that in mind, he stepped gingerly up onto the dance pad, picking a song and hoping that, if nothing else, he didn't do anything drastic, like slip and fall on his face.
When he stepped off the machine, breathing slightly heavily, he made a face, pretty sure he was at the lower end of the scoring spectrum. However, that had been pretty fun, he had to admit.
((24 + 3 = 30 points Minis SN: Vashtya
Edit: updated...how I missed that first combo, I'm not sure, lol! Thank you!))

Mei grinned widely as she continued to watch players come and go. Some were good others....well they could use a little cordination practice. Adjusting her big magenta bow she then clapped her hands as Aedan finished. "Not bad not bad!" The small ghoul wiggled in her seat, the time to post the High Scores for the day was getting close. If anyone else wanted to play for the day they'd need to get on in here soon! Vashtya Your score is 30 since you had 2 combos~ 83 <3

The brightly lit pad attracted the mothboil like a- well, like a moth to the flame. Phil watched as those before him danced up a storm, ruffling his feathers whenever he suspected one of them might land flat on their faces. Was this something he was willing to dissipate (not really) over? It looked quite intense...
Once he intook a deep breath and stepped onto the machine, the boil's face took on a stern expression, concentrating on the tiny arrows on the screen. Unfortunately, he missed a few steps due to his careful stepping which resulted in losing his combo early on. Considering it was a first attempt, Phil sighed in relief that he was able to score as he did without resulting in loss of limb or sense. Stepping slowly off, he allowed the next person to take over.

Tilting her head lightly at Lizzy, the ghoul pushed her shades further up her nose. "I guess the only difference would be H.P. Artcraft is run by me and the Arts & Crafts club is run by someone else." She gave a light shrug. "I mean. We do arts and crafts but we also talk about the dynamics of art as well. Favorite artists or pieces of work. Stuff like that. We like to encompass not only the making of art and crafts but the history behind the art and different art from multitudes of cultures." Mei grinned. "Not only do we like to have fun but we also like to learn."Dragain Sorry I missed this. o3o Its been hectic catching up on things with my net being down all day. ;;

Rikki couldn't stay away from DDD for long. When he saw the line die down a bit he was immediately back at the booth and stepping up. He chose a song he was familiar with, but his score wasn't as great as his previous one had been, unfortunately. By the time the game was over, he was still breathing a little heavier and grinning. Jack he loved this game.

Marigold didn't register anything other than the music and the flashing lights. OwO!!!! She wasn't paying much attention to her feet inasmuch as she was trying to catch the arrows on the screen. Hey, she was having fun and that's what was more important to her.

So Edgar wasn't particularly good at DDD. He enjoyed it and that was what mattered. The zomboil wasn't playing to win, he was playing because it was fun. Because of that, he couldn't help but come back to play again. Perhaps he could get an even higher score this time. Though it was difficult for him to move quickly, he concentrated as he played and much to his pleasure, managed to do better than he had the last time.

Yin was walking by and did not see Alexander around, only that Rikki had been playing the game. Maybe he should try it out? Not that he really had a clue as to what he was doing. He flashed Miss Meixiang an apologetic look before he began.
Actually it felt like he had done fairly well...must have just been his reflexes. He bowed before walking off, not so sure that he should stick around.

It was a shot in the dark, but his body had warmed up with a bit of dancing activity earlier. Perhaps the chills of his run-in with the snowbank of the previous booth would simmer down if he warmed himself up with a bit of light activity. He hadn't cracked his scalp last time, so that was a good enough indication that injury was not guaranteed. He could try it again with less worry than the first time... or maybe more now that he'd thought that.
More sluggish movements resulted by the time the boil was finished, but at least he'd managed a higher combo and body heat.

Alex was still feeling a little down, leaning against the backside of the booth when an all too familiar voice chimed up.
"Alexander, what are you doing back here? Shouldn't you be helping out your friend with her booth? It seems rather busy."
Alex's eye shot open, and he turned his head to the side to offer his mother a weak smile. "Hey, ya, sorry. Was just feeling a little overwhelmed I guess. I should get back to work." Even as he spoke, he could see his mom leaning back to peer around the side of the booth towards the game.
"Oh! Oh! I think I just saw Yǐn Cáng!" She said, rather happily, leaning back to face her son with eyes wide and bright with delight. "You didn't tell me he was here."
"Mom, I told you, me and Yin---"
"Oh, right, you had a fight." She pursed her lips and shook her head a little, her white curls bouncing around her shoulders, her skeletal hand coming up to rest on her hip. She was obviously in some kind of denial that they had broken up.
"Right, okay mom, I'm getting back to work." He shrugged, rolling his eye at her and shuffling back around to the front of the booth.
"As soon as it's not busy, I think we should have a wander around together!" She shouted at him, and he waved his hand over his head and behind him in a sort of acknowledgment/dismissal.
And then when he got to the front he glanced at the highscores only to see Yin at the top for the day.
JACK DAMNIT, he was going to have to see that name all bloody day now! Being angry was just easier then being upset at this point.

The ghoul's head turned just slightly as she watched Alex return to the front of the booth out of the corner of her eye. His form not so purple as everyone around her. He didn't seem to be doing any better, in fact he looked worse. Twirling around in her seat, she grasped his wrist and slipped a beaded bracelet onto it. "Here. This is for you. For being amazing and helping me out with the booth." A small smile came to her lips as she looked up at him from her seat. "The purple bead is me, the red bead is you, the blue bead is Mort, the brown bead is Leo and well...the light green one is me again." Mei laughed, releasing his wrist and rubbing the back of her head. "Listen Alex, when all this is done and over with I want to talk to you ok? We haven't had any one on one time. Just you and me in a while."

Alex was so busy glaring at the high score screen in full blown pout mode that he didn't notice anything else around him until somebody grabbed his wrist. Swiveling his attention to the ghoul beside him, he eyed the bracelet carefully. Five beads, each representing somebody in his close circle of friends. Though Mei had explained that the green one was for her as well, there was really only one person on Alex's mind that he could relate the color too. His anger evaporated to be replaced by a raw feelings of hurt and regret once more. "Thank you." He murmured, offering her a small smile that did nothing to get rid of the pain in his eyes. "Yes, we should, definitely!" His smile brightened by minimal amounts, but it was still a start. And then, since it didn't seem particularly busy at the moment, he continued on. "I'm sorry I've been so weird and...distant lately. I just...I'm still not over it, I guess." He shrugged, sounding quiet and apologetic. She would know exactly what it was that he was talking about, surely, even if he hadn't really talked about it with anyone. Surely by now it must have been obvious.

Pushing her shades back up her nose, as they had begun to slip once more something they were tending to do a lot, she patted his arm lightly. She figured he might associate the green bead with a particular person and had meant no hurt by it. But she had needed another color to fill in the fifth bead. And since her skin was green. Perhaps another purple would have been better. "Don't worry about it Alex. Just remember that those who care about you the most are the ones still standing by your side. People come and go from our lives like the migrating birds. Sometimes they leave and never come back, other times they will surprise you and return. Remember the good times you had listening to their sweet birdy song but if they no longer fly back into your life take solace in the birds that are still around you." Perhaps it wasn't exactly as her father would of said it. And maayyybeeeee it wasn't exactly the right metaphor. But she only wanted to see Alex smile and be happy again. It would take time but she would do whatever it took in her power to help him overcome this obstacle in his life. That's what good friends did.
