Mitsu's eyes lit up fondly at the thought of the teahouse. It's calm atmosphere and the warm aroma of tea and pastries. It was quite the walk though and through town no less. Mitsu wavered at that very thought but how could she tell him no? Knowing Shun he would probably take it personally. Ask her 'so you think I can't protect you?' Or something along those lines. That wasn't the problem it was just...her.

Trying to think of an alternate solution Mitsu turned her head back and looked up toward him before looking toward the bathroom. Ah, there was an idea. If anything she could at least...stall right? She pointed to the bathroom and tried to make a motion like water coming down over top of her like she was in the shower.

Her eyes drifted to the floor again. It was hard to decide not to go when Shun was promising he was going to eat. She really didn't want to leave though. Something about being in a room had turned from eerie to comforting.

Making a non-committal gesture, Mitsu padded her way to the bathroom and disappeared inside closing the door softly behind her. The glass had been cleaned up and the wall by the sink was bare without the mirror but it didn't really bother her. She was glad that there was nothing to reflect her current image back to her. No doubt she would look shameful knowing she was leading Shun on.

At least hoping to not make it a lie she undressed to shower starting the water not long after. The process of showering took an exceptionally long time but mostly she was procrastinating getting out. When she got sick of the water running down her Mitsu finally hopped out wrapping a towel around her torso and grabbing another to wrap around her shoulders to cover her arms. Normally she would use the second towel for her hair but...she didn't have any.

With a brief look of hesitation she made her way back out into the room to head to her closet to find something to wear. Shun had removed the clothes that Candace had bought but it was still awkward to peek inside knowing someone else had been riffling through her things.

Mitsu was shuffling through her clothes slowly, trying to decide what else to do. Shun was still patiently waiting for for her to get ready to go but the thought of leaving her room sent a tremor of fear down her spine. The world beyond her door seemed so large and uncertain now. Danger was magnified in her mind and she couldn't help but envision all the ways she could be caught unaware while she was out.

The lycan had to pause momentarily as she pitched forward, doing her best to keep from completely falling on her hands and knees. Her fear had manifested to a physically crippling degree. She couldn't move she was shaking so hard and standing was a task. Really she just wanted to crawl on her hands and knees into the closet and hide until the sensation passed over her.

Trembling as Shun approached Mitsu wrapped her arms around his as he braced her, pulling her back toward him. The comfort helped ease her a little but she still shook her head. No, she was not alright. Her insecurities and fear were suddenly magnified gripping at her at full force. The effect was overwhelming and threatened to send her to her knees.

Turning slightly she pointed toward her bed. She wanted to lie down for a moment and calm her erratic nerves. Though she would most likely not be sleeping laying down still counted as rest in her book.

Reluctantly Mitsu nodded though trying and actually doing were two different things. As she reached the bed her hands came out to brace herself as she climbed up, still trying to keep the towels close. The bed had never been made but she curled up among the rumpled blankets feeling Shun laying down behind her.

She pressed into the kiss to her head, noting how odd it felt for him to pet her head now that she had short hair and regular human-like ears. It was something she wasn't sure she couldn't adjust to. Mitsu didn't like it and wanted her hair to grow out faster.

Feeling him nuzzle against her Mitsu brought a hand back to run across his cheek, her fingers seeking out the random stubble on his face. It was patchy but she liked to feel it against her fingertips.

With a slight nod Mitsu turned her head just enough to give Shun a quick kiss, hoping he would actually try and get some rest like he said. Maybe she would too for that matter but it was hard to say. What waited for her in the world of dreams was terrifying and she wasn't sure she was ready to face it just yet. The bed was comfortable though and she relaxed where she was wondering if sleep would come.

Mitsu didn't drift but she managed to maintain a state of calm trance. Being in Shun's arms helped her feel safe and secure, at least until he began to move his hold tightening slowly around her. At first Mitsu just shifted and didn't think much of it until his hold began to get uncomfortable.

Wiggling a bit she tried to get him to loosen his grip but he only tightened around her waist further to the point she was having a hard time breathing. She began her struggle then trying to shake him from his sleep since she had no way to verbally tell him to wake up. He seemed to be stirring behind her and she could feel him finally wake with a start, breathing hard against her head. Tapping his arms now she hoped to let him know to loosen his hold.

His grip finally loosened and Mitsu breathed a silent sigh of relief first relaxing on the bed to take a few good breaths of air. When she was done collecting herself she gently turned around to face her reaper, crimson eyes searching his face. Dreaming? It didn't seem like a good dream. Were his lucid dreaming skills not working like they should?

Her gaze was questioning but she at least shook her head. She wasn't hurt she had mostly been startled to find herself squeezed and restricted. Her body wasn't quite were it should have been but she wasn't entirely weak either.
