"I'm gunna sign up." Gray fingers gave her's a squeeze before slipping free. Picking up the pen beside the member list, Seiji scribbled a star beside his name before setting it back down. It was nice that there was no schedule or hard time frame with which they'd have to show up and pitch in, and considering how scattered Seiji's life seemed lately, an open offer to help really was the best way to go about it for him.
And it wasn't as though sitting on a board and waiting to be dropped into water was all that difficult. He could drop by periodically, take some dunks, and get his volunteer work done between visiting the other booths and catching up on school work he'd missed while being a hermit over half the year. Something he was now definitely regretting. He'd had his reasons, and they'd seemed sound, but he'd missed out on so much, good and bad, while locked away in his room.. Not to mention the toll it'd no doubt taken on Junko. Never again. Nope nope.
He returned to the ghoul's side and slide his arm to rest across her shoulders, bending at the hip so he could press his lips to the side of her head in a gentle kiss. "If you don't have time to do both I understand, but it would be fun to do something together for Fright Night." The words might have been loaded, but his tone made it clear there was no pressure. It'd be nice to work together, but even if she didn't sign up he was sure he'd see her plenty.
Regardless, Seiji had signed up to volunteer and he would be there for the club as well as Riley. Well, as much as he could be.
